So like if I want to buy one and only one game out of three like the miser I am, Conquest is the most interesting choice?

Conquest and Birthright are both valid choices, short version:

Birthright:

-Easier

-Japanese (Hoshido) based

-Meh story

-Ability to max levels and supports without worry (though you can actually kind of work around the supports in Conquest with just one DLC)

- You get to be with other losers like Takumi

Conquest:

-We got Camilla aka Ms. Thundertits

-Harder? More like, MORE INTENSE!!! What are you chicken!?

-Story!? You want story!? We'll make you feel like a UN inspector in war-torn Sudan!

-Get to kick Takumi's ass for calling you Nohrian scum, that Hoshido... b*tch!

But Revelations is better from what I've seen.

Even though you're labeled a traitor by both countries, you recruit soldiers from both countries, and they soon realize they're not as different as they thought.

A.  You can't buy Revelation without Conquest or Birthright

B. LOLNO. Revelation starts strong, but it goes off the rails by about halfway. Even then, it also has the worst gameplay, using gimmicks to the Nth degree.

Furthermore, it stands on its own the worst. As a story, it needs the other 2 completed in order to actually appreciate what's going on, not to mention certain character interactions. It doesn't hold up as its own game, though Birthright is similar in that regard, just not to the same degree.

Galeforce is not that bad. It's not broken, but it's still usable, especially since dark falcon is a good class.

Hence why I said it was just okay. It's way more balanced but I wouldn't really wanna use it on a competitive build since Replicate is a thing and you can still support with those. That aside, even though Dark Falcon is a good class, you still want the support bonus when attacking. Best thing Galeforce can be used for in this is hit&run against opponents with low HP.

So I'll get Birthright and Conquest for my birthday. My guess Revelations starts around chapter 6 in both games.

Technically they all start there. Revelations is still worth buying since, mediocre as it is, it's probably the cannon path. Just play the other two first.

Wow Nintendo really dick punched our wallets this time :/

Can I just say... I don't know how i feel about the Hidden Truths 1 and 2 DLC.

I mean, I get that maybe they couldn't fit those story plots into the main game. Okay, fair deal. But hiding those things behind a (small, mind you, but the principle of the idea) paywall? I mean, that DLC completely flipped my views on certain characters. Why are you hiding that from me, Nintendo?!

It happened in Awakening with the future past DLCs.

We get similar such coming in the future, as well, where we get... 9 new DLC, 2 festivals, 6 story, and 1 anna's gift

Yeah, but Future Past was at least an alternate 'This is completely hopeless and an alternate timeline'.

This is a legit holding back of the backstory of the villain. Not that I personally mind, but it made me wonder what I'd think of this game if I never played it.

And I am buying all the DLC...

Double post but I was thinking of Supports That Should Be. And with my limited knowledge I have come up with so far off the top of my head.

[spoiler=Spoilers]Corrinsexuals of course. But specifically Ryoma X Scarlet, And Azura X Shura. (Like even if just A rank, this seems ridiculously obvious it should exist.)

The Awakening crew from Nohr with the "Awakening" children units. Wouldn't that be fun?

Kana (and other royal children) with all the Royals. Such as Kana and Xander to A rank. Because really it would be interesting. This is Lissa and Lucina all over again in missed potential.

Also Oboro and Arthur would be an amusing one from what I can tell.

[spoiler=Spoilers of Spoilers]I was actually disappointed when I found out that Scarlet could only support Corrin. It didn't make sense why she couldn't support Ryoma or any other Nohrian characters. Though I personally just dislike that some characters only have support options with Corrin since it makes no sense regardless. I mean you don't go to a party and then only talk to one person there, so why would you only have one support? It's just common sense really.

I think I made my stance on the Awakening crew from Nohr and the Awakening children clear, but if they're gonna be there then yeah you may as well do something about them being there. One support wouldn't hurt.

Supports with any other relatives would be appreciated really. As you said, they missed out by not including Lissa and Lucina in Awakening and did it again here.

Arthur and anybody would be amusing to me tbh. Just seeing how people react to Arthur is hilarious in and of itself.

The Awakening Trio isn't badly executed, at all. The actual lore for it falls just a bit short, but has a good core idea, and the only off executions are Anankos and Lilith. Spoiler is in white, obviously. There is 0 shame to them being used here, considering modern FE isn't about politics, like it once was, but about time/dimension travel and sheet.

The reincarnations not so much, but... It's nice to see Severa get some resolution when she mothers Caeldori, and Rhajat is... Well...

Rhajat is a very, VERY good character, as opposed to the 1-2 tone garbage that was Tharja. Tharja had a massive cult following because durr yandere, but Rhajat takes that, has reasons and motives, and still has room to be a decent person and character. I can easily forgive this one, because Tharja desperately needed a revamp.

i've barely touched asugi so
