Pokémon Z

Hey guys,

So, let's talk about the rumor of Pokémon Z, Like a lot of people, I was underwhelmed by the news at E3. I was hoping they'd announce a Pokémon game, but they didn't. However, the topic is the rumored game Pokémon Z. Many fans have speculated that Pokémon Z is happening. I didn't believe it at first, but when I saw the pictures at CoroCoro Magazine, to me, it pretty much confirmed it. What do you guys think? I'm not sure where to find the article, but here's a source from Serebii.net

I could probably argue that they'd usually only do 2 main releases per generation; this one being X/Y and OR/AS.

Though if I remember, Gen 3 did have Ruby/Sapphire released first and then Emerald at a later time, so might happen.

Would make sense though, since I don't think Nintendo wants to write separate game patches for the existing games, just to incorporate Zygarde's new forms.

(If they do appear, will probably just be the 10% and 100% forms)

Plus, it would give them time to refine the mechanics introduced in X/Y for a better experience. Who knows, Z might take stuff from the upcoming series (which we don't know yet).

-----

Then again, would make sense that they make another main series game for Gen 6, given that we're not done with the series yet (we just started XY&Z).

Here, I think I got another example. Gen 4 had Diamond/Pearl and then they did Platinum, so yeah. Also, I know Nintendo tends to keep things "hush, hush" by putting Easter Eggs in games to tease us, but I also feel like they don't say anything, they just show us the answer by trailers ans whatever else they release.

Oh wait, they did that with the first four generations (RB/Y, GS/C, RS/E, DP/Pt).

Gen 5 just did paired remakes of themselves for their second release.

Though, some guys do hack the games and find stuff that we wouldn't have known (such as Volcanion's data in there, and no known way to get it in-game, and Mega Eons prior to their official release in OR/AS).

That would be a really hard argument to make. Gens 1, 2, and 5 have 2 and 3 and 4 have 3. Since it wouldn't make sense for Gens 1 and 2 to have remakes we've really only have 5 as the odd one out. You can argue that every Gen so far has had the main game get a follow up version though.

R/B -> Y

G/S -> C

R/S -> E

D/P -> Plat

B/W -> B2/W2

So it stands to reason

X/Y -> Z

As for the remake order R/S -> FR/LG -> E and D/P -> Plat -> HG/SS.

Honestly, while Z is just about a sure thing we don't know ANYTHING about it other than the new forms. Since those could easily get added to XY/ORAS I'd rather hold off on having a thread on Z until its officially announced. So I'm going to lock this. In the mean time your free to talk Pokemon in the ORAS thread, including the new forms.
