Alice Moonflowyr
I want to make a legit deck that abuses this so bad ;-;
Althemia
dunno why people keep trying to make decks around this when it just fits into a lot of control decks by premise alone tbh. good card but people are trying way too hard with it
ihop
It probably merits a spot in decks like Control Warrior for nothing else than 1 extra turn of not fatiguing, plus a nice end-game. 3/5 for 4 are pretty decent stats anyway and it's surprisingly easy to actually resolve the monkey. The real downside is that a hand of legendaries often isn't much better than the hand you had before.

It's pretty good in control mirrors since not even Control Priest has enough removal options for 10+ (additional) threats coming out of nowhere. Realistically you might well only get the money with 6ish cards in hand or deck and there's always a pretty good chance that a few of your cards are going to be Nat Pagles and Chos and Gormoks and sheet like that, and there's only a handful of seriously threatening legendaries. Yeah, it's still pretty good, especially if you can keep a hand of 5 or 6 or so but it's not always the blowout that you'd hope it would be. Also Priest only need Entomb for the Monkey and they're making you sweat.

It's a fair point about the amount of actually "strong" legendaries being a tad exaggerated on my end but regardless of the number it'll more than likely be too many considering draws now have the chance of becoming a lot stronger than before, which is more than enough for either of the big things to handle. Also Entomb might be a little too slow by the point that you actually play the Monkey, but idk maybe that's not the case. In all of the cases it happened to me it never really mattered since by that point I'd won regardless and they were having to play catch-up in trying to find it before they lost
ihop
Yeah, my experiences against the monkey playing Control Priest have been either forfeiting to Elise because it put a card back into the Control Warrior's deck or pushing through like, an Alex and a Cenarius when they were behind already. I think we'll learn more about it as time goes on but the extra card for Control decks seems very valuable.
