You can only use this effect of "Junk Changer" once per turn.

 

I had overlooked this card before, but I'm not so sure I should have. Much like Death the Mourning Wind, this is a tuner who has 3 levels of range. In this case, 2, 3, and 4.

 

Now, what's notable is its Attribute: EARTH. This means it can make Nat Beast and Meliae. Its type isn't bad, but also not as good now that RotA is limited. And he can make other good monsters, like Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon or Ignister with a level 4 Pendulum.

 

TCG doesn't get it until March, and its final release in the OCG is the same time, but the overall value remains.

Hopefully we get Stardust Assault Warrior soon because this guy + a LV3 makes Crystal Wing. Via SAW of course.

My issue with this thing is the same as with the vast majority of Tuners: It can't Special Summon itself.

 

However, Pendulums and stuff are a thing, and I can probably find a spot for it in my Warrior Monster Mash deck, 'cause you never know when the level modulation could come in handy.

 

...in fact, the Level modulation is probably the best thing about it. With a Level 4 non-tuner, you could make a Lv 6, 7, or 8 Synchro, or even go into an R4. Not bad at all.

Are you implying that cards like Trident Warrior are actually good?

 

See, the reason why I wish we had more self-summoning tuners is because non-tuners that summon Tuners can be a dead draw depending on what you have in your deck and such. As such, I like Yuki Usagi more than Veiler because E-Tele is a thing.

Also, I didn't just mean non-Tuners that summon Tuners, but non-Tuners that self-SS, such as Assault Halberd.

The Fabled Cerburrel and The Fabled Chawa have effects to Summon themselves.

Trident Warrior at least has potential. Its pretty funny.

It's pretty great as a reasoning target for burgesstoma as it's essentially a level 2 monster, you just have increased the odds of successfully boarding a monster due to level variation

Hum. With either this guy or Junk Servant or Junk Forward, you can pull up some mean synchros, from lvl 5 to 10... Which is nice. Plus Earth for Naturias.
