It isn't once per turn, it isn't limited to controlling up to a copy, it cannot miss the timing, and cannot be targeted by effects. Using that as a base, I chose the best 3 Level 4 Trap Monsters I could find to let it go nuts. All of them are fully chainable and are protected by Tikki Soul from having me lose too many, and by Imperial Custom from outright being destroyed.Tikki Curse turns them all into "you battle? you die", and Zoma is just the other highest ATK Level 4 Trap Monster that has a fun burn effect that can trigger off having it suicide, even if Tikki Soul ends up flipping it down (though I haven't used the burn effect as of yet). Since Trap Monsters cover up 2 Zones each, they can clog the field pretty quickly and make Statue of Anguish not so rampart. That's why I take advantage of them being Level 4 to Xyz with them and either Volcanic Rocket or Firestorm Guards into Zenmaister, which flipping Trap Monsters down again, gives me another shot at activating them (that's how that works, right? ). Now, Statue of Anguish has 0 ATK, so if the situation requires it, I can make Absolute Dragon AKA 2800 ATK beater that negates attacks and floats into Vortex. Volcanic Card section: Rocket searches Accelerator.Shell is great ammo for it, netting me a draw and thinning the deck by searching itself, setting up for next turn's discard>draw combo, making its +1 from useless extra hand to potential Trap Monsters and whatnot.Scattershot is a quick Raigeki that gets recycled with Firestorm Guards over and over.Mysticals help a lot when the removal that Statue of Anguish, Scattershot, etc provide isn't enough and my opponent tries to Lose 1 Turn on me or floodgate me. If my opponent doesn't run any of that, I can MST my own Blaze Accelerator so I can turn a bad hand into a Scattershot play if needed. Volcanics and Trap Monsters interacting: Magic Planter often doesn't cost me anything with the Accelerator I already searched anyways, or when my Trap Monsters seem like they are about to clog the field. It is just straight-forward extra speed and consistency that works with both sides. Uria is more of a tech, since it can use up both the extra searched Blaze Accelerators and the Trap Monsters, and if needed it can also be recycled by Firestorm Guards. It is often not really needed, but it can come in handy with its 8000+ ATK it has consistently plus the OPT MST effect. Also, I've had opponents Trap Stun me, and that ruins Trap Monsters's "I'm a monster" effects forever, I had my opponent say "good luck getting rid of those 3 dead cards" and I replied with "great idea". It never even gets drawn until mid to late game so it is more so for opponent's that are very defensive.Papilloperative is meant for that scenario specifically. As you probably saw, some of the Extra Deck is just filling it up, so the deck could definitely get better. Toffee.
Twin Twister kinda' sorta' replaced MST.(I'm exaggerating a bit, but still) Also I'd run Quantum Cat/Swamp Mirrorer(whichever you want) over Zoma. Mostly because of the fact they can become LIGHT/DARK and you can make Xyzs like Bujintei Tsuku with Quantum and Soul- Soul is the LIGHT one right? This gives you another draw engine/more options.Plus... Zoma appearing in Defense and only really going off if its run over in battle is kinda' wonky. Though Xyzs are more a tool to take stuff out of the way than a primary focus, and the timings the deck can make Tsuku and the timings it would like to could differ in practice. What's Soul? and I haven't checked Quantums carefully so I don't know what that is either, is it on TCG?
Toffee.
I mean Tiki Soul. Whatever. I can't ever remember if it was either Curse of Soul that was the LIGHT one, as it has more going for it. Oh, and if you ran both Quantum Cat AND Swamp Mirrorer, and by some chance had 1 Cat and 1 Swamp, or 2 Cat/Swamp, you can use them to make things like Lightning Chidori by playing them as WIND monsters. I thought in that part you were suggesting some Xyz from the Quantum archetype that's not yet available. Yeah I know Quantum Cat, just thought you were referring to something else in that line for some reason. Swamp Mirrorer is worth trying. It has what Quantum Cat doesn't: ATK. Yeah I can replace Zoma for that. I don't think I have space for both since I'd only be negging Zoma, but x2 of them wouldn't be unheard of and Chidori could be pretty awesome. Catman25
I tried the Swamp/Cat, but found I liked Zoma better, especially if you're playing Volcanics and doing a lot of burn. There's been many situations where it was a simple suicide for game. Plus, sheet gets pretty big out there (Dark Destroyer, Monarchs, etc). I've also found Abyss Stungray isn't too shabby either, especially if you're playing Imperial Custom. And if you play Birdman, that gives you access to Omega (and stuff like 7s and Leo), which recycles your banished Acclerators. Plus bouncing is pretty useful for Rocket or just one of your traps that you can set again. I agree with the Twin Twister, mainly because you can either discard Accelerator, or hit you face-up Accelertaor.

Birdman is a neat idea since the deck has more monsters than it looks like, and Synchro options. To be honest, that Gold Sarc was there because I didn't know what else to use, but I'm gonna swap it for Birdman and see how it does. Stungray was there initially, but it being a Level 5 made it more likely to just sit there, and other cards were already protecting Trap Monsters (Custom and Tikki Soul) so its effect wasn't always the most effective. With Birdman it can warrant a place for Level 8 Synchros though. I could tech one somewhere and see if it saves my life. Will try Twister. Hand size isn't too much of an issue so I think it can work out xP
