rules

 

1.make a set of minium of 3 and a max of 5 cards

2.must focus on defensive tactics

3. form the BEST defensive team(can be magic trap , monster)

4. you must at least have 1 monster 1 magic and 1 trap the other 2 if you want to have 5 you may do with how you like

winner recieves 1 rep if its good i'll add on 5 points

 

ends when 3 poeple have entered

Are you sure? Because I would otherwise reserve an entry. Just because no one posts in what? 6 hours? doesn't mean you end the contest. It's SUMMER BREAK. People are hanging with friends all day. Just wait and someone is bound to enter.

 

If you want this closed, consider it done. Otherwise, entry reserved.

Cards 3 and 4 are overpowered, althought extremely cool. Just sacrificing 500 point to negate all battle damage for the rest of the duel (since your other cards prevent your Traps from being destroyed). I would add a continuous requirement, something simple like a discard a card or tribute a monster... something that would give a downfall for the user.

 

The other one is just broken. Think about all the high level monster that are already a challenged to defeat. Now add this card, and your only defense has become uneffective. Look at it from the opponent's perspective. I know its hard, but balance comes fom thinking like your opponent and figuring out how to beat your own card. If you can do that, and still be able to keep up a duel, then your card is fine. Right now, get a medium level monster, like 2000, and suddenly its given they have 4 turns to figure it out.

 

Other than that, your cards are cool.

card 3 is almost exactly the same as a few real cards... ever heard of spirit barrior or clock tower prision?

 

the only difference is you need to pay 500 instead of waiting 2 turns or having a monster out...

 

 

card four is the equivelent of astryl barrier... They have the exact same effect!!! i just worded it differently!!! This is a real strategy... i just remade it!!!

u were right about the 4th... i just worded it wrong... forgot to put "attack against ur monsters"... i fixed it...

 

and there are real cards that can protect trap cards... (example: fake trap) It isnt any more overpowered than using a card which protects fieldspells when you have clocktower prision out...

 

and it is possible to beat... destroy all counters. destroy monster. destroy either trap. (counter removal card and 2 rejeki break. not bad)

Ok, I have to apologize about card 4.. the way it was worded did seem like you were allowing any of your own monsters to attack directly.

 

Now that I know what you meant, it makes perfect sense. You protect your own monsters by taking the attack, however with the 3rd card in play... any and all damage is zero. Nice one.
