Okay waiting for this:

The lore around these cards is cool, but NO! the whole archetype is . . . "mwuahahaha! you cant play ygo!" @#%$%!

I'm curious if this is become rogue or even meta?

cannot activate spell/trap effects? does that mean it only stop effects or it also stop activation? because if its the latter it can be quite devastating....

 

still these looks interesting, can lock out up to 2 mechanic (1 per PZone) at once, and the tribute cost is recurrable by pendulum, their s/t support doesnt too bad as well, definitely worth a try

Pretty sure it's the same as Majesty's Fiend, so yes doesn't prevent continuous effects from running wild.

With all these floodgate cards, I wonder if anyone's ever considered that you can only block two things at a time at the most, because them's be the pendulum effects. For instance, they could hit spells and traps, but if you have good strengths for maindeck monsters (everyone should have their own "Machina Fortress"), then you can still use their effects and ram down their monsters.

 

At worst, you can do a total lockdown of all activated effects using Royal Decree with the Spell and Monster dudes, but that stops your own Amorphage trap and if your opponent is running something in the maindeck with at least 2000 ATK, you'll be in a bit of trouble.

 

Before anyone overreacts about "Can't play YGO"; just remember that there are still weaknesses to this deck. Will it frustrate casual players as a troll deck? Probably. Will competitive or even smart casual players have a problem with them? I doubt it. They won't be impossible. It'll be like PSYFrames or Graydle: Not hard to beat; just not fun to play against.
