So, with Construct out of the picture, Shaddolls adopting engines of non-LIGHT Attributes seem like the next best thing. I have seen some ideas being thrown around, such as a Volcanic variant with access to Egrystal to lock Pendulum Summons, and I personally suspect that Shaddoll Heroes has potential (Winda + Dark Law?), but I decided to work with Traptrix first, since I had this deck for a while now but never found it strong enough to be competitive... until post-November 9 when it then may have actually a chance once the opposition (or at least most of it) gets drastically neutered.

 

Regarding Blazeman, ROTA and Poly, I took the idea from that article on Shaddolls posted in "TCG metagame" thread, and with El-Shaddoll Fusion hit to 1, they really need a Fusion Spell as soon as possible more than ever. Afterwards, I decided to tech Goblindbergh for an additional ROTA target, who not only can be used as material for Shekhinaga, but can also enable some plays by putting 1 more monster on the board and give access to the second effects of Traptrix in a pinch.

 

Side deck still feels messy. I put the Cydra~Chimeratech in there because it was suggested on Koko's "Resonator Fist" thread but I'm not comfortable with it taking so much space. Also I considered Vanity Fiend but I don't know how effective it would be.

I think investing in MC2 won't go amiss TBH you can tool Blazeman from the deck or go for Law both are quite good

 

I did try it but it felt really impractical. Ideally you want it when you have a DARK Shaddoll available and can afford the discard, but that turned out to be too situational, and maining non-DARK Masked Heroes to patch that up feels subpar when Goka is unimpressive and Dian wouldn't have any targets to pick from the Deck, not to mention that the Extra Deck is tight already. I suspect MC2 would be much more effective in a HERO-focused variant, but not in this one.

 

 

No need for 2 fortress dragons.

 

I see. I can drop the 2nd one. Any suggestions or ideas of what to add in its place? Perhaps a 3rd Iron Wall.

Ah, I thought you meant the 2nd Dragon for the side Deck, after taking out the Chimeratech.

Thing is, as much as I have wanted a 2nd Dragon to mill when the single copy is already on my hand or field, sometimes it gets in the way when the only Shaddoll I have to fuse with is Dragon but there is no Spell/Trap to destroy, so I can't get extra value from the Fusion Summon. I may test it at 2 again eventually, but for now I would rather keep it on the side Deck for Pendulum-based matchups.

Summoner Monk was big in OCG when SAT was a deck, maybe consider that? Seeing that deck essentially has free spells in the mirrors

 

Also an idea I had that I never quite got to testing was Volcanic Shell, I know you said you didn't really like MC2, but post Magican Winda+Grysta is a legit lock and you have free twin twister fodder if nothing else

I like the idea of Summoner monk: Doubles as a searcher for Blazeman, pseudo-fixes hands with too many Fusion Spells but not enough monsters, enables Myrmeleo's second effect. It will also be a Dark Renewal target once it reaches TCG. I will give it a try.

 

Volcanic Shell, however, not only I don't think I can make space for it, but also I would rather leave it to a more Volcanic-based variant that runs the whole bundle (Rocket, Accelerator, etc.)
