Deck is a lot stronger with Monkeyboard. Like really, I don’t think, in an absence of Chain, that the Performage engine really does anything here. Ariadne does it better as a 3-of with completely generic survivability/answer cards attached. Drawing them isn’t even bad, and drawing Ariadne is a gem.

I will say that the deck is somewhat preliminary. I haven't had a ton of chances to test it yet, just a good handful.

Some things of note, as I did post a deck guide not too long ago:

Odd-Eyes stuff was cut to make room for Ariadne and her pals, which gives the deck a bit of needed defense. It’s a shame, but c’est la vie.

If you open a way to PS Luster, a Level 4 Pendulum, and any given Pendulum you can go Felgrand while shoving 4 cards into your ED.

That said, Dinoster and Master are both rather underwhelming. While useful, Dinoster only really shines for the Felgrand play or Dracoslayer OTK, being meh in general. Hence one copy. And master is only really GOOD if you draw Ariadne or you get it off of Ignister.

There are 2 “dead” slots in the deck. That is to say, 2 slots that I just can’t find the best card for. Those would be Drumerrilla and the second copy of Master Pendulum. I want a searchable 2 scale off of Sorc… but I rarely need it. I want a third Friendonkey… but it’s not good on turns that you want to PS Ariadne. Master Pendulum is only okay… but it’s a great combo extender with Ignister. Camelump funking sucks unless you max him so he synergizes with Luster, and that has its own issues. And so on. Help with the dead slots would be nice, as nothing I put in there seems to change anything on the whole.

Seven Tools because of Majespecters and Ariadne. Don’t want to shuffle sheet back. Tech slot. Also takes out Skill Drain, Mistake, and other such nuisances. I’d probably side it at the least, as it’s a searchable answer to those cards.

IDK how I feel about Exciton, because I’m almost never going to be able to resolve it without Pendulum Summoning, and that grants a lot of free advantage.

Feel free to ask/comment on anything, and let us wait for the inevitable announcement of Sorcerer being in BOSH-TCG.

Ariadne is so out of place in this deck, especially at 3.

 

Woops, forgot its monster effect, its not too bad.

It's extremely good. Your chances of winning in hands with her are much higher, and she even goes off if her summon is negated by Notice/Warning.

 

2 Master P feels like a tad much to me.

 

No wavering? I suppose Sorcerer fills that gap anyway, but wavering has insane power in the pendulum mirror.

I did say I was unsure what else to use in that slot, as wel las another.

 

Wavering only really shines, maindeck wise, in decks that can consistently gain benefit from it. Qli and Performage variants are the examples of such. Majespecter and Purepal, however, are the opposite, as Wavering is much more dead than live. Sure you technically gain benefit from it always, but you need to get a lot of value to mitigate the potential to be dead early.

Black-kun, you never fail to impress with Performapals as your strong suit. 

 

I really like Master Pendulum's use with Ariadne since it gets out Notice very quickly. Wavering Eyes is okay to not run if you maximize your Dracoslayer consistency since you won't be immediately gratified with zone popping unless it's on Ariadne or on other monsters.

 

Given the minimal amount of Traps you might be using, could Solemn Scolding be a tech? That is unless you really get off the Counter searches that well.

I cut the dead slots and Exciton (Who, tbh, is impossible to summon here without a PS or a T1 Majester that survived while you have a Master Pendulum in ED) for a bit more backrow and an enabler for it.

 

Everything is hopeful TCG post-BOSH, without only Sorcerer being unknown, legality wise.

 

Considering cutting down on one Secondonkey, but such a small change, and I really just want a good low-scale Performapal in that slot. Sadly, there are 2 of those, and they're both maxed out.

 

I also notice the shift in playstyle slightly, and it causes me to make misplays. So used to searching Friendonkey constantly after/during T1, but that's only 50% of the time now.

 

King Feral is also on my shitlist, sorta. Probably will end up cutting it soon, as Raff/CDI/Majester are just better T1, usually, and that's when King is best.
