Mr.Robot
Is Trip Hop dead? Not really. There's no Massive Attack, Portishead, Bjork, Radiohead, DJ Shadows, Unkle or Nujabes but here's a few band still kicking the almost dead genre. Most of these new wave Trip Hop bands/group incorporate dream pop, downtempo compared to the straight up experimental hip-hop sound of their predecessors. Elijah~
Forgive me if I may sound like a follower, but A$AP Rocky's new album, A.L.L.A (At Long Last A$AP), has a few psychadelic/ trippy tracks on it as well.Exhibit A: Exhibit B:https://youtu.be/SZolv7FacV0
Madsen
No genre dies nowadays. The Internet is too huge for that. It's about discovering.
Susie
As great as Grimes is I dont feel that shes really all that suitable for Trip-Hop. Phantogram, Crosses and FKA Twigs are all entertaining, heard of Goldfrapp but never bothered checking her out,the rest are all new to me.
