The Amazing Avian
You might want to drop the Berlineths and Mobius. Mega Zaborg does wonders here since it can get Erebus in the grave for its effect to recycle a monarch and lets you take out a chunk of your opponent's extra deck. Majesty's Fiend is also great to have. 141 is also great since Edea is level 1 and you can get up to 3 tribute summons if you lucksack hard enough. Also consider Solemns since you don't really have any disruption.
Slinky
Here's a general line-up Vassals: 2-3 Edea3 Eidos0-1 Garum0-1 Lucius0-1 Landrobe0-1 Mithra For the vassals, 2 Edea means you are less likely to open multiples of it (which sucks hard), but you also need to run ROTA and 141 so you have 4 copies of it. For the other vassals, it tends to vary, with each one serving different purposes. Lucius is the worst one of the bunch, but it does what Stealth did to Qliphorts, it makes your stuff safe. Mithra is free fodder, Landrobe is an out to various things, and Garum is almost equally as bad as Lucius, but is an additional search if you need it. Only run at most 1-2 of the other vassals, they will clog if you go too far. Actual Monarchs/Tribute Stuff 0-2 Vanity's Fiend (Not Vanity Ruler, Ruler although more potent, has potential to be more dead, as you can at least play Fiend with a hand of just Eidos)0-2 Majesty's Fiend (Self-explanatory)0-1 Kuraz (If you run the above 2 cards, feel free to skip Kuraz, as if you're running the above, you're using more of a lockdown version)1-2 Mega Caius (Banish is good, really good)1 Mega Raiza (its power has decreased vastly due to PePe not giving a funk, but you can still funk them over with it if you kill their scales first)1 Mega Zaborg (gotta nuke those extra decks yo)0-1 Mega Mobius (Up to you really, its extra pendulum hate)3 Ether (Massive play set-up, and has an escalation effect built-in to it)2-3 Erebus (I lean towards 2, as I much prefer Ether plays, but again, this is up to you)0-1 The Wicked Avatar0-1 Slifer the Sky Dragon0-1 Obelisk the Tormentor For Avatar/Slifer/Obelisk, when backed by March, are very powerful plays, that can only be reliably outed by Ignister, and since this is monarchs... they'd have to Twin Twister you first if you have the field up too. Only run 1 if you decide to go this route. SPELLS 1-2 March of the Monarchs (You technically only need 1, but running 2 isn't bad either)2-3 The Monarchs Stormforth (obvious)3 Pandeism of the Monarchs (Also obvious)3 Tenacity of the Monarchs (Again, obvious)2-3 Dominion of the Monarchs (Also up to you, I prefer 2, but some people like 3 because they'd rather have multiples than not have it at all, you can apply this logic to Edea too if you'd like)1-2 Return of the Monarchs (Again, I prefer 2, because its best to keep your hand count high so you have plenty of options in following turns)0-1 Strike of the Monarchs (mainly for its graveyard effect, allows you to set off your mega monarchs extra abilities at will if you have a more diverse line-up)2 Twin Twister0-1 Raigeki0-2 Dark Hole (if you don't have Raigeki for money reasons)0-1 Foolish Burial (set-up reasons)0-1 Terraforming (Only if you run 2 Dominion, otherwise not needed, and probably not needed if you do run 2, but it can't hurt if you have the space)1 RotA (Edea searching)1 One for One (Edea searching) TRAPS: 3 The Original Monarch (recycles stuff, keeps your hand count high etc. etc.)0-1 Escalation of the Monarchs (Ether kinda already does this, but if you want to trigger other stuff instead, go for it)0-2 The Monarchs Erupt (It's their skill drain, use it if you want, its very potent, not needed if you run Majesty)0-3 Solemn Strike (If you need extra protection, here ya go)0-1 Solemn Warning (^) For your side, if you don't main Vanity/Majesty, definitely side them, and it also wouldn't hurt to side extra copies of vassals if you'd like to switch line-ups varying on match-ups. Likewise, siding Mega Granmarg can prove useful against a lot of rogues, and it amasses a lot of advantage too. Maxx "C"s are also great side choices for this deck (or any deck really) EDIT: With the new list affecting tournaments only, this really empowers the Avatar/Slifer/Obby play with March, as Ignister is much less likely to hit the field now. goodfusion
I've heard Effect Veiler is also a very good side or main card in this deck, although I haven't played Monarchs so I don't know.
