Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/05/us/georgia-state-trooper-children-halloween-parents-death-fundraiser/index.html It's very tragic because the parents of these kids were killed and, according to the article, the trooper decided not to inform the kids on Halloween. Rather, he took them out for food and took care of them until the grandmother arrived. It's sad because eventually, they'll have to be told by someone. Halubaris Maphotika
It is sad, but this makes me really f*cking happy. Kudos to this cop and bless his f*ckin heart.
Sethera
This is heartbreaking... :(Also it looks like they were already told, since the eldest son was talking about funeral costs and such on Tuesday. It's really sad that a 13-year-old has to worry about such things already... But I'm really glad that the policeman acted the way he did. While hiding the truth might have been iffy, he did what he thought was best to give the kids a happy memory, so it wouldn't be completely terrible when they look back on that day. It's people like him who give me hope for this world.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Another instance of law enforcement doing their job to serve the community.Though it is sad for the kids to have lost their parents, but he did a good thing by helping them out during that time. We only wish we heard more good things about law enforcement (like this), as opposed to the other stuff.
Gospel. We only wish we heard more good things about law enforcement (like this), as opposed to the other stuff.Agreed. This negative stigma associated with peace officers in the US has become so staunch and spotlighted recently that it's difficult to promote the good, community-serving jobs most officers do.
