No real original choices here, but some advise here would be very appreciated. As i's IRL, I can't afford things like Solemn Strike.

Heavy Graveyard hate. I also have no idea what's necessarily good against pendulums since I know they're going to be a driving force (Besides Typhoon the trap, but that's $10), so I'd be happy to perhaps replace the valleys with some hate against them.

The only deck that would be hurt by Necrovalley would be Kozmo. Pendulums are hurt by Macro though(in case you didn't know, they are still banished). Might I recommend some of the following?

 

Divine Wind of Mist Valley

Chicken Game

Lose 1 Turn

 

Also, why no Shinchu L? Can't afford it or some other reason? Misak is also pretty kewl.

Divine wind I didn't like when testing it in an earlier build.

 

Chicken Game seems...eh. I feel like Upstart would benefit me more. Or soemthing of that nature.

 

L1T is one of the cards I'm going to be searching for the most when I can. I know it's an amazing card for Yosens, but it is a bit pricey.

 

Sinchu L is left out because multiple people who know more about the deck told me I didn't need it at this time. I do have 2 copies since I do like it, so if anything stands out to take out besides valley, I can add a couple in.

I really dislike Yosen Training Grounds; you will not open up a stacked Yosenju hand that often, and Training Grounds will always take at least 1 turn to even acquire a +0 off of it. The +300 buff is nice though, but it really isn't that warranted when there is Daibak.

 

In the Extra, try to get 2 Cowboys, the 1600 seals the deal when pushing for OTKS.

 

Necrovalley is extremely format-dependent; Monarchs and Kozmo are affected by it, but PePe do not care.

I agree on the battle traps, so much otk potential this format; Mirror Force does look to be the best bet (since the Water Mirror Force isn't out yet), and Quaking could be alright if you catch a full board and are able to poke with 2 directly, but that being said, most of the decks do run something that can be tribute summoned. But yeah, ultimately, you have the four limited traps as protection, if you're not able to win a in turn or two, they may be able to swarm pretty fast

Once/If I get L1T (at least 2) I might replace Training grounds for them.
