Destiny Hero - Diamond Dude

LORE:

Once per turn: You can reveal the top card of your Deck, and if it is a Normal Spell Card, send it to the Graveyard, otherwise place it on the bottom of your Deck. During the Main Phase of your next turn, you can activate the effect of that Spell Card in your Graveyard (even if you no longer control this face-up card).

I wish I still had my copy of this card. Regardless: I remembered how by utilizing its effect to send Destiny Draw, you didn't have to discard to do so. So that got me thinking: How far could I push this card's effect? On YGO PRO, I tested it out with Final Destiny, Ojama Delta Hurricane!!, Short Circuit, Golden Bamboo Sword, Boon of the Meklord Emperor, The Warrior Returning Alive, Mask Charge, and A Hero Lives; all of them worked (and without cost or condition required by the card). Granted, this may not be accurate, but Destiny Hero or not, this card's effect is pretty versatile (Some of you might already know, but this was something I recently discovered on my own).

Diamond Dude Turbo is pretty freaking cool, and this card, as you said, is no slouch on its own either. There are a lot of hard to execute Normal Spells you can pull off with this things, and quite a few of them are actually worth it.

...now we just need a Normal Trap variant...

I personally really like this card in conjunction with Ties of the Brethren and Instant Fusion. Though they don't have unbearably heavy costs, I prefer to run cards that don't end up completely dead if drawn.

In any case, I enjoyed playing a DDturbo deck with this + the PlagueMalicious engine coupled with Summoner Monk to ditch dead spells. The deck practically built itself!

I love this guy, pulling spell effects without paying for the cost feels damn amazing. Made a DED-turbo deck that kinda utilizes his effect through 3 copies of Destiny Draw and that level 8 discard draw 2 card. It wasn't too consistent but it was fun to pull off stuff with it.

Works well with A Hero Lives and Elemental Hero - Shadow Mist, too!

I should test this out with Ties of the Brethren.

There was a time, however short, where Soul Charge and Instant Fusion were both at three in OCG. Good funking times
