BALLENCED!?! you call THAT ballenced? this card is the same ammount of saks as a gear gollemn, but it is SO MUCH BETTER 500 plus attack an effect that deals decent amount of damage and his second effect makes it so he dosent even have to attak for it to work he just has to BE THERE. its overpowered horibly maybe if you made it a nomi monster perhaps but still overpowered no doubt. 3.5/10

Ancient Gear Golem is underpowered just a bit though.

....You're kidding, right? When I get Ancient Gear Golem on the field my opponent gets serious damage 'cos they can't use Mirror Force or stuff like that. And its piercing effect just adds to that.

Yes, but it is hard to summon and can be killed outside of the battle phase by something like DDT. I would know as I've run an Ancient Gear deck before as well.

Ancient Gear Golem is underpowered just a bit though.

 

and that makes this card ballenced? did you take into consideration the highest atk a two sak monster has ever had is 3500? and that monster is ultimate obediant feind the monster with so many down effects its just not worth play? you cant honestly think that this monster being unable to be special summoned is a justifiably down effect can you? you know about all of the cards that get antient gears onto the feild, or mausoleum of the emperor correct? THAT is why this card is overpowered, yes in defence position most likely ancient gear golemn is more powerful then this but what if they are in attack? they take the battle damage PLUS the damage 400 x monsters stars. thats not overpowered? you also took into consideration the fact that this monsters effect stops your opponent from activating spell/trap cards during your opponents battle phase as well right? cause seriously making it so your opponent cant use cards during battle and you can whenever, and you only say its hard to summon because your assuming the only ways to get a 2 sak on the feild are special summoning (not an opption) and saking two monsters, there are the cards that count as two saks, there is ancient gear castle and ancient gear factory both cards would work just fine with this card, and of course there is mausoleum of the emperor (probably spelled that wrong...). this card is not ballenced, gear golemn was ballenced, not underpowered, ballenced.

No matter what method you use to summon it, they all require heavy costs (2 monsters, 2000 LP etc.) and after paying that you could be thwarted by a simple trap hole.

Ancient Gear Golem was kinda overpowered,this card is too,but to keep this card ''relistic'',tihs card couls only be Special Summoned Tributing 1 ''Ancient Gear Golem''

Would be more realistic if you removed the cancel Special Summon of the card and replaced it with something like: "This card cannot be Special Summoned except by its own effect. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing 1 face-up "Ancient Gear Golem" on your side of the field from play". It would be more realistic that way. Plus the pic doesn´t look like an Ancient Gear card. I give it an A.

i understand that, but its the same way with plenty of other monsters, any card can be stopped before it hits the feild. problem is, is your ASSUMING your opponent will have something to stop it from coming into play, and assuming you have no way of stoping them. just because it COULD happen dosent mean it will.

 

in addition did you take ultimate obedient fiend into consideration? lets compare the effect

 

ultimate obidient fiend:

+ it negates monster effects when it destroyes them

- cant attack with monsters on your side of the feild

- cant attack with spells/traps on your side of the feild

- cant attack if you have cards in hand

 

ancient gear king

+ stops your opponent from playing battle traps

+ deals damage equil to the stars of the monster it destrys x 400

+ a machine type monster (think about limiter removal and you will see why this is a plus

- cant be special summoned

 

they have the same atk king has 200 more def, and you think king is ballenced? come on, he is overpowered even if only by one effect he is still overpowered, with limiter hes a 7000 all you need is like fairy meteor or something and your opponents screwed... 2 saks is not enough to ballence this monster.
