Kyng
Definitely not the first time this has happened, definitely not going to be the last. That's why I've detached myself from such affairs that realistically wouldn't affect me in one way or another. Still a shame, regardless.
Halubaris Maphotika
A satirical cartoon designed to offend is as bad as war criminals and terrorists who actually kill people. kk Also why is this guy looking at Charlie Hebdo? Like really, what in God's name was he expecting?
Ryusei the Morning Star
Saterizing an age old dude, sure. Happens all the time to Jesus, Moses and Hindu gods. Making light of an innocent child's death? That's cruelty. If they had balls, they should have mocked Daesh leadership or somone who is truely evil, not a helpless child I cannot stand for this. That being said, freedom of speech, they can print it sure, I just personally find it distasteful

Like really, what in God's name was he expecting?Hypocrisy runs wild when it comes to the freedoms of speech. Some cartoonists mocked the incident and those same people who where all "hell yea, freedom of speech", where upset. I guess satire knows little bounds. Also, this is what sjws use in their arguments of banning FoS.Basically giving everyone else a bad name, so to speak.

ihop
I would like to see this image to fully understand. You don't need to speak French to know what's going on here. I find the way Charlie Hebdo have been going at Aylan Kurdi pretty abhorrent and I really don't think a comic like this is something that should be published. I don't want to open the whole can of worms regarding freedom of speech but people were saying it after the attacks and I'll reiterate that just because you're legally able to say or write something doesn't mean you should. To be honest I find Charlie Hebdo a pretty noxious organisation in general, not that they deserved what happened to them but certainly a comic like this is in very bad taste. Je ne suis pas Charlie. Ryusei the Morning Star
I think telling people what they should or should not say is a dangerous path to go down. Is this cartoon cruel? Sure. But you're opening a can of toxic works by tying morals into this

Like really, what in God's name was he expecting? It could well be worse. It aims to justify the death of a 3-year old child and by extension the killing of others on the grounds of their ethnicity. Such characterizations are the fuel of every genocide.
Tentacruel
funk them. I can say that cause freedom of speech. It could well be worse. Hitler didn't rise to power overnight.
Makο
So, if google translate is accurate, this comic is basically saying "If this Syrian hadn't drowned as a child, he would've grown up to be a molester anyway." That's pretty not cool of him. I understand a lot of the sentiments currently going on in Europe, but at least leave the children out of this. Halubaris Maphotika
It could well be worse. It aims to justify the death of a 3-year old child and by extension the killing of others on the grounds of their ethnicity. Such characterizations are the fuel of every genocide. It's not meant to justify anything. Charlie Hebdo doesn't actually believe he would have become a molester. In fact, it is meant to poke fun at those who WOULD justify his death on the stereotypical ground that all the migrants are rapists. They are presenting a viewpoint held and are presenting it in a vile way to show how evil the belief really is.
~ P O L A R I S ~
^I like your optimism, but it's certainly not what Charlie Hebdo's track record would suggest.
Halubaris Maphotika
^I like your optimism, but it's certainly not what Charlie Hebdo's track record would suggest. Of course their track record doesn't suggest it. They present evil through the lens of their comics. They say the things that many people believe but are too afraid to say. You want to know who really is exposing racism in France? These f*ckers.
