It was night out as the portly figure crept across the metal catwalk. Moving with shocking balance for one of his bulk, the figure tiptoed silently to the window of the abandoned factory. He pried open the window and hopped inside, where a menacing red glow illuminated his yellow clothes.

Chuckling slightly, Wario waddled over to a capsule in the center of the room. He reached into the cloth bag slung over his shoulder and revealed something akin to a piece of burning charcoal. With an evil cackle, the thief put the charcoal-like metal inside the capsule and closed it. Soon afterwards, a burst of flame illuminated the cylindrical pod. Wario laughed maniacally.

 

"Where's the spiky turtle? Bowser?" he asked himself as the flames died down into smoke. "I thought he'd be interested in meeting this ultimate evildoer. Ah, well, more for me," he grinned, dropping to one knee, though the difference in height was negligible. A clawed hand shot out of the pod...

 

Meanwhile, the Mushroom Kingdom was its normal, cheery self without Bowser. That is, except for one, pitch-black bird with another of the metallic shards in its beak. It was whistling through the air towards the castle, where Princess Peach lay within.

The raven dropped the seemingly burning metal into Peach's glove. Princess Toadstool regarded it curiously, turning it over in her hand until she gasped in horror. A single, evil-looking eye was staring malevolently back at her.

 

Even worse was the heavy sound of propeller blades whipping through the air. Peach didn't even need to look up to know that she had to get away. Bowser's roar confirmed it: "Fork over the shard and we'll avoid making this archtypical!"

Terrified, the princess scurried away to the well-known building that was headquarters of Mario & Luigi Plumbing Services, the Koopa King in hot pursuit.

[Careless Whisper]

Sprinting like a blue blur on his favorite track in the world, Sonic the Hedgehog was having the time of his life, again. The wind rushed past his ears, his eyes never blinking dispite the cold chill of the heavy breeze winding against them.

 

"You cannot hope to beat me" the telepathic Pokemon known as Mewtwo acknoledged his foe as he jumped into the air and hovered above Lucario and stared down at him.

-"You use cheap tricks to get what you want. Why don't you come down and fight without your telepathy." Lucario sounded off his threat, he then jumped to Mewtwo's level and thrusted his very-brightly glowing hand to Mewtwo's direction, but only to see that his target vanished and reappeared behind him and sent him hurtling to the ground.

King Dedede yawned as he reached across his spacious throne. Kirby hasn't bothered him in months, and he was very bored. He decided to take a short walk around his garden just for a change of pace. He paused as he surveyed a strange metal shard in his display box. He found it while exploring the Wispy Woods and was very proud of it. He walked into his garden only to find a strange little man in a helmet plucking some of his vegetables. Roaring in anger, King Dedede chased the little man out of his garden and through the Wispy Woods.

 

Captain Olimar's ship had crash landed in this strange planet full of plants. Finding it packed full with pikmin, Olimar plucked them out of the ground, hoping that he could find some repairs to his ship. Suddenly a big penguin monster roared after him, and Olimar had no choice but to run. Eventually the penguin had him cornered on a tree stump. ``Give me back what you stole from me!'' King Dedede roared in outrage. Olimar cowered in fear. ``I haven't stolen anything!'' the explorer protested. ``I was just looking for repairs for my ship!'' he said. At that Dedede relaxed a little. ```Well, you could have just asked.'' he grumbled. Then his eyes lit up. ``Say, how about you come over to my castle and explain everything. I'll even show you this magnificent metal shard that I found in Wispy Woods!'' King Dedede said, for he was longing for some company of other than some Waddle Dees and wanted to show off his shard.

Pit looks down from the clouds of heaven, he looks at his lord and shakes his head, it is not time for him to join yet.

 

Ike walks into this world through a portal. He looks around and sighs. He mutters to himself, "not again", and goes to work and fighting.

 

Metaknight's ship looms into view. The ships autocannon sees Ike and fires. Ike jumps out of the way at the last second and flees to another world.

The ghostly being's eyes flashed the color of burning coals as he laid his eyes on the shard he needed. His urge to charge into the clearing was immense, but he knew he could not. The evil blade willed it. Stroking the phantom replica of Soul Edge, Cervantes de Leon tailed the king and his new acquaintance towards DeDeDe's castle.

"Give me the shard!" the Dread Pirate roared, aiming Nirvana's pistol half at DeDeDe. "Give it to me!" His eyes reflected his hunger.

[Kazerak]

An eerie wind wound its way across the land, carrying with it a familiar aura, but not a welcomed one. Talim looked to the horizon where the wind was blowing from, knowing that it was calling for her help again. The cursed sword was trying to resurrect itself again, would it never stay dead. Sighing, Talim started out in the direction the wind was blowing, allowing it to be her guide again. She was needed again, and she would not ignore the worlds' cry for help.

 

 

Pikachu was sniffing around in the Pokemon Stadium when he spotted something shimmering in the stands. He quick attacked over to it and sniffed it a bit. It smelled foul, but somehow enticing. He prodded it with his tail a few times, and then picked it up, attempting to inspect it further. Finding nothing outwardly dangerous about it, he took it and sat down back in the stadiums center, examining it further

Bowser was making progress in the chase after Peach. Leaping out of the Clown Car, the Koopa King whirled forward on his shell, failing to notice the purple gem he knocked into the air. A demonic being in the Pokémon Stadium, however, did.

 

"It barely even matters if he gets the shard now," Nightmare murmured, flexing his claw and firing a laser at the jewel.

Just as Nightmare predicted, the gem began to generate energy around it. Soon, a Pokémon had been fully formed - and Nightmares involvement was completely unknown.

Immediately, Deoxys shifted to Attack form and fired a laser from the amethyst that had formed it, straight at Pikachu and the shard it was examining.

[Careless Whisper]

Lucario hit the ground many time, but he still did not give up his continuous strikes against Mewtwo.

-"How can you even hope to defeat me. Why do you continue to fight me, your purpose is not to fight, it is to observe." Mewtwo claimed as he watched Lucario and doged and countered all of Lucario's furies. "Give it up. It's pointless."

-"Maybe you should stop talking about purpose." And Lucario smiled slyly, his palms started to glow brighter. "And pay more attention to your opponent rather than talk about purpose." And Lucario shot a large Aura Sphere at Mewtwo. That shot went too fast for Mewtwo to see it coming and it hit him square in the chest and sent him plummeting into a rocky wall. Mewtwo slowly recovered and eyed Lucario with intensity.

Then, simultaniously, both Lucario and Mewtwo began to charge up, Mewtwo readying a Shadow Ball, while Lucario, powered with his Aura, charged an Aura Sphere.

Then they both fired their attacks at the same time. Both blasts traveled at Great Speeds, but inbetween them. A swordsman appeared out of some kind of vortex.

Pikachu was caught by surprise and was hit hard, dropping the shard as he skidded backwards a bit. Shaking off the attack, Pikachu got back to his feet and growled angrily at his attackers "Pikaaa pika pika!? Pi pika pikaa!?" (What is going on!? Why did you attack me!?) he asked angrily, lightening sparking on his little red cheeks, ready to counterattack if they try anything again.

Nightmare dramatically whirled out from behind the wall, charging at Pikachu. "That shard..." he bellowed, seizing Pikachu, "...is MINE!" He hurled the adorable Pokémon into the stands as Deoxys took the shard. The Virus Pokémon teleported the two back to the abandoned factory.

 

Reappearing in the factory, Nightmare placed the shard in the capsule in which he had emerged and whirled around, storming over to a table in the middle of the room. Holding a clear orb in his claw, the embodiment of Soul Edge's eyes flared at the same time as the crystal ball. An image of Cervantes ambushing DeDeDe and Olimar appeared in the scrying orb. "Excellent..." the Azure Knight growled.

Pit stares down on all the commotion with growing horror but knows that he cannot be involved until ordered to. He shakes his head and forces himself to watch.

 

Ike, has fled to the safety of another world only to find that there is a battle going on between a little yellow creature and an ugly thing. He thinks to himself, "why does this always happen to me", and tries to run across the room.

 

Metaknight wonders why his autocannon fired and sees Ike fleeing through a portal. He knows that he cannot follow with his ship so he flies over to the portal and steps through into carnage.

Pikachu picked himself up out of from where he landed just in time to see the two attackers teleport away with the shard. Rubbing his head, which hurt a bit, Pikachu pondered over what just happened and came to this conclusion. 1, he was blind sided. 2, the people who blindsided him where after those shards and 3, if he wanted to get those people back he would need to hunt down more shards. Pikachu would not just let his humiliation from the sneak attack go unpunished. He left the pokemon stadium in search of more shards and his attackers, thought not really sure where he was going to

DeDeDe and Olimar backed slowly from the pirate. The self proclaimed King of Dreamland knew that his Waddle Dees would never show up in time, and even if they did than Cervantes would kill them all. ``Give the shard to me and I will kill you quickly!'' Cervantes roared. Suddenly a giant purple pikmin flew straight towards the assailant and hit him square on the head, dazed for a moment, DeDeDe quickly picked up Nirvana and pointed it at Cervantes. ``Now that we know who's boss.'' DeDeDe growled, at the same time telling Olimar to go around Cervantes just so he doesn't try to escape. ``Your going to go with me and answer some questions. Cervantes growled and swiped upward with the phantom Soul Edge. King DeDeDe didn't know how to use the Nirvana and shot upwards, and was hit in the stomach by Cervantes' phantom Soul Edge. Knocked out, DeDeDe was taken care of. Breaking into the castle, Cervantes stole the shard and made off with it. Olimar was powerless to prevent his escape, because Cervantes would be ready for him. He helped DeDeDe up. ``Did he- did he escape?'' DeDeDe asked. Olimar nodded. ``Then we must gather the rest of the shards. I have a feeling my old `pal' Bowser is somehow apart of this. Those shards must be the key to some sort of weapon.'' Olimar nodded and together they walked down the trail from King DeDeDe's castle. Well, at least this is a little better than sitting in a throne all day.DeDeDe thought.

 

R.O.B. landed with a thump on the grass of a plain. All was peaceful, but R.O.B. somehow detected evil amiss. Now with the Island of the Ancients gone, there was nowhere for R.O.B. to go. He detected a strange metal shard in the grass. Picking it up, R.O.B. examined it, and stored it in his storage compartment. But the evil from the shard infected his circuits, causing the robot to go on a rampage. Seeing King DeDeDe and Olimar walking down a trail, R.O.B. attacked.

Pit stares at all of the events trying to concentrate on all of them at once. He wishes for the hundredth time that he could go down and help but he has no orders yet.

 

Ike runs through the world with Pikachu into another portal. He doesn't look back until he is in the next world. Suddenly he trips and falls face first on the ground. He looks around for what he tripped over and finds a metal shard. He takes it and puts it into the pocket of his cloak and keeps on running. He doesn't realize yet that Metaknight is following him.

 

Metaknight sees his prey pick up an object and resume running in the opposite direction. He follows just wanting to know why he set off his ship's autocannon.

King DeDeDe and Captain Olimar were walking along looking for shards on the plain. Suddenly a crazy robot jumped out of nowhere and hit DeDeDe with his laser beam. Olimar acted quickly and threw a yellow pikmin at the robot. But the Soul Edge shard made R.O.B. too powerful to be paralyzed for long. Suddenly a blast hit R.O.B. square on. King DeDeDe stood smugly from down the trail where he was thrown to, his hammer top turned into a cannon. Soul Edge possessed R.O.B. retreated, having DeDeDe and Olimar to follow him.

 

Cervantes de Leon looked from the hill he was standing. In one hand he clasped his phantom Soul Edge, in the other the shard he had stolen. He then sensed that other Soul Edge shard was near, moving toward him. Looking up, Cervantes saw R.O.B. gliding over the plain. He must have a piece of Soul Edge inside him. Cervantes thought. Picking up his Nirvana, Cervantes shot the robot down. The outraged robot shot Cervantes with his laser vision, but Cervantes dodged. ``We both contain a shard of Soul Edge inside of us.'' the Dread Pirate said. ``Let's see who is the victor!'' And both of the combatants charged at eachother with no mercy and no quarter given.

He stood overlooking a cliff, watching Cervantes and R.O.B. duel. Smirking, he dug the toes of his white boots into the ground, ready to jump into the fray. He was interrupted, however, by the sound of someone with a great deal of weight hitting the ground behind him.

WHITE RANGER

Whirling around, the possessed Trent Fernandez-Mercer found a bizarre figure in yellow clothes staring at him, grinning temptingly. The White Ranger could see why: in his hand was what looked to be a pebble of burning coal.

 

"What do I have to do to get more of them?" the Ranger asked, intrigued.

 

"Get your Zord and let me direct," Wario supplied. The White Ranger obliged, summoning the Drago Zord and letting Wario get on.

 

"Fly high to the sky, and take a left at the fork," Wario cackled.

 

Meanwhile, it was a boring day at Star Wolf. No one had hired them since Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where Wolf had lost to Fox in the semi-finals. The aforementioned leader was polishing his blaster when what looked to be a white dragon appeared just outside the porthole of his space station.

 

"C'mon," Wario beckoned. "We've got big money for your crew."

 

"We're coming," Wolf assured him.

Kamino, being a rainy planet, didn't get many visitors. Yet three fighters and a mechanical dragon were on the landing pad. That was enough to draw the suspicion of the famed bounty hunter, Jango Fett.

Jango drew his pistols when a white-armored figure dismounted the dragon. "We have a job for you," the White Ranger explained. "Follow us."

 

Jango didn't hestitate in calling Slave I.

Falco was flying in his Arwing, he was also analyzing a shard that Fox found. He was told to find more of the shards. Suddenly, the Arwing was hit by a missile. "What the?" he got cut off as the Arwing was hit by another missile. Falco evacuated the Arwing to confront his attacker.

SNAKE

Snake was hired to get the shards of Soul Edge for his employer. He knew one person that had a shard. Falco. He saw an Arwing flying towards the ground, Snake didn't whether it was Fox or Falco, but he fired his missile at it nontheless. After 2 shots from his missile, Falco came out of the Arwing. "So you're the one who firing at me, eh Snake?!" Falco shouted. "Heh, it's been a long time Falco. Now then, give me that shard and you won't die!" yelled Snake. "I don't think so Snake." he said. After that, Falco started firing his blaster, Snake dodged lobbed a grenade.

 

OOC: I'll do PT later. I'm tired, XD

R.O.B. fired a Gyro in Cervantes' direction. Cervantes dodged and counterattacked with his replica Soul Edge. R.O.B. flew high over Cervantes and hit him from the air. Outraged, Cervantes sliced upward. No attack seemed to have any affect on R.O.B. Suddenly Cervantes heard a phantom like voice whispering to him from R.O.B.'s storage compartment. In there... in there... the voice beckoned. Charging at eachother, Cervantes and R.O.B. each fired at eachother with their long range attacks. Just in time, Cervantes shot the storage compartment in R.O.B. and it blasted open, a metallic shard of Soul Edge flying out. R.O.B. shook his head, confused. Them Cervantes sliced upward, turning him into a trophy.

 

King DeDeDe and Olimar arrived only seconds later. Re activating R.O.B., DeDeDe and Olimar explained to R.O.B. what happened while he was out. Suddenly a large metallic dragon zoomed overhead, carrying a bulky figure and a figure in white. DeDeDe didn't know the white costumed man, but he knew the yellow one only too well. Wario. DeDeDe thought. ``We have to go after Cervantes!'' Olimar and R.O.B. said. DeDeDe shook his head. ``No... our top priority right now is to find out what Wario is doing. It can be nothing good. R.O.B., can you follow that dragon?'' Olimar nodded mischeviously and whistled. His Hococate ship appeared and landed right in front of the trio. ``How-'' DeDeDe stuttered. Olimar smiled. ``While you were packing for our journey, I managed to find repairs for my ship. Now let's follow them!'' Olimar said. And the Hococate ship followed the metallic dragon.

 

Cervantes was far away. He was inside the same building where the glowing capsule was. He inserted the two shards into the capsule. He step into the room with Nightmare, bowed and said: ``My Lord, I have carried out your orders!''

"That makes two shards," Nightmare growled, pleased. "Excellent work, Cervantes. Now give me it..." Cervantes obliged. Nightmare put the two shards on top of each other and closed them in his demonic fist. A scarlet light emanated from inside. When he opened his hand, they had fused together to form one more powerful shard. The evil energy was practically tangible.

 

"Bowser has given us Deoxys here," he gestured to the shapeshifter, "and Wario has hired several mercenaries... So far, all of our assets are performing admirably."

[Davok]

King DeDeDe, Olimar and R.O.B. landed near the Star Wolf base and witnessed the interaction between Wario and Wolf. ``Were going to need help on this.'' DeDeDe said. Flying back down to Earth, an autocannon saw the Hococate freighter and fire, sending it crashing down on the Mushroom Kingdom. DeDeDe climbed from the wreckage and sighted Bowser chasing Peach. ``That turtle has a lot of explaining to do.'' DeDeDe grumbled. He ran after Bowser, leaving R.O.B. and Olimar in the dust. Just when Bowser was going to capture Peach, DeDeDe slammed his hammer on Bowser. ``You aren't going anywhere!'' The King of Dreamland yelled.

 

Cervantes felt a wrench in his gut as he sensed another shard beckoning to come to him. It was in the fallen ruins of the Subspace Bomb Factory. Wasting no time, Cervantes toward where the shard beckoned.

"I... believe... SO!" Bowser bellowed, using the Whirling Fortress and breaking DeDeDe's hammer. He leaped in the air and boarded the Clown Car, continuing the pursuit of the shard and leaving DeDeDe in the dust.

 

OoC: We NEED Ruby Carbuncle; Cassandra's stuck until Mario shows up.

On his journey back to the Mushroom Kingdom from the Plumbing Building, Mario saw Peach running away. It seemed Bowser was at it again. What could it be this time?

 

"Peach! This way hurry!" He Yelled. They ran as fast as they could. Suddenly Mario Threw a Fireball at Bowser's flying contraption. One of Bowser's Propellers was damaged and he started falling towards a different direction.

 

"What's wrong Peach what does he want now?" He asked.

 

[bowser]

"Rawr, Fix it Shy Guy! NOW!" Bowser roared.

"But i can't my Lord, It's Unrepairable" Shy Guy Said.

"Fix It before they get away!" Yelled Bowser once more. *Thinks to Himself* If they get away theres no telling whether i'll be able to find them.

 

[Jengo Fett]

Ooc: I'm not sure what's going on with him yet...so please fill me in...

Ooc: I'll also need to catch up with him.

 

[Grim]

 

Grim: Billy stop that right now!

Billy: ahahaha ooo what does this do?

Grim Billy NOOO!!!!

 

*Suddenly they were transported to another location*

*Billy had messed with Grim's Scythe*

*They suddenly appear in front of Peach and Mario in the Plumbing Building*

 

Mario: Who are you? Where did you come from

Grim: I'm the Grim Reaper.

Billy: I'm Billy.

Mandy: I'm Mandy.

 

...Ooc: I'll leave any other stuff for you guys...don't want to get ahead...of myself...

[Careless Whisper]

The Force of the collision between the two blasts shook the ground intensely, and sent a shockwave so powerful that it lifeted Mewtwo and Lucario off their feet. Both combatants recovered quickly. Lucario quicker than Mewtwo. "How much power are you holding in, why don't you just release it..." But Mewtwo was cut off, the sound of engines and auto cannons was heard outside the cave in which they were fighting. They both walked outside to see Metaknight's ship firing it's autocannons at a run-away swordsman. Both pokemon looked at each other.

-"Maybe the swordsman has a debt to pay." Suggested Lucario.

-"I don't know, there's something about that swordsman that edges my nerves." Mewtwo replied alittle worriedly. Lucario caught the idea instantly and than closed his eyes and then slowly re-opened them with a slight twinkle in his left eye.

In Lucario's vision, every object was illuminated by a colored Aura, he memorized the color sequences so he knew that blue aura meant friendly, and red aura meant foe. The swordsman shined in a bright blue aura while the gigantic ship shined red.

-"We should help the swordsman. That ship is the threat."

Mewtwo nodded in agreement and both pokemon dissappeared from their spot and then reappeared on Metaknight's ship hull, where plenty of his minion's were alarmed by their sudden appearence. And they faught each and every hostile and beat them all off of the ship.

 

OOC: I'm kind of lost for Sonic, I don't know what he should do...
