I plan on posting cards soon, so I thought I may as well introduce myself so I can make sure people give me some feedback (it's embarassing if no one comments on it).

I already lurked the site for a couple days and read the rules so I will likely post it right.

 

Aboute me: I have lost interest in Yugioh some time ago (somewhere between the middle of the xyz era), but all those new things sounded interesting to me. Not sure about people's opinion towards pendulum, but for now I like it more than xyz - that thing accelerated the game in so many levels it's maddening. Of course the best thing right now is definitely konami giving attention to old archetypes, specially making synchro/fusions/rituals relevant again (fluffals are just so much fun). I haven't played much lately so I'm not aware of the latest obnoxious decks, but at least it seems like they are trying to give some diversity alongside the usual powercreep (there's still powercreep, but it seems to affect more types of decks). Dunno if they got a new design lead or something but I hope they have changed for the better. 

 

Also, ARC-V is just so great (in many aspects). I would probably enjoy it even if I had no interest in Yugioh. I can't believe it came after something like Zexal - the reason I couldn't bother it's dimension being the first to enter in chaos ("XYZ SCUM!"). I may comment on the anime's topic someday.

 

Extra: English is not my first language; Heraldics is still my favorite xyz deck - an xyz deck which you can screw xyz with, is there something better? (Also, Genome Heritage's artwork is alluring); I have trouble finishing things in general so I consider creating cards more of a determination boost or the like; I don't really play Yugioh irl, just online (I do have a few cards, but I'm not willing to buy meta decks or be competitive - tbh, I'm not really a good duelist); While I was interested in making a fusion deck (we need more fusion decks), the archetype I'm projecting is a pure xyz one (shame on me), luckily I can make one that is enjoyable and not obnoxious (meaning: a bunch of special summons from everywhere, tellarknights being a good example of obnoxiousness).

 

All in all, greetings, I guess. I should be posting my cards by tomorrow.

Welcome to YCM, Fluffyfish.

I'm Sakura, the lead moderator of Custom Cards, so feel free to ask me anything regarding the rules and common standards regarding the section.

 

As for Pendulums, some people like them but others have a degree of dislike towards them (if EmEm and some other stuff are anything to work off of).
