Judging the colorless cards is going to be so hard. Like, for older formats I think they are unplayable in everything but like Tron since having enough colorless mana is so hard. Like, you need to be mono-color for them to really have the support in the mana base and even then those decks often make a lot of that color of mana. As a big EDH player I think the only deck that can play this is my Mono-Green deck and I think I have better colorless options for card draw. For standard, I don't think decks are interested in colorless mana when you can just play 4 colors with ease.

Shrine of the Forsaken Gods is a thing in Mono-Green Eldrazi Ramp, you know.  Not saying this would see Standard play, but saying that no deck in Standard is interested in colorless mana is false.

I checked, you can't use a "tap for any color" land to tap for a land that isn't in your commander's colors. So the vivids can only make URG in the deck. So Animar has like 5.

That's completely untrue. There's an entire discussion on this rule at the moment because you /can/ do precisely that because of Rule 4.

Very cool. Can't complain honestly. Guess people have a reason to run gold lands in their 2 color decks since they now can use them for C.

I already run City of Brass and Mana Confluence (as well as actual painlands) in any multicolor deck aside from control, so this really just adds to the utility.

Personally, I'd rather use a basic ETB tapped duel than something like that since I'm willing to give up the land for a single turn. My general goals when building an EDH mana base are to have at least 20 sources for each color and have it be possible for at least half the lands to come into play untapped.
