Hallohallo
I'm running this at 2 in Speedroids as well, but I still didn't have a chance to activate it.
玄魔の王
If you want to stop pend summons in a way that won't completely brick you if you can't synchro, you can run Horn of Heaven instead. This thing's Main advantage is not letting them try again that turn. In SR gettng a first-turn Synchro isn't hard, and both Kendama and Hagoita render the cost moot.
SirReal
Pendulum by design is hard OPT, negating the one pend summon in a turn already basically ends their turn.

(i stay away from tournaments, so i rarely have to deal with them)

(i stay away from tournaments, so i rarely have to deal with them) You'd much rather hit the pendulum summon since that throws all your opponent's pendulum resources into the grave so they don't have as strong of a recovery play next turn.
