TRUE RULER^(Imper.Di )
Rare Fish "Fusionist" + "Enchanting Mermaid" This comparatively weak monster requires 2 Fusion Material Monster. One of which requires 2 material monsters. This means that Rare Fish is among the worst 4 material monsters in the game if not the absolute worst. Good thing its OCG exclusive, right? It's on Duel Portal now too! I actually like Rare Fish's art, which is its only redeeming quality outside of being BAIT for instant fusion and metamorphosis. I am in the process of creating an archetype to make Rare Fish and the other Fish-Type Fusions playable, hopefully they'll become borderline competitive. BUT I NEED COMMUNITY FEEDBACK! [spoiler=Custom Fusions, and Marine Beast] [spoiler=Marine Beast] [spoiler=Yamatuna, the Rare Fish][spoiler=Koiamut, the Rare Fish][spoiler=Mantaluci, the Rare Fish][spoiler=Pipyf, the Rare Fish][spoiler=Roelicnth, the Rare Fish] [spoiler=] Issues and Solutions:1. How will I Summon these Fish-Type Fusions? [spoiler=By going fishing, duh.][spoiler=Skilled Fisher] [spoiler=Lore]M: A player can only control 1 "A Rather Skilled Fisher". (1) Once per turn you can reveal this card in your hand to return a face-up Continuous Spell or Pendulum Spell on the field to the owner's deck, and if you do, Special Summon this monster. (2) When this monster is Summoned: you can reveal a Non-Effect Fish-Type monster from your Extra Deck, and if it has Material Monsters listed in its card text: you can add 1 appropriate Monster from your deck or graveyard to your hand; it cannot be used as a Material Monster this turn except for the Summon of a Fish-Type monster. Shuffle the remaining cards into the deck. [spoiler=Awkward Fisher] [spoiler=Lore]M: FLIP: Reveal 1 Non-Effect Fish-Type monster in your Extra Deck to your opponent, then apply 1 of the following: ? Add from your deck to your hand 1 appropriate Fusion Material Monster; you cannot use a monster of the same name as the added card as a Material Monster this turn except for the Summon of a Fish-Type Fusion Monster.? Send from your field or hand to the graveyard 1 of the appropriate Material monsters, then Special Summon the revealed monster.P: (1) You can destroy this card to add 1 "Umi" from your graveyard to your hand. (2) Level 3 Fish-Type Fusion Monsters can attack directly. Also, you receive no Battle Damage from a battle involving Level 3 Fish-Type monsters. (3) Level 4 Fish-Type Fusion Monsters gain 300 ATK and 400 DEF. Also, Fish-Type monsters with an original DEF of 1200 can attack twice during your Battle Phase. (4) When a Level 5 or higher Fish-Type Fusion monster is Summoned: return 1 card on the field to the hand. [spoiler=Curious Fisher] [spoiler=Lore]M: (1) After an effect resolves that revealed a Fish-Type monster from the Extra Deck: you can Special Summon this monster (from your hand). (2) When this card is Summoned: you can reveal 1 Non-Effect Fish-Type monster in your Extra Deck to your opponent, then apply 1 of the following:? If the revealed monster has Material Monsters listed in its card text: Tribute 1 "Fisher" monster you control and send from your field or hand to the graveyard 1 of the appropriate Material monsters, then Special Summon the revealed monster; It gains 700 ATK.? Reveal the top 5 cards of your deck, you can add from among those revealed cards 1 WATER monster with a Level that is less than the level of the revealed monster.P: (1) You cannot Pendulum Summon Effect Monsters from your hand. (2) Once per turn when a Non-Effect Fish-Type Fusion monster you control would be destroyed: destroy a card your opponent controls instead. If you destroy a monster using this effect: destroy this card. [spoiler=Casual Fisher] [spoiler=Lore]M: 1) You can discard this card from your hand to add 1 "Umi" from your deck to your hand. (2) While there is a face-up "Umi" on the field: you can move this face-up card to the graveyard to Special Summon a Non-Effect Fish-Type Fusion monster from your graveyard.P: (1) When you activate this card: add 1 WATER monster with 1400 ATK or less from your deck to your hand except for "A Rather Casual Fisher". For the rest of the turn, you cannot use a monster of the same name as the added card as a Material Monster except for the Summon of a Fish-Type Fusion Monster. (2) Fish-Type Fusion monsters gain 500 ATK and DEF. Also, your Non-Effect Fish-Type Fusion monsters cannot be removed from the field by the effect of a card your opponent controls. [spoiler=Naive Fisher][spoiler=Lore]When this monster is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Reveal 1 Level 4 or lower Non-Effect Fish-Type monster in your Extra Deck to your opponent, then apply 1 of the following: ? Add from your deck to your hand 1 appropriate Fusion Material Monster.? Tribute this monster, then Special Summon the revealed monster. [spoiler=Unexpected Fisher]When this monster is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Reveal 1 Level 5 or higher Non-Effect Fish-Type monster in your Extra Deck to your opponent, then apply 1 of the following: ● Add from your deck to your hand 1 appropriate Fusion Material Monster; you cannot use a monster of the same name as the added card as a Material Monster this turn except for the Summon of a Fish-Type Fusion Monster.●Send from your field or hand to the graveyard 1 of the appropriate Material monsters, then Special Summon the revealed monster. "Fishing" allows you to search for Material Monsters and/or Fusion Summon using only 1 appropriate Fusion Material (and no Polymerization). Field Spell: [spoiler=Lore]This card's name is treated as "Umi". (1) Defense Position Fish-Type Fusion Monsters gain DEF equal to their Level x250. (2) Attack Position Fish-Type Fusion Monsters gain ATK equal to their Level x200.
