razzy
Honestly not sure where i want to take this archetype. I originally planned to use mythology female warriors, but I've added in a few others. Let me know what you think. :) [spoiler=Monsters]If either player's Main Phase or Battle Phase, if you control no other monters, you can Special Summon this card from your (hand). You can only use one of the following effects of "Aphrodite Prime Mover of Beauty" one per turn. When this is Normal or Special Summoned, you can activate one of the following effects.* Special Summon 1 "Prime Mover" monster from your hand.* Target 1 Set card your opponent controls; place it on the bottom of the Deck. During either player's Main Phase or Battle Phase. if your control Special Summon this card from your hand (from your hand). You can only use one of the following effects of "Lykopis Prime Mover of Archery" one per turn. When this is Normal or Special Summoned, you can activate one of the following effects.* Add 1 "Prime Mover" card from your Deck to your hand.* Target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; destroy that target. I know she looks nothing like a beast-warrior, but that's what her name means. And I wanted to try to extend a little bit rather than the old fashion "everything has the same type/attribute". During either player's Main Phase or Battle Phase, if you can Special Summon this card from (your hand). You can only use one of the following effects of "Thalestris Prime Mover of Love" one per turn. When this is Normal or Special Summoned, you can activate one of the following effects.* Target 2 "Prime Mover" cards in your Graveyard; shuffle them into the Deck, and if you do, draw 1 card.* Target 1 Spell/Trap card your opponent controls; banish it. During either player's Main Phase or Battle Phase: If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only use one of the following effects of "Elsa Prime Mover of Frost" one per turn. When this is Normal or Special Summoned, you can activate one of the following effects.* Special Summon 1 "Prime Mover" monster from your Graveyard.* During this turn: "Prime Mover" monsters you control cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects. I really didn't want to go here. (If you know what I mean) But I liked the picture and couldn't think of anyone better suiting for it. Also I feel the last effect needs some fixed wording. During either player's Main Phase or Battle Phase, if you can Special Summon this card from (your hand). This card gains 200 DEF for every other"Prime Move" monster you control. If this card on the fied is send to the graveyard by an opponent's card You can Special Summon 1 "Prime Mover"from your Deck, "except "Pingyang Prime Mover of Courage" once per turn. You can only use these effect off "Pingyang Prime Mover of Courage" only use one of the following effects of "Pingyang Prime Mover of Courage" one per turn. When this is Normal or Special Summoned, you can activate one of the following effects.* Send up to 2 "Prime Mover" cards from your Deck to the Graveyard.* All "Prime Mover" monsters you currently control gain 500 ATK/DEF 2 Level 7 "Prime Mover" monstersWhile this card has Xyz material and is the only monster you control, you can Special Summon "Prime Mover" monsters with their effects as if you controlled no monsters. During either player's turn, when exactly 1 "Prime Mover" monster is Special Summoned, and activates an effect: You can detach 1 Xyz material from this card; this effect becomes the activated monster's other effect (your choice if more than one). You can only use this effect of "Eurybe, the Grand Strength Prime Mover" once per turn. I feel this Xyz may be a little too strong. Thinking of making its effect detach both material? [spoiler=Spells/Traps]If you control no monsters: Special Summon 1 "Prime Mover" monster from your Deck. If you control no monsters and your opponent controls a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: Special Summon up to 2 "Prime Mover" monsters from your Deck. You cannot activate other cards or effects the turn you activate this card, except "Prime Mover" effects. Target 1 "Prime Mover" monster you control; until the end of this turn it is unaffected by your opponent's card effects. If your opponent controls more monsters than you do, your opponent cannot chain cards to this cards activation. You can only activate 1 "Prime Movers Crescent Power" once per turn. Activate 1 of the following effects:* Special Summon 1 "Prime Mover" monster from your hand in face-up Defense Position, and if you do, you cannot activate other cards or effects until the end of this turn, except "Prime Mover" card effects.* Target 1 "Prime Mover" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position, and if you do, you cannot activate other cards or effects until the end of this turn, except "Prime Mover" card effects. When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Prime Mover" monster from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, you can Normal Summon 1 "Prime Mover" monster without Tribute. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.) Your opponent cannot chain cards from the hand or Graveyard to the activation of your "Prime Mover" monster's effect. I know a lot of them mostly Special Summon but since the monsters are high leveled I wanted an easier way to get them on the field. And I feel some of the drawback, such as only being able to use other Prime Movers during that turn prevent crazy otk plays from occurring, or maybe it makes them too weak? Dova
I would say the monsters are very powerful....but as soon as you summon one, you cant summon another one, which somewhat fixes it (I don't know if their effects can be chained to each other). I like the whole concept behind these cards, in regards to their effects and playstyle. I also like the fact that it gives your opponent pause before he activates a monster destruction card: "Will my opponent summon a worse Prime Mover?" As for the Xyz, I don't think it is that powerful, considering it has no protection, also the fact that the first effect relies on Xyz Material. The trap....oh, the trap. Since your Prime Movers ACTIVATE in your hand, you can get up to 3 Prime Movers out at once if you chain the trap and your opponent has a monster summoned from the Extra Deck. Talk about swarm. The other two spells seem fair enough, but the field also has quite a bit of bunch behind it. It locks out a TON of mained Spell/Traps. I would suggest nerfing it a little, especially since it has a summon you never use and an add. All in all, the idea seems like differently executed PsyFrames. I can see this being used, and although it is quite powerful, I don't see anything inherently broken, so just some plain ol' nerfing should fix it. Well done! razzy
Yeah I never actually thought of the monster effects hand Special Summoning effects being chained to each other. Maybe I should fix that somehow. - Going to change effects to not active. So they will be more like Cyber Dragon and just hit the field rather than being revealed. This would also fix the trap getting 3 monsters out.
