The Highlander
Well the fact that Barrett's cards are quite generic makes them by far stronger, even though the fusion is kind of too reactive and his cards tend to give small boosts for effect damage. All in all, if they were to be released in the real game the fusion card would either require far more targets or at least a way to use monsters from the grave, considering the missing synergy between beast warriors and machines that would not be asking for all too much, the traps are alright for a bit protection, but would require a bit more to be worth it, for example instead of blowing themselves up just not working without beastborg monsters.Dark Sentinel is actually better than expected, considering he can remove potentially nasty backrow (like solemn strike or twin twister) before playing the fusion card. Lizardonx
I think I'd rather just play lose one turn.
Tinkerer
... synergy between beast warriors and machines ... Did someone just indirectly mention Beast Machine King Barbaros Ur? Nah, but seriously, there needs to be more Beastborgs for any of his things to be viable, though that Sentinel card looks somewhat useful by itself. Slinky
Too bad Black Salvo negates the effects, or else Sentinel would be a lot better.
BlackBeartic
So He stopped Yuya's Pend play, Xyz play. Now how will he deal with the next Xyz play (Odd Eyes Rebellion)
The Warden
Now we know why Yuya is more screwed, as Crimson Chain's full effect is now apparent. If you control no "Beastborg" monsters, destroy this card. Once, if a monster(s) is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck to your opponent's side of the field: You can target 1 of those monsters; it cannot attack, change its battle position, or be destroyed by battle. While this card is face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone, your opponent cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters, or activate Spell/Trap Cards. Crimson Chain stops all Normal and Special Summons, and all Spells/Traps, that your opponent would dish out; even Monarchs in that situation would be hard-pressed to get out of that. heraldry_lord
Yeah, but how do you get out of this problem? How do you stop these Chains? The best way to stop them is by stopping the Beastborgs from coming out in the first place, but again, this isn't the only archetype Monarchs can hose. heraldry_lord
IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONARCHS!!! >w<Stop focusing on the f***ing Monarchs! How do you stop the Chains once they are out?!? MST? Twin Twister? Only Crimson Chain is a ***** to deal with, and you can chain MST to its activation to prevent it from resolving. Once it resolves, well, I guess Flip Summons are still an option. EDIT: Galaxy Cyclone in the Graveyard should also work.
Tinkerer
So you gotta flip summon and run over the Beastborg in terms of generic answers. I mean, most level 4s have at least one stat over 1600, but probably not both (and that's if the Beastborg is left in ATK. Isn't its DEF 2000?). (Note: haven't watched the episode yet) I mean flavorfully, it makes sense since Barrett really needed a card that forced the only way to kill his Beastborg is via battle (to trigger its effect), but this... Inb4 most "Chain" related cards are ridiculous in some way.

Draconus297
I'm guessing Barret is going to break his own lock by crashing Panther Predator to get more Material or something, because there isn't a thing in Yuya's Deck (that I'm aware of) that could save him now. He can't Summon, which takes away his ability to escape via OERD . . . is there something I'm not seeing?
