Fusion X. Denver
I was registering for my last semester of college today and it went as well as expected.Thought I'd ask YCM what some of its favorite classes were. In high school and back, it was generally English. I enjoyed reading stories and doing writing assignments based off of our interpretations and such much more than stuff like math or science. In college, I liked a bunch of stuff. Mass Media & Society was fun and we had a hip teacher, History of Jazz was really interesting and different with a professor that could play the bass super well, and I'm in a Creative Writing course where we currently write stories and workshop everyone's pieces once a week. ihop
mage Maths, normally. I love numbers and was always better at it than most people. I enjoyed Economics, Geography and History too because I liked learning about the way the world works or used to work in ways that are relevant to me, whereas I never really liked physical sciences because I just didn't see much point in knowing how stuff I take for granted worked. I'm doing Maths and Economics for my degree now and like every module that I'm doing more or less equally.
Catman25
I was pretty decent at math and science in high school, so I kinda enjoyed it back then. College hasn't been so kind so I'm really digging the classes that get away from that, even if I'm still a science major. This semester I'm taking a creative writing class that I was dreading, but it's turned out to be pretty chill

To be honest just playing Evilswarm was enough.
Shradow
But seriously, anything to do with electrical engineering. I like programming, building electrical systems, working with circuits, those sort of things.
Thar
I always enjoyed gym class, especially early ones cause afterwards I'm all pumped up and ready for the day. That and art class. Always loved art class.
Sethera
Language, literature, and art classes were always my favorite. Music and biology are fun too though.
Βyakuya
Art classes are the best. I took a morning class and we drew still lives while listening to some classical music. Very relaxing and soothing for the morning, but the drawing jacks your motivation and creativity to wake you up and get active. I generally like classes where I can interact with people and talk about the lessons and assignments. Physics is a jabroni, yet I enjoy talking to my classmates and joke around while we do some practice problems. Chemistry is also pretty great too. (GigaDrillBreaker)
Film as Literature. Oh, and engineering, but that is more because I was part of the robotics team and could get into the closet where the teacher stored licorice. Trebuchet MS
Japanese - at least the low-level ones I take for broadening - mainly because it did help me out with my grammar which was mostly lacking. Prior to those classes I could do some keyword-based translations but had a lot of trouble forming a proper sentence. Synthetic Chemistry was also pretty cool. I loved pushing electrons around and forming mechanisms in organic chemistry. Reagents and conditions memorization aside, it was pretty fun learning the techniques they used to create fancier molecules. The labs weren't as fun due to the long refluxes involved though. Win some, lose some.

Fusion X. Denver
I always enjoyed gym class, especially early ones cause afterwards I'm all pumped up and ready for the day. That and art class. Always loved art class.Gym class was awesome in elementary school, our teacher always had us playing fun games. And free time was cool too since I'd get the butt scooters and screw around on those.High school gym sucked though. I always dreaded when the ball came towards me in volleyball. Language, literature, and art classes were always my favorite. Music and biology are fun too though.I can dig it. Music really is fun though, History of Jazz was one of my favorites and I also took History of Music and found that as a surprisingly fun elective. Our teacher was great too, he would play beautiful snippets of music on the piano as in-class examples. I looked him up and apparently he hires himself out for weddings, bar mitzvahs, etc. Paladins. They soak in a lot of damage and dish it out to. ::Mine's always been Warrior-related types. Film as Literature.Film courses I hear are always fun as electives, for people not majoring in it. I signed up for a Documentary Cinema course next semester, but I was hoping for the Cult Cinema one. Trebuchet MS
That all sounds pretty cool. Are you taking Japanese for any particular reason, or just for the hell of it?The course mandates that everyone take some units that do not classify as part of our degree - e.g. Science majors do a bit of Arts subjects - as broadening so you're not overly specced in your education. Since languages fall under Arts subjects, I made a beeline for Japanese since I'll find it easy to score, and I might get something out of it that I couldn't while I was learning the language at my own pace. もちろん、たくさんのことを習いました。文法など。
