Description: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by offering as a tribute one "Dark Magician" and a Level 6 or higer Speelcaster-Type Monster, and can't be summoned in other ways. Once per turn, you can banish from your Graveyard a Speelcaster-Type Monster. this card gains as much ATK points as the ATK points of the banished Monster. If this card is destroyed, Special Summon a "Dark Magician" from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

Text fix:

This card Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by offering as a Tributing 1 "Dark Magician" and 1 Level 6 or higher Spellcaster-Type monster you control, and cannot be Summoned in other ways. Once per turn: You can banish from your Graveyard a Speelcaster-Type Monster 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your Graveyard; this card gains ATK points as the equal to the points banished monster's ATK. If this card is destroyed (either by battle or card effects): Special Summon 1 "Dark Magician" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

 

Okay . . . Sorcerer of Dark Magic-like monster with Dark Magician name in it, but lower ATK and DEF. (has BEWD ATK/DEF)

 

The effect is kinda . . . umm, yes it can reach 5K++ ATK, but with no protection in it makes it a bit weak. (considering a lot of monster removal todays, like Raigeki or Dark Hole . . . even Mirror Force) but well the last effect make up for it somehow.

 

Banishing isn't something you really want to do in DarkMagician.dek (dunno if you run Escape from the Different Dimension), maybe shuffling said monster from grave to the deck instead of banishing as a cost? Just a suggestion from me.

 

Also the easiest way i can think of summoning this is via Eternal Soul (either dump DM or add it by Legion) dunno if there's other easy way to summon this.

 

Overall, it's a fun card to play in a casual duel, so yes nice.

Anything specific you like about it?

But yeah, it has Sorcerer of Dark Magic conditions, however lower win stats and can only pump itself by banishing stuff.

As a sidenote, effect removal is very common nowadays, and while it can float when it dies, I think you can afford to give it some degree of negation-style effects.

 

Not something crazy, but at least some form of effect protection, so you can get some decent mileage out of this card before it goes.

Well yes, (I am NOT doing what Dae did from that "site is dying" topic) I actually like the design art and the effect. Creativity is something i just love. But I do think he could have added in something for a safeguard against certain effects and such that would make his card pointless. Or maybe at the very least a spell, trap, or lvl 4 or below monster that can go with it to make.it devestating. If there is any kind of effect that you should love to have is one that can easily turn the tides immensly in your favor. Personally, I would have made this monster a fusion with Dark Magician and another monster, but that's me.
