[News] Clash of Rivalries

Well, it's about that time that the new pack arrive, so I suppose first of all things I should introduce the new set:

With that out of the way I have a good amount of announcements to bring along:

1. Within the coming days or week, a secret message will be hidden somewhere along the forum. Finding said hidden message will unlock you the first Hidden Shop, where packs only available in such will be available. This could means sequels to previous packs, or packs geared around new themes. Both of course include cards only available in such, and will not be made available until much later.
2. Coming very soon along 2099 is the first ever tournament, which will of course be hosted by our own Tournament Manager and Host, Striker. The thread for this will go up on January 3rd, and it will commerce on January 17th, which will give you plenty of time to prepare your Decks, discuss potential possibilities for the format, and determine your Side Deck. I shall have a thread dedicating to assisting such before then as well
3. More than likely right before or shortly after the tournament begins, the first 2099 Boss Battle event will take place, gearing towards Imaginary Plane Death Dragon and Imaginary Plane Breaker Dragon. Defeating said boss battle Deck, and perhaps with the possibility of following a condition yet to be told, will result in the obtaining of said cards amongst other possible rewards. More details to be revealed soon!
4. For some more recent news, those whose cards made it to CORR will receive PP equal to half their worth of rarity in the pack in PP

And while we are at it, while some of these are repeats, an update on the coming sets:

 

January 9th - Release of "Beginnings and Revelations 2", "Blackened Revelations 2", and "Eternal Darkness"

Continuing the pattern of releases last month follows the release of the 2nd packs in the Beginnings and Revelations and Blackened Revelations packs, in addition to the side pack Eternal Darkness.

Beginnings and Revelations 2 reveals further TCG imports, directing a focus on higher Level monsters, high presence bosses, and higher Rank Xyz. In addition to a short stint of WATER and Pendulum Monster related imports, Machine, Fusion, and LIGHT related imports will be very present in this pack.

Blackened Revelations 2 reveals further brand new cards, continuing support to cards and themes reveled upon in Beginnings and Revelations. WATER and LIGHT support will be prominent alongside Fusion, Ritual, and Pendulum helpings. Additional outings for Zombies, Fiends, and the introduction to support for Machines and Thunder will also be of note throughout this pack.

Eternal Darkness follows the release of Eternal Light arrives the bane of the shadows and darkness. Powerful DARK monsters and support devours the bones of this set, deriving themes that combine TCG imports, reprints of 2099 singles, and brand new cards that ensnare the shadows of this set.

 

January 26th - Release of "Red Jewels", "Angelic Ascent", and "Fiendish Empire"

Following the release of Clash of Rivalries will be Red Jewels, a Mid-Cycle set with the intentions of shaking the competitive grounds of 2099! Several relevant and anticipated Extra Deck monsters, powerful Spells, and snapping Traps that cover TCG imports, 2099 singles, and brand new cards exclusive to this pack.

Angelic Ascent and Fiendish Empire begin a new theme of packs dedicated to supporting specific Types, Fairy and Fiend respectively. Powerful new tools and support will lead said Type into new heights, each with their own set of powerful generics, and even an archetype to afit indirect support to each of their sides. Will you join in the clash between good and evil?

 

February 9th - Release of "Beginnings and Revelations 3", "Blackened Revelations 3", and "Eternal Seas"

 

February 26th - Release of "Mayhemic Machinery" and "Collision Course"
