I'll comment on this more later, but did you notice that Dark Hunting Ground and Harpies Oath (I assume it is a continuous spell) form a loop? You play both spells then summon any WIND Harpie, and then you get a full field of 5 Dark Harpies who can easily push for a game win.

 

Hilariously, though, asside from that combo, the cards themselves are kinda unwieldy and mediocre at best. I can't say more now (got school stuff to do), but I'd be more than willing to comment more on this set/help you with your Card Grammar to make the cards "sound" like yugioh cards.

...Well, you didn't even write their effects underneath them, so it would take too long to give a full review. I guess it's ok to just totally skip over the rules of the section, no big deal.

The dark Harpie Ladies suck. You need a lot of resources to get them out, particularly those you don't have.

First, you need to have Harpies' Hunting Ground in your hand. Not too hard.

Then, you need to also have Dark Hunting Ground in your hand. I guess you could terraforming or the other lady.

Next, you need to summon a regular Harpie monster. Uh, okay, seems easy enough (unless of course you brick from all the non-summonable monsters you're running, then that's not so fun)

FINALLY, you need to go neutral and summon a SINGLE monster that allows no further play. You also don't specify where to summon it from, so I guess it can be banished and you can still summon it or something????

What is harpies oath even. You're forming a retarted loop that's easily a +4...but it's with monsters that can't even attack. Your high risk, high reward thinking is in general poor card design.

Remember, you posting in this section constitutes acceptance to being graded on cards with respect to the competitive game state (and other cards in general).

As someone who mainly plays Harpie, Kozmo, and Kaiju, these offer very little support to the Harpie playstyle. First off, you need the regular Harpies to summon them, but you're punished for doing so. Let's not forget that since these are Harpies, they gain archetype support, but only Hysteric Sign. They have very little swarm power, which is what Harpie does. Granted though, Dark Hysteric Party has some use for the WIND Harpies, but not by a longshot. Why would I pay 800 LP every standby phase to summon 1 Harpie when Hysteric Party can summon 5 during the battle phase and give me +3 during the end phase assuming I discard Hysteric Sign? Really, these only seem to serve as discard fodder for Harpie Channeler like with Sisters.

 

Also, as Toad said, that artwork is too sexual. I get that the OCG Harpies had somewhat sexual designs, but not to that degree.

One last thing. You need to work on your OCG grammar. "Regular" isn't a term in the Yugioh dictionary. You have to say "WIND Harpie". "Method" needs to be "this way". Also, Mistress needs to say "ignoring summoning conditions." since the Dark Harpies say that they can only be summoned by Dark Hunting Grounds and Dark Hysteric Party, otherwise her effect doesn't work. It's kind of overpowered as well. Requiring 3 materials for complete immunity from effects? Yeah, I don't like the sound of that. Considering that she is a Harpie monster, she also gains the added protection from targeting by Harpie's Pet Phantasmal Dragon. I suggest that you change it to where she either needs to have a material to offer the protection or reduce how much coverage it has.

 

On an unrelated note, you mind PMing me the link to the image used for Queen? I wanna use that for something.

As ego already mentioned, by posting in this forum, you give permission for your cards to be critiqued/reviewed within reason (which is the case for both ego/Toadtotter); whether you like it or not. If you don't want to listen to other members who are offering their time to help you make the cards better (they DON'T have to), then this is not the place for you.

 

Regarding the rules on artwork used, there is some grey area into what is acceptable in terms of "explicit" art. To err on the safe side, keep it at PG-13 (some sexuality is fine and the OCG does that to an extent, but art like the ones used for Harpies 2 and 3 may be pushing it).

 

This goes for all members; if you have doubts about whether a picture is too explicit to be posted, PM a moderator to check if they're okay before you do. Not going to be like KoA, but exercise your own judgment on what is considered appropriate. (A reminder that children view this site as well, even though they aren't supposed to be here if they're underage)

If you want, you can crop the rest of the image and use google images' search by image option. If you can't be bothered, I'll do it for you if you PM me say that you want me to do that. I'm probably not gonna check this thread again.
