El-Shaddoll Winda

DARK/Spellcaster/Fusion/Effect/2200 ATK/800 DEF

1 “Shadoll” monster + 1 DARK monsters

Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Cannot be destroyed by your opponent’s card effects. While this card is in your Monster Card Zone, neither player can Special Summon more than 1 monster per turn. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 “Shadoll” Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard; add that card to your hand.

While the effect of my opponent’s El Shaddoll Winda is applying, if I attempt to Special Summon Cyber Dragon from my hand with its own effect, but the Special Summon is negated by Horn of Heaven, can I still Special Summon once this turn? Also, while the effect of my opponent’s El Shaddoll Winda is applying, if I activate Monster Reborn, but the activation is negated by Magic Jammer, can I still Special Summon once this turn?

A: While the effect of El Shaddoll Winda is applying, if the Special Summon of your Cyber Dragon is negated by Horn of Heaven, you cannot Special Summon again this turn. Also, while the effect of El Shaddoll Winda is applying, if the activation of your Monster Reborn is negated by Magic Jammer, you may still Special Summon once this turn.

This ruling breaks the card. Solemn Notice. Summon Winda. funk PEPE

And El Shaddoll Construct was banned instead of this because...

Highly likely OCG pulls con off the list cause of China

2) con was banned in OCG cause of lv8 and facilitating BLS CED

3) TCG cause con kills Kozmo?

Also. Foolish Burial. Limited. Armageddon Knight. limited. Mathmatcian. limited. Construct was any of these three in Dolls+ the beater

That sounds correct, though.

If you SS Cyber Dragon and it's negated by Warning, you still cannot use Pot of Duality, because you attempted to SS this turn already. But Monster Reborn being used and activation negated still allows for Duality.

At least, I'm pretty sure that's how it's ruled.

In conclusion, inherent SSes still count as attempting the Summon, even if negated. Activating an S/T and having the activation negated does NOT count because negating the activation treats it as never being activated in the first place. Negating a Summon just treats it as not being on the Field when destroyed (even if Flip Summoned).

I didn't get the appeal of Construct either, but when I actually picked up Dolls, I played 1 of this (3 Construct), and barely ever went into it. Construct nets advantage, and if they manage to get rid of it, you're either floating or setting yourself up for another main-deck Fusion. Winda just doesn't do as much, it can't get over things, can't search El for protection, and in the pendulum era, if you just pen 3, you'll have 2 for the out next turn.

Construct was banned cause you could send Wyvern, add and summon CED, that's 5800 right there and if you have el it's game. They chain Eturt? End on Felgrand.

Like sure that's using a limited card you might say? Throw in Clowns which would be legal in a week and DMOC and it was bad. But I agree, the problem was more with El being a otk Quickplay and Math being all around consistency
