IQuitDolphin
The point of this thread is to create or gather a bunch of deck ideas that are competitive, interesting, and/or fun, and then, if possible, build it into an actual deck profile. People can then use these ideas/decks as an inspirational resource or starting point for people who are stuck. It might also help alleviate the "first deck" issue that many beginners have, and is a good "next step" after reading the basic deck building tutorial. I do not know if this will be successful or not, but I do believe the idea is interesting and is an easy way to quickly jot down any interesting ideas you have while also helping the community. Anybody interested? ----- http://ycm-ideas-archive.pen.io/
Dova
Let me say that I'm not the best at Deck-building. I really wanted to make a deck to lock your opponent's turn, with cards such as Terminal World, Time Eater, that Immortal Dolphin, etc. That's my idea for the record. Eddie McBean
To be honest, I'm with Dova in this regard: my deck-building skills are horrendous. I managed to lose to a level 2 water deck with a personalized C Gimmick puppet deck... just... just wow. will post something like A battle lockdown deck with Swords of Revealing Light, Cage, back to square ones and so on
Bringerofcake
For the skip everything.dek idea, why not use a combination of kaiju and moon mirror shield with great long nose/timeater/amorphector to control the field while skipping phases? Well, I had an idea for Miracle Flipper, but Moon Mirror also works, and I used that field which allows you to Tribute Summon in return for paying LP in the combination with Time Eater and the Dolphin Earthbound Immortal. shadowsapex
Don Thousand.dek (or Admiration of the Thousands OTK) Use Mega Zaborg to send 8 Rank 4s to the graveyard (hope your opponent plays at least 1 Rank 4 because if they don't, your OTK fails right off the bat), then use RUM Admiration of the Thousands to overlay ALL the Rank 4s in the graveyards (maybe keep a couple in there like Heartlandraco or Rhongomyniad) for Silent Honor Dark (or any other C10X, but I chose 101 because it can attach more materials, and we're looking to break records here), steal a monster, then end your turn and pray C101 survives because Admiration restricts your special summoning.Next turn, rank up C101 to Barian Hope. Optimally, at this point, it should have 19 materials (16 from Zaborg, 2 from 101's effect both turns, and 101 itself). If you left Heartlandraco in the grave, it's 18. Copy Heartlandraco's effect, detach 1, and attack your opponent directly.Congratulations, you just OTK'd your opponent twice over! For enough effort to pull off two actual OTKs... I need to update it, but that's the rough of it. Step-By Step instruction for lock:1.) Summon Timeater, somehow. Make sure opponent has 2 open monster slots, or something weaker than 1900.2.) Protect it for a turn if NSd3.) Activate Black Garden4.) Summon Level eater using Timeater's level. Rose Token on opp's field from this5.) Tribute Level eater for Great Long Nose. 950 ATK, another rose token on field.6.) Kill Rose tokens with Timeater (1000) and GLN (150).7.) SUmmon Level eater off GLN. Another Rose Token.8.) GLN Return to hand.9.) Battle Phase and Main Phase 1 are both skipped, so Opponent's turn is DP > SP > EP10.) Repeat from step 5. Vulnerable to Quick Effects already on field/grave, Quick Effects in hand, and Quick-Play spells.

Airride
Actually, it's DP»SP»MP2»EPThat's where Terminal World comes inNope. Can't enter MP2 if you don't enter BP. Timeater + Miracle Flipper + Terminal world is decent, but if your opponent has anything at 1900+ then you lose that lock.

Catterjune
Crystal Board! <3(Crystal Beasts + Destiny Board) On a more serious note, I've been a big fan of Karakuri, featureing Black and White Wave. Very easy to pull off big moves with surprisingly little set up.
