Luna Yumizuki
E-erm... I was wondering why this card isn't used in "Performapal". In the deck my friend built for me, she used 3 copies of "Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer" and I am confused why she didnt include any copies of "Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon". "Ignister" seems weird because you need one specific card to use it, which is "Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer". Is running Rune-Eyes a good idea? Yes? No? Which one, YCM? ~Faytl~
You need Odd-Eyes to make Rune-Eyes, and the top variants of the deck don't run it. Simple as that, Rlly.
Lizardonx
What spellcasters are you using to summon it? If they're the pendulum magicians vortex is too good to pass up. Luster pendulum is actually a really good card despite it being so limited in what it can summon and non targeting spinning gets around almost everything. Being able to use your opponent's pendulums to pay the cost for ignister's effect is also really good.
Ryusei the Morning Star
No cause I'd rather run Vortex if I was being forced to run odd eyes

Luna Yumizuki
I run 3 copies of "Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer" and 3 "Performapal Skullcrobat Joker". Is that not enough?
Lizardonx
If you're going to be using pendulums for the spellcaster req you're almost always better off with Vortex.
Luna Yumizuki
If you're going to be using pendulums for the spellcaster req you're almost always better off with Vortex. But wouldnt the ability to inflict a lot of damage be better? The objective of winning in this game is to reduce your opponent's Life Point to zero, right? Not to mention, "Rune-Eyes" has built-in protection... Not to mention, "Rune-Eyes" has built-in protection...Well, yes, it has built in protection, but only for that turn. As soon as you end your turn, you opponent can destroy him Also considering that a facedown that can stop his attacks without affecting him can mess up the attempt to kill them on that turn, and give them a extra turn to get over Rune Eyes. Basically, it's usually better to have monster that can get rid of the opponents' options than to have one that only dishes out damage. That's why they suggest Vortex. 玄魔の王
The only time this is better than Vortex is if you need to OTK, since it does have high damage output. The only other time is against Clear Wing, since that makes Vortex cry.
