The Nyx Avatar
Now here's an archetype I let sit dormant for a long time. I started at least half a year ago, and didn't add on to it or post it since. [spoiler=Show Monster Cards] LORE:"I do not know of my origin, or of my intended purpose. However, I will continue to serve Kagehime as promised." LORE:When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Kagehime" monster from your hand. Once per turn, you can target 1 "Kagehime" monster you control; increase or decrease its Level by 1 until the End Phase. LORE:Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. When a "Kagehime" monster you control is destroyed (either by battle or by card effect), you can Special Summon this card from your hand. LORE:When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Kagehime" monster from your Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, negate the effects of all Level/Rank 3 or higher LIGHT monsters. LORE:While you control a face-up "Kagehime" monster with a different name, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn: You can pay 500 Life Points; destroy 1 card on the field. LORE:When you Normal Summon a DARK Warrior-Type monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand; this card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. LORE:Once per turn: You can reveal the top 3 cards of your Deck; Special Summon 1 "Kagehime" monster among them and return the the other cards to the top of the Deck in any order. If your opponent would add a card from their Deck by a card effect, it is banished instead. LORE:While you control a "Kageghime" card: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you control a face-up "Kagehime" Synchro Monster: You can decrease that card's Level by up to 4. When [spoiler=Show Spell Cards] LORE:When your opponent Special Summons a monster, you can Tribute 1 "Kagehime" monster you control; banish 1 card your opponent controls. When this card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect: You can target 1 monster on the field; increase or decrease its Level by 1. LORE:Banish 1 "Kagehime" monster you control to target 1 monster your opponent controls; take control of it. LORE:Once per turn, you can activate 1 of the following effects:● Shuffle 1 of your banished "Kagehime" monsters into your Deck; draw 1 card.● Tribute 1 "Kagehime" monster to target 1 card on the field; banish it.● Target 1 "Kagehime" monster on the field; increase or decrease its Level by 1. LORE:If a "Kagehime" card would be sent to the Graveyard, you can banish it instead. Any Spell/Trap Card that would be sent to your opponent's Graveyard is banished instead. LORE:Equip only to a DARK Warrior-Type monster. The equipped monster gains 800 ATK and is unaffected by your opponent's Effect Monster's effects. When this card leaves the field: You can add 1 of your banished DARK Warrior-Type monsters to your hand. Saiba Aisu
I really love the fact that the Kagehime have Spanish names related to weapons or their profession, that's a pretty cool idea, combining Japanese- and Spanish-language influences. The cards themselves seem pretty solid: I'm particularly a big fan of the 'banish 1 Kagehime monster you control' mechanic in order to activate card effects, it isn't something that has been used a lot before. The Synchro Monsters all seem very solid; however, Segador might be a bit overpowered? The ability to negate ANY targeting effect as many times per turn for only 800 LP each time seems a bit much to me, but who knows... Keep up the good work! Though, Kagehime Segador's effect specifies with targeting, you can still use non-targeting removal such as Dark Hole, Raigeki, and Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier. Also, I edit Kagehime Arsenal's effect to card effects.
