heraldry_lord
Seruni, Phoenix SageMana Cost: {2}{B}{R}{G}Power/Toughness: 4/5Legendary Creature - Efreet Shaman When Seruni, Phoenix Sage enters the battlefield, search your library for a Phoenix creature card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library. Phoenix creatures you control get +1/+1 and have haste. Whenever a Phoenix creature you control dies, you may pay {X}, where X is that creature's converted mana cost. If you do, return that card to the battlefield under your control at the beginning of the next end step.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
That last ability is pretty redundant with typical Phoenix mechanics.
heraldry_lord
That last ability is pretty redundant with typical Phoenix mechanics. A number of Phoenixes return to your hand instead of the battlefield, and this essentially gets around the costs or conditions attached to the ones that do return to the battlefield. So, with due respect, I'm not really seeing how it's redundant.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Well, the issue, in my opinion, is that it makes a good portion of what they do ineffective/pointless, which I personally am not a fan of.
