[spoiler='Set A']Zephyr of Aether

****

WATER

Fairy/Xyz/Effect

2400/500

2 Level 4 monsters

During either player’s turn, if this card battles: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; until the end of the damage step, if a monster would be sent to the Graveyard; You can return it to the deck instead, but if you do, switch this card to defense position during the End Phase. If this card would be destroyed by battle, you can target the attacking monster; Return this card to your Extra Deck, and if you do, return that card to the hand.

CXyz Tempest of Aether

*****

WATER

Fiend/Xyz/Effect

3 Level 5 WATER monsters

2600/1000

If this card attacks an opponent’s monster, it can attack once again in a row. If this card was Xyz Summoned using ”Zephyr of Aether” as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect.

• Once per turn, during either player’s turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; Place 1 Cold Counter on it. If a monster with a Cold Counter on it is targeted for an attack or effect, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response.

If this card attacks an opponent's monster, it gains 300 ATK during the Damage Step only. During the End Phase: if this card attacked or was attacked this turn: you can send this face-up card to the graveyard; special summon 1 "Spell Knight Hero LV6" from your hand, deck, or graveyard.

You can special summon 1 "Summoned Fire Knight" from your hand, deck or graveyard and if you do, 1 face-up monster your opponent controls loses 500 ATK. You can only use this effect of "Spell Knight Hero LV6" once per turn. During the End Phase: if this card attacked or was attacked this turn: you can send this face-up card to the graveyard; special summon 1 "Spell Knight Hero LV8" from your hand, deck, or graveyard.

Once per turn: You can special summon 1 "Summoned Fire Knight" from your hand, deck or graveyard and if you do, 1 face-up monster your opponent controls loses 800 ATK. Once per turn: you can target 1 face-up monster you control; place 1 auto-life counter on that target (max 1). (If a monster with an auto-life counter would be destroyed, remove the auto-life counter instead, also that monster cannot attack for the rest of this turn.) During either player's turn, once per turn: when a card or effect that targets this card is activated: you can negate that activation.

I'll take this one, if you like my requirement:

"Make a monster card of a character that was introduced as a mod to a video/computer game. You are allowed and encouraged to make support as needed to make the character the focus of a viable deck"

Notes:

1. An unaltered official character who is modded into another game doesn't count. EG you cannot chose Tails the Fox because he's been modded into Warcraft III (which for the record he has been)

2. You CAN make a card based on a mod that significantly alters an official character from how they normally are:

would qualify if I hadn't already made it into an archtype and posted it:

http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/333895-summoner-ike-set-super-smash-bros-brawl-revised/

3. You CAN make a card that uses the appearance of a character that would be disqualified by "1.", if your mod character has significantly different abilities/powers/skills from who they look sort of like.

example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUjIk5BHJ70

Uses a reskin of Pit for the model, but the character has its own unique attributes so its still vaild.

4. You must post a synopsis of what your chosen mod character is like to aid in grading, (like rule 6 of this thread: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/333637-finishedcc-monthly-series-may-2015/.)

 5. I doubt this will be an issue, but you must be able to provide proof the mod you chose exists if asked (A short video or link to a page about it will do) therefore don't make something up and claim its a mod out there somewhere.

If you don't mod, look up games like warcraft III or minecraft that have a lot of mods. Warcraft III's dota (from which DOTA 2 came) counts

If I am excepted, may we extend the deadlines a bit because of homework to be done before thanksgiving break and stuff?

For Set A, Zephyr's effect clearly reflects the characteristics of the wind, returning cards back to the deck as an evasiveness, it's effect can be used for preventing resurrection, and switches it to defense position. The CXyz however has the ability to attack twice and negating the activation of card effect's, which is a significant..the deck doesn't really seem to revolve around Zephyr

For Set B, The deck certainly revolves around "Spell Knight", even though it's lore doesn't affect spell/trap cards, Level 8 is too powerful since it can place counters every single turn which prevents destruction with no cost.... and it has numerous strong effects as an added icing..

My vote goes to Set B since it revolves more on the focus character, even though it's effect is a bit unbalanced..Set A is more balanced, but it lacks focus on the card since it's effects are more of a support for another stronger monster

Best Regards, to both of you
