I was thinking, most decks don't even have room to fit in Soul Charge or Reborn, the less vulnerable forms of this card.

Tellars will get mention, unlike CoTH this card drops off if you XYZ with it

There are some bad loops out there, yes. But it's not like it can be any worse than Noden

If it MUST be errata'ed hard OPT. But nobody played Hidden Arm for Snatch, they won't play it for this.

Also Twin Twisty is around the corner.

Back to 1 in both formats?

Actually, I postulate that most decks would run Monster Reborn over Soul Charge.

Hmm, I doubt it. Seems to be the Opposite in OCG. Maybe you're right since Kozmo. But you shouldn't really have monsters in your grave with Kozmo. I just don't see it happening with Reborn and definetly don't see it happening with burial

Burial no, but MR does always possess the sainted benefit of stealing your opponent's monsters. More to the point it doesn't cost LP, nor does it cost you your Battle Phase either. Decks that even use Soul Charge are typically those that only benefit from the mass revival, like Plants due to reviving triple Lonefire, or Melodious for establishing the ElAria lock.

Premature would be used less than MR yes, because it possesses a lot of weaknesses. Weaknesses MR just doesn't possess. In essence, even amongst Pendulum decks you could potentially find space for this, since Pendulums tend to be used for Xyz a fair bit.

Also, Kozmo can have monsters in the grave, provided you play smart against them. Such as timing Abyss Dweller against their spaceship floats, or if they make and use an Xyz.

I'd LOVE to see this come back. Personally, I always preferred this over Soul Charge. I know Life Points don't matter, but the cost only being 800 and not skipping your BP that turn is pretty sweet.

Yeah, if you could put this back to 1, Konami, that would be great.

What was the original reason this catd was banned? This is one of those banned cards I can't fathom.

Because this can't exist w/ Brio and Brio was the card they wanted to sell more at the time.

It could probably come back and not really do anything bad, assuming every card that can bounce without a hard OPT clause is gone.

But it got banned after Return Dad and Brio didn't exist then :/

Premature Burial was banned in September 2008, and the set where Brionac was in released in April of 2008.

It wasn't around in the TCG, but the loops had time to happen in the OCG.

I thought you of all people would know this.

Only started playing OCG after Konami TCG decided not unban Trishula in September 2013 actually. Well, I played post CRV Goat as well. But that's interesting to learn.

Brio can't come back without an OPT as long as Trishula is a card. Burial seems like the lesser evil here

I do remember it and DMoC were quite the pair in Return DAD, guess Brio is what explains why Reborn didn't get the Ax but Premature did
