I like that Guardian Knight, the Synchro and the Fusion:

- Guardian Knight can pick non-archetypal monsters such as the aforementioned Veiler.

- Loving how the Synchro is intended to disrupt both Pendulum and graveyard-centric decks: the first effect is clearly anti-Pendulum, since besides Pendulum Summons, few cards Summon +2 monsters at once (the most notable being Soul Charge), which is what specifically this card stops. Then it has the second effect to stop floaters and whatnot. The third effect is more of icing on the cake for dodging targeting removal while swapping into another dragon, adding utility to the card; if only Shooting Quasar Dragon wasn't Nomi ok, no.

-The Fusion monster is a straight combat juggernaut: indestructible by battle, attacks twice, and will banish whatever survives its attacks without even targeting it. Still, considering it's a fusion of 2 3000/2500 monsters, I wish it has a bit higher stats, around +500 ATK/DEF or so. Also, if I both the summoning condition right, it can be both Contact Fusion Summoned with its built-in method and Fusion Summoned regularly, right? If so, it's nice to get this dual summoning condition as reference for card-making.

Not necessarily. Plushfire does not give much of a s***, especially when the Plushfire user tends to nuke them themselves, when Majespecters have no Pendulum Effects whatsoever, not to mention they need not their effects to pendulum. The cases of Pendulum blocks this guy can currently do are totally limited, and even if you do, Pendulum abusive decks are likely to kill that Scale anyway in one way or the other.

BGMaxie usually doesn't know what he's talking about

Wonder if Cyber Stein is worth teching in BEWD.dek

If you do, you can in theory pull off the most beautiful Blue-Eyes OTK in Yugioh history.

Hand:

White Stone of Legend

Melody of Awakening Dragon

Cyber Stein

Polymerization or something to search Poly or something to Special Summon regular Blue-Eyes

Dump White Stone with Melody. Add Blue Eyes Alternate, Original Blue-Eyes, and Blue-Eyes Shining to hand. Summon Cyber Stein and SS Blue-Eyes Ultimate. Tribute Ultimate for Shining. Special Summon Alternate by revealing Original. Pop something. Fuse Alternate with Original unto Twin Burst somehow. Attack with Shining at 4200 and Twin-Burst at 3000 and Cyber Stein with 700. Overlay Shining and Twin Burst into Gustav Max to clear out whatever your opponent may have had left.

The thing is, this doesn't seem THAT unrealistic given how searchable all of the Blue-Eyes are. Not something to rely on since Stein is limited but definitely a playable move for anyone that wants to incorporate Shining for fun.

cyber twin blue-eyes is a beautiful monster.

but why does blue-eyes.dek have an anti-pendulum monster? is yuya involved in this movie somehow?

Only Twin Burst and Alternative White are confirmed for Kaiba.

The rest of the cards are in the upcoming main set.

I mean, Tuners didn't exist in DM, either, so why does he have tuners or synchros.

oh, for a minute i thought this movie was going to be about the advent of synchros, and yugi and kaiba were going to duel with test cards.

well either way, the new support's welcome, i'm definitely gonna make a shining scrub deck for laughs once i get my hands on them.
