GarlandChaos
Lore: When this card is activated: Add 1 "Black Luster Soldier" monster or "Gaia the Fierce Knight" monster from your deck to your hand. Once per turn, if you control no monsters: You can Special Summon 1 "Black Luster Soldier" monster from your hand, ignoring the Summoning Conditions, and if you do, during each Battle Phase this turn, it can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each, and if it does, double any battle damage your opponent takes from battles involving that card and a monster your opponent controls until the end of the turn, also its effects are negated until the end of the turn. You can only activate 1 "Chaos Blade" per turn. You can only use 1 "Chaos Blade" effect per turn, and only once that turn. To my knowledge, this gives BLS.dek what it needs: A searcher, and an easy way to get the Rituals and other bosses out. Probably super busted, but eh. CnC? Darj
Two problems I see with this card:1. Black Luster Soldier/Gaia Knight already have a searcher (check Gateway of Chaos).and2. It is really scary since not only it can pick Envoy of the Beginning, but also can Summon it skipping its summoning conditions if you control no other monsters, and then it gives it all those combat-related bonuses that are simply too much: multiple attacks, extra battle damage and effect negation. One rarely sees a card with this many combat bonuses. In fact, I cannot think of any card that grants 3 bonuses, but at most 2. You could also use this second effect on a Gaia Knight along Spiral Pierce Strike to potentially draw multiple cards. This card is such an overkill that is not funny. I would suggest to remove the search effect in order to not stack with their Field Spell, also remove 1 of the 3 combat bonuses, but then it would most likely become so weak that it wouldn't be worth of running, so I got no concrete suggestions at the moment. About the effect negation: That was supposed to be negating the BLS you summoned. Any way for me to word it so that that's what's happening? Toffee.
Actually, it's not so much the fact they need a way to get the bosses out, but rather.... They need a more focused direction. Right now, it's some Chaos/Ritual with mis-matching-Levels/Spell Counter/etc Archetype, and it's just a jumbled up mess. This card, however, you could just be a pro and play it as a 1-off in whatever you wanted, because it grabs BLS right off the bat- You would then go and play it, assuming your Deck was made to be like that. Darj
Oh, shoot. About the effect negation: That was supposed to be negating the BLS you summoned. Any way for me to word it so that that's what's happening? Oh. In that case, placing the negation as the first effect on the list may prevent any confusion; by leaving it at the end, it wasn't clear if you were negating the targeted monster, or the attacked monster.
