Trap card

Target 2 other face-up Spell/Trap Cards and 3 Set Spell/Trap Cards, on the field; destroy them.

Well, what are your thoughts on this interesting card ? It can put some decks at serious damage and i am guessing it can be used to trouble things like majespecters and pend decks ?

Plz Discuss.

Oh, hell, this actually seems really good. 2 scales and 2/3 backrow is pretty standard for Majespecter and you can always bulk up the numbers by popping one of your own cards because it's still a massive plus. It seems especially good in Kozmo because you can pop your own Town for added value, but this is definitely something to look into.

I tested with this card as a tech against some specter decks, this card really pushes them back almost beyond recovery for 1-2 turns.

I wouldn't say major. They're annoying, but pretty filmsy. And it's still a bad idea to sideboard hate against specifically one and one deck only, unless it's incredibly meta defining.

Well all the major players of the previous formats are almost out of the league now so i dont think fitting this in 1 or 2 spots would hurt the probability and viability of a deck in its coverage and matchups.

Oh don't get me wrong, I feel like preparing heavily against them is good, because they're a huge unknown factor. We know they weren't too hot in OCG, but now we're having a completly new format, so they might do something, or completly flop again. I just feel like this is a bit too narrow.

Doesn't EMinEm set a bunch of stuff as well post-Ariadne?

Yes but they also have strong monsters on board, by the time you can use the card if you cannot deal with monsters too, its pointless

The card work better for specters because they are slower, its a really good tech to take in consideration when you go against them, but again, you have to be in a really bad position to use it (full scales, or the field spell and 3 backrow), mask of restrict does a better job in my opinion

Sounds like par the course for a majespecter deck after getting off a pendulum summon.

Rarely. Mostly dependent upon what you draw. So not consistent against the deck, at all.

Especially since we have an Exclusive card that makes them battle-worthy in Moon Mirror Shield.

and an entire nobody will run it
