Symbol of Heritage

Recommended Posts

When do you ever see someone getting 3 Noden in the grave ever.

When you use Fusion Gate. It was an extremely consistent FTK in OCG that topped multiple events.

Was put down with the limit of Blaze Fenix, Instant Fusion, and Symbols

Also Shadow Mist was a thing too, DDT could get three mist in grave piss easy

Was this card ever limited before recently? I know it was used in some loop involving Dewloren and Coelecanth or whatever else but I think they just semi'd Dewloren and left this at 3. Anyway, I guess Lonefire is the reason now.

Divine Wind of Mist Valley with Harpies mames sense to limit it. But Lonefire Blossom with Symbol of Heritage? What could you possibly Summon that would stay on the field for more than a turn with that?

But this is a TCG limit where that's of no relevance. I mean was anyone even using this before it got limited outside that one OCG FTK?

Felgrand Dracossack or some equivalent. It seems a fairly genuine threat.

With Lonefire Blossom; explain.

Something involving Mount Sylvania and/or some lucky excavates. idk if it's actually possible to Felgrand Dracossack unless you have some other stuff/get very lucky with your excavates but you can certainly come pretty close.

Went back and checked, was limited in the April 15 list at the same time as Lonefire went to 3 so that argument makes no real sense.

How doesn't it?

It was pre-emptively hit so that it couldn't abuse triple lonefire. The argument makes perfect sense, especially with the info you presented.

Yeah, because Lonefire went to 3 they put this to 1 for "precautionary measures". I guess. Maybe Gigavise can make some combo with this, who knows. It definitely was used back when Fishborg was unbanned in some infinite Trish FTK though.

Wait. Shinra/Sylvan is still relevant?

It's still no Divine Wind of Mist Valley.

But plant synchros day is pretty much done, it's not like this card which was fairly unheard of before being hit was going to bring it back even at 3.

We're not talking plant synchro here. Lonefire.dek took multiple spots in the tops of most major events literally last year. Lonefire as a card is a legitimate threat and bumping up combo pieces (Lonefire and Soul Charge/Symbols) in a deck from 2 and 1 to 3 and 4 could well make them relevant again.

"Fairly unheard of"

you mean completely funking infamous?

It's completely understandable, and logical. They kept a potentially stupid power play from regulary occuring.

And the Harpie FTK was never TCG either, and they still hit that too

It got limited in OCG January, then in April, TCG did half the OCG moves of January so they killed one degenerate FTK as well
