It depends what happens between then and now:

30% chance that I'll stay at home moping all day. And possibly crying.

60% It shall be like any other day.

10% I'll get dragged into going somewhere

Regardless I will be on this site active as usual, although one should expect some pessimistic banter from me then.

one thing is for sure: There is no way in hell I'm leaving the house, I dot feel like seeing a bunch of happy couples..

(you beat me to the punch I would've made thar topic)

It turns out, I may end up going somewhere. Dammit the last thing I want is to become the third wheel. I may ditch to stay home, might sound like a douche move, but I don't care.

Just planning to get lunch and go to Deadpool with a friend. Nothing romantic, and I don't think that every encounter with the opposite sex needs to be.

It should be noted that me and Winter don't know each other in real life.

There's someone I've been liking for a while. She's the daughter of my mom's friend, and because of my mom's BFF relations, we see each other often whether we meet in our local community in parties, or on outings. I couldn't deny her beauty, but she was also very talented and dedicated to her work...and that's when I knew I felt it was more than having a crush. The more I spent time with her, the more I sometimes imagine how happy we could be. We often do some talk here and there since we share interests in KPop, but that's pretty much it, but otherwise, we only meet when her mom brings her family to hang out or we get tasked up with things, and we only initiate some small talk here and there.

I might do something since the day is coming up on Sunday, the chance that I might see her, but the thing that is setting me back is that we know each other for a while and have done some things, but if I confess, it might end up awkward the more I see her again. Nevertheless, it's worth a shot to see if she's truly interested.

For once, I really want to fall in true love just to feel the kind of attachment and tenderness that comes with companionship, not just ecstasy.

Dude, I'm going with a girl, it's just not like it's romantic. Go with a friend

Plot twist: I currently have no friends. The ones that I've had I haven't seen more than a year. They've moved away or I we just stopped talking. I didn't really have anything in common with them tbf.

watching movies alone is a unique experience i recommend trying out at least once, go for it deadpool

It would be too awkward for me to go alone for my tastes especially on Valentine's day. I guess I will watch the movie when it comes out on DVD or Netflix or something.

I'll likely spend all day baking chocolates to give away on the 15th at school. I thought I'd try doing the Japanese valentine's day tradition of giving obligation chocolates to everyone in class, friendship chocolates for people close to me and of course the special love chocolate for -redacted-.

>implying that's a plot twist

Trust me, if you can become the sort of person who can go watch movies alone on Valentines without being fazed you'll probably be a happier person.

It's your online handle namesake goddamnit, who cares if it's Valentines day, it's your duty to go see it, soldier.

JUST DO IT!

(srsly, don't not tell her, that's a feeling that will eat you up, if she's a real friend, even if she doesn't like you, she'll move on)

You're always right Shia LeBoeuf. My problem is the execution...how I should approach and confess. I got enough social skill and guts for that but I need to make it good enough to show how I feel without making everything else awkward for her or others.

As long as you ask her out face-to-face and not by text or something stupid like that it should be alright.

How about you take it a bit slowly, and just offer to take her to lunch and a movie, and slowly confess instead of everything in one day. Shows that you're confident (a good thing) and looking for more than a pussy call (also a good thing)
