New "Kaiju" cards

Recommended Posts

Well atm, in TCG they're already picked often enough, either as a removal engine of sort for decks, or as a deck on their own + some engines like Graydle.

Spell would change a lot of their ballgame. A Kaiju + it is an out to almost any field in the game while giving you a 3300 beater. CDI/Raff? Dead. Kozmo Ship? Dead. Avian/Buttstallion? Dead.

That's just TCG being dumb Armz

But, set Ring of Destruction, play spell, pop the Kaiju or as Nai mentioned have a Jew die to 3300'to the face. Otk.dek

Well, hes not exactly wrong about This card being broken. I mean, it easily fuels Waterfront because it gives Kaijus another 3 Dark Holes to blow up things/put counters on Waterfront/etc and it also fuels plays involving the Kaijus themselves(depending on who you Summon to whichever side of the field), and it can then go and search more Kaijus later on. IE, the card is purely advantage.

The catch, however, is that it's paired with Kaijus and you are basically denying your in-hand Kaijus of there best feature; The ability to replace opponent's monsters with themselves by literally bypassing damn near all forms of protection and/or floating effects said oponent's monster(s) may have. Add to it, if you destroy monsters that have effects when destroyed/etc, you trigger them in the process, and that might not always result in the best outcome for you.

I mean, it's not like you would exactly care about those sorts of things in the first place, seeing as how the card is a playmaker by itself and would get the ball rolling for your Deck, but still.

....

Basically it's like Heraldry Reborn/Sylvan Charity/Snake Rain/UA Contract/etc; It's a broken card for what it can do, but it's tied to a set of cards that will ultimately hold it back.

Well dark holes isn't broken in my opinion. Throw in the themed nature and it's quite balanced as you noted.

These kinda cards are needed in the game anymore because Konami keeps making design cancers like Magnus and Towers that just will not be removed

Funny Ophion stops them still though haha

Wow! The New "Kaiju" cards are amazing!

- Gadarla: A Hybrid of Battra and Mothra, and it has a useful effect by halving all other monsters ATK (which represents it weakens the enemy Kaiju with its poison scales).

- Jizukiru: The only Level 10 Kaiju monster, with a powerful 3300 ATK, and it's effect was good too. Negate any cards that target only 1 card and pops 1 card on the field.

- Spell Card: One of the amazing Kaiju support they ever released, it pops all of the annoying monsters on the field, and brings out 2 Kaijus to each side of the field, forcing them to battle. But it makes powerful Kaijus like Jizukiru, Radian, and/or Gameciel a lot quicker. This really makes the opponent mad easily LOL

Yeah, but still really important.

Point being, they worked fine without it for the longest time, with waterfront you can run sacred Phoenix as well. KaijuKings might be a legitimate deck, likely more agressive than Greju, maybe a little more fragile likewise. I wish Greyju would synchro and XYZ more though :/

Deck can tech some tuners, I forgot what but it's a thing apparently.
