Here is my latest sig on GIMP, what do you think of it? :?

Hmm... it's ok.

But you could of made the base color a little more yellowish to match Gaara. You know the sand thing. You could of added some misty brushes to make it more realistic as well.

It's pretty good though. ^_^

No offense but I have to say this is a fail from me. Since when does BLUE even fit with Gaara's theme, if I was to ignore the colors used...then I'd have to go with what 72 said.

That red text? That's ****ing asking for it.

 

Start with the render, then do the background. The background should be forced to match the render, not the other way around. The colors on this look bad. Also, your cut is REALLY scratchy, which makes it look ugly.

 

Bevelling and embossing borders is a bad idea, always.

 

Lacks flow. And balance.

 

The focal isn't very grabbing, or existent.

You start from a background and you place the render.. via Open Layer As.. O..O

I dont know how to do that, I only know how to make the bg then put the render on =/

Don't you use layers? =/

If you do you should be able to place the render, then create the bg while clicking on the bg and not the render.

After that you can adjust the bg with the render, such as colors and effects.. =/

If you didn't do your sigs like this, how did you make that guitar sig in your sig? XD

Yes, most of my banners I dont add layers, but I'am starting =/

lol slash the real question he is HOW do u do graphics with out layers i never thought that was possible O.o normaly my graphics are 10+ layers i dont see how u can do it in 1 lol.

It's very easy to do signatures in 1 layer, they just fail that way.
