So yeah, another version of 'specters with the additions from BOSH.

I am well aware that some of you dislike the Deck, but please act civil in this thread and critique properly.

 

I am using this on YGOPro at present.

 

One of my main concerns here while building this was: Should I run 3 MST or 3 Eccentric?

To be fair, MST can chain during the opponent's turn [whereas Eccentric cannot], but Eccentric can pop monsters too, and is recurrable via the Scales.

 

In the end, I decided to take the Eccentrics, along with having 2 MST as a sort of back support.

 

Regarding my (side deck) which I don't use (because I mostly play singles), it's basically options that I am not sure what to do with.

Unicorn is nice for bouncing potential threat members, but I'd need to rely on Eccentric for P-Summoning it.

 

Storm is cool, being another Castel, but I felt it to be a bit slow during test runs.

Still testing it out on the sidelines to see if it's worth adding it back; I usually play Cyclone most of the time anyway.

 

(I've yet to use Sonic though, but at present, can't seem to find space for it. Would be nice to run over bigger stuff that I'd normally have to Xyz Summon to do same thing.)

 

Wavering Eyes was needed in the previous version, but since I don't need to worry about running Unicorn in here, I don't think I will need to reset my Scales as much. But still, it does help with grabbing Raccoon or whatever I need if it isn't on hand (and deals with opposing mirrors when needed).

 

[Well, provided that Dinoster is up; but I haven't used it because coding is buggy (or simply doesn't work, even if I have the requirements up). Will need to look into it.]

 

 

 I would like to build Majespecters IRL, but since KoA decided to make half the Deck foils for whatever reason [see Raccoon and the support cards], it won't be in an affordable range.

 

(This is one reason I would love to find a dealer down here with the JP versions, as they're Common + should be much cheaper to buy. Though we shall see how expensive stuff is, come November 6th).

And what about Solemn Notice? (like in the case you'd rather keep the Majespecter you have for another backrow/meat wall/etc, or you have none)

They do the same thing.

 

3 Ignister Dracoslayer/double of most of the Xyz seems excessive, and you still have 1 free slot in your ED.

Why not tech stuff like 101/Exciton/Abyss Dweller/39 -> S39/Ptol -> Diamond or R5s (like Azzathoth for locking them on their turn) for example?

1. The double ATK is nice for running things over, but as I mentioned, haven't yet found room for it. (Ideally, would like to keep the Deck at 40 cards so I can draw things when needed)

 

2. Probably the only reason I've not used Notice is likely due to the LP thing, but that shouldn't be a deterrent.

(Then again, I did mention in the thread that I'd probably run 1-2 copies of it in whatever Deck can afford it. And yeah, I would like to keep monsters on board so I can block things)

 

3. Triple Ignister is pretty much there to break opposing Scales and stuff (though that is somewhat situational; most times I end up popping one of my own 'mons, but they get recurred later).

 

Double Majester basically lets me search more stuff out; Castel is self-explanatory (for bouncing).

 

Out of fairness, I really don't use the duplicate copies of the other Xyz in there [Totem only exists so I can make stuff with Raccoon/Cat if needed; might be replaced with Break Sword once DN gets that (I could probably swap one copy out.]

 

I considered 101, but I also recall Black mentioning that it isn't as great a couple months back.

 

Abyss would be a good addition here, especially since Graveyard effects do tend to piss me off (after recent run-ins with Monarchs and others).

 

Haven't considered Ptolemaeus, but locking the opponent during their turn would be nice when making Azathoth (I haven't seen the Majespecter decks on DN, so probably going to assume that's part of the reason why people hate them).
