What is/was your best/worst subject?

I excelled a good amount at Math and Chemistry since I've been taking both those classes for quite a while. Math just requires a lot of practice and work; I believe that there was more difficulty in algebra than calculus. I have a good amount of chemistry range from basic to organic, though I wouldn't say I'm a savant at it.

Physics is my kryptonite. A lot of people say it makes more sense that chemistry because it has real world applications and thoughts to it, but getting the hand of formulas never made sense. The math could be applicable but the work I did in class in quizzes was vert different than homework and classwork with friends. I completely bailed that course.

My worst WAS math but after my senior year, I've developed a fondness for it because I had a good teacher. I'd like to think it's not my worst subject anymore, considering my last semester I got pretty decent grades for it. My worst right now is probably art-related classes, usually because they're the ones I take to fulfill my credit requirements and they give a sheet ton of work that I don't really feel like doing.

My best was English back when I was young and my fluency was better than the average kid, but by high school everyone else became more and more fluent while I kinda stayed the same, I can't really say I'm the best at the subject anymore either. My current best subject's economics I guess. I don't put in much effort and I still get a top grade.

Best: Math

Worst: English

Huh. Mine swapped.

Where were all you math nerds when I was ignoring my homework? Dammit people.

What?

I had a good teacher, too, but I still dropped the class after barely passing it.

Pretty much. Math was easy and logical, answers were answers and it made sense. English was the opposite. "No answer is wrong" when 80% of the time the question had an answer that you just had to relate to a source in one way or another. Questions were pointless and I didn't see any reason to really care for the subject anymore and basically gave up.

Best: Programming, English, and anything with writing involved.

Worst: Math and Science. I'm not exactly bad at either, but both require way more hard work than I am willing to give.

I should take up programming.

Okie.

For me, English was easy, as in the multiple choice questions, most answers were easy for me to identify, and it was rare for the questions to hardly relate to the piece. And as much as I hate essays, I have to admit, my teacher did help me improve upon how I wrote essays. And as for math, the furthest I've gotten above average is College Algebra/Trigonometry. I struggled in pre-Calculus. And even when I thought I knew the formula and applied everything, my answer was still off.

But everyone's different.

My best subject is maths.

My worst subject is possibly English, except that I am very good at it. The only reason I would say English is because I am an extremely slow writer. Seriously slow. This held me back in English lessons at school by a very long way.

Otherwise, my worst subject could be art, or textiles. I always break the sewing machine.

Unfortunately I'd have to say my best was economics. Got an A at A-Level and went on to start a degree in it. It's unfortunate though because I can't funking stand it.

Worst would probably be what my school called "resistant materials". Basically woodwork and things like that. Most of what I made was just a pile of wood.

I'll be graduating from high school in June... Let me think about this... For the most part, I've been a year or so ahead in math. But Algebra II was...difficult. In terms of everything in English besides reading comprehension, apparently, I've been at a late-college level since I was roughly twelve-years-old. History is probably my worst subject, although World History is what I truly struggled with; I'm not so bad with United States History. Science is a mixed bag for me; the more algebraic stuff that's involved, the better I do. Business classes always seemed fairly easy to me. I'll never get to take a class for them, but psychology and philosophy are subjects I'm naturally well-versed in. Learning any foreign language is nearly impossible for me right now because of my severe memory issues. Oh, and art/music classes weren't really my thing, either.

Can confirm that this subject sucked and I was just as sheet at it. I'm pretty sure there's still a bundle of sticks that I made sitting on the shelf in that room for future years to laugh at.

I was never bad at anything in high school until Anatomy and Pre-Calculus. What bugs me is that the first class had an insanely hard and strict teacher; the other section had a much easier time than ours did. That class is still harder than most of my courses at college.

With Pre-Calc, the teacher sucked and it was my senior year, so bad timing to have her I suppose.

My preferred subject was English. If the literature's good, then I actually enjoy those class discussions. And writing's always fun.

Nowadays, my skills lie in the social sciences and my weaknesses lie in the hard sciences.
