Mind Crush

I mean, it should trigger Shaddolls.

Considering how Magicians and PePe search a shitton, this card should still be good, but if you don't go first, this card loses value since Magicians already did all the sheet they wanted to.

What I mean by triggering Shaddolls is that I'm wondering whether or not the random discard is an actual effect or a cost. If it's the former, Shaddolls should probably be running this.

But yeah, this is a GREAT card against PePe. funk you too, Skullcrobat.

This card is still playable now, but not has powerful as it was in the previous meta.

If you used this against Nekroz, forcing them to ditch Unicore/Trishula meant gg if they have no other resources. Even if it only crippled it a bit, it saved you that turn from being ROFLstomped real bad. To some degree, using this against Qlis would stop Towers Turbo or the stun to some degree too if you called Towers or Disk.

Against the current meta though, it does stop Skullcrobat Joker, but it now varies what the opponent did or is yet to do in the turn, because Pepe can muster consistency easily and can be highly flexible. And some points, while it does shut off Joker, if your opponent does something else like a Luster + Plushfire Combo then it doesn't even matter to them. Mind Crushing anything else in Pepe seems a bit of minor damage to them too, since Performages float, and Mind Crushing Jigabytes just slow their combos. Magicians can get hurt in some ways but again, knowing their resourcefulness, they can evade it since Wisdom-Eye is a thing. The only deck that Mind Crush can fully work on would probably be Kozmo. If you predict that they have an added Kozmo in hand like Dark Destroyer, if they banish as cost, you can call Crush on the spaceship and leave them open.

In general though, the Pendulum meta is more significant than Kozmos, and I think that it now varies how Mind Crush will be effective because your opponent can out-maneuver a Crush, whereas last format calling the right card meant gg. Still isn't that bad though since you can look at opponent's hand at least.
