It's overbalanced, IMO. AFAIK, the main deal-breaker of Hound is that its grave effect doesn't lead to a +1 as the other Shaddolls do.

 

Wavering Eyes
Trap Card
Type: Normal
Destroy as many cards in each player's Pendulum Zones as possible, then apply these effects, in sequence, depending on the number of cards destroyed by this effect. You can only activate 1 "Wavering Eyes" per turn.
● 1 or more: Inflict 500 damage to your opponent.
● 2 or more: You can add 1 face-up Pendulum Monster from your Extra Deck to your hand.
● 3 or more: You can destroy 1 face-up card on the field.
● 4: You can Set 1 "Wavering Eyes" directly from your Deck.

 

Basically dropped a big nerf on the card. It is still capable of doing heavy damage and big plays by destroying scales on both sides, but now you have to wait a turn for it, and the effects #2 and #3 were weakened.

It now looks for all ED monsters not just synchros, doesn't require you to have an empty field, and lets you rez Thor twice not just once.

Made it optional becuz why not, made it trigger of non-battle destruction, and gave the tokens some protection (albeit not much)

You can only use this effect of "Garmr of the Nordic Beasts" once per turn.

 

Turned it into a Tuner for Synchro plays, improved its original effect, and added a self-summoning effect to raise the ceiling of Nordics.

When this monster is Normal Summoned, you can Set 1 "Gleipnir, the Fetters of Fenrir" from your Deck or Graveyard. At the start of the Damage Step, If this monster battles your opponent's monster, except a Level 6 or higher monster: You can return that opposing monster to the hand.

 

Now it grabs your search Trap, and it hits every single Link and Xyz in the game. Oh, also, it hits Level 5 monsters now.

EARTH - Level 1 - Warrior/Tuner/Effect - 100/1000

During the turn this monster is Normal or Special Summoned, you can Normal Summon 1 "Nordic" monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set (you can only gain this effect once per turn). If this face-up card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can add 1 "Nordic" card from your Graveyard to your hand.

 

Loops for Synchro plays, a Tuner for Loki, just all the plus.

(Change here; no longer need to banish to summon, also Token is restricted to the Aesir gods [and subsequently, said upgrade]. Also only one Token, but frankly, Nordics need the early game to hurry up. Also can't complain about free Link 2s, right?)

If this card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 Rank 6 or lower WATER Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck, then attach any Xyz Materials in the Graveyard that were attached to this card to that Special Summoned monster as Xyz Material. You can only use this effect of "Number 4: Stealth Kragen" once per turn.

 

(Requires a detach to blow up stuff as opposed to being free removal, but it can hit non-WATERs; also floats into another WATER Xyz if it gets killed. Not exactly an immortality effect, but...)

Once during either player's turn, you can select 2 card Types (Monster, Spell, or Trap): This monster is unaffected by the effects of cards of the selected Type until the end of the turn. During the End Phase, if this face-up card on the field was destroyed, you can banish 1 "Nordic" monster from your Graveyard to Special Summon this monster from your Graveyard. When this monster is Special Summoned by its own effect, you can draw 1 card, and if that card is a "Nordic" card, or a card that mentions a "Nordic" or "Aesir" card in its card text, you can draw 1 additional card.

 

Notable changes:

● Doesn't need 3 mats

●Its protection lets you choose what you're immune to, and it's a Quick Effect.

●Can revive itself using any Nordic monster, instead of just Ascendant Tuners, befitting of Odin's callous nature.

●If you draw Nordic or Aesir support when it revives itself, you get a second draw.

I wasn't really sure what to do but here's an attempt.

 

Predaplant Moray Nepenthes

Plant/Effect

Monsters your opponent controls loses 200 ATK for each Predator Counter on the field. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can equip that monster to this card. Once per turn: You can target 1 Monster Card equipped to this card by this card's effect; destroy it, and if you do, gain LP equal to its original ATK.

1600/1000

 

 

Weakens opponents instead of strengthening itself so your other monsters can get more benefit from playing it. Wasn't sure what else to do to it.

If this card was Synchro Summoned using a Speedroid monster : this card is considered as a Tuner monster, and you can decrease it's level by 1.

At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a Special Summoned monster : double this card's current ATK until the end of the Damage Step.

If this card is destroyed or used as a Synchro Material for a "Speedroid" monster and sent to the GY, you can Special Summon one of this card's Synchro Materials who are in the GY.

 

Now enhances Synchro plays and allows Yugo.dek to go even faster / salvage stuff when Puzzle gets destroyed. Also enhanced flavor by playing up the puzzle part.

You didn't buff the useless Batteryman C effect . . . or give it any baseline ability to make up for the fact that you're not likely to Tribute the OG Batterymen. What a ripoff.

Now it's not a valid Instant Fusion target, and reviving it doesn't proc its effect.
