Tsumugi-chan
[spoiler=Version 1.1] [spoiler=Version 1.0] I've never played this game before, so I hope I did alright for my first try! I used some guides online, as well as the advice of my friends here to make this deck! Please provide me some feedback, because I don't really know how well I did! Bringerofcake
You've got a pretty decent foundation, you just need to trim some fat. Snake Whistle can't activate in the Damage Step, so you can just go right ahead and drop it. Also, drop rabbit and mother, and add in 2 copies of Unexpected Dai, which fills Rabbit's role better. You did right by King of the Feral Imps, but having more searchable cards means you don't have to run so much of them, so dropping Telepath is a good idea (especially since, IIRC, it can only use opponent's A-Counters, which is not something you want to rely on, since your opponent will probably be trying to play around that.) Some useful cards are ones that are continuous (a la Call of the Haunted/Code "A") or leave themselves on the field (like Swords of Revealing Light). Also, strong generic cards, like Raigeki, Mystical Space Typhoon, or Solemn Warning are also not bad cards to run. (be sure to run more than 1 MST though). Bringerofcake
How does dai work better than rabbit..? It is a +0, while rabbit is a +1, and rabbit is less situationalDai doesn't become automatically dead when you pull other copies of shock out of the deck (Triangle) or if you draw too many shocktroopers and you can run more copies of it than rabbit, making it a more consistent option. it also doesn't eat your normal summon, which Aliens need really badly, as well as syngergizes with Ammonite on that same normal summon. Tsumugi-chan
Hmm...I am going to take both of your pieces of advice into account and drop 2 Telepaths for 2 copies of Unexpected Dai, and trade out the 3 Snake Whistles for 3 Fiendish Chains. I didn't know Telepath only worked on just the opponent's monsters, and that Snake Whistle couldn't go on the Damage Step, so I think these cards will work better. Anything else I should modify about the deck?
Darj
I'm not too keen on the Snake Whistles and Mother; you could drop them to add generic cards such as backrow, the aforementioned Sword of Light for Gol'gar loop, or a 3rd Offerings. Speaking of loops, there is that Gol'gar + Deck Lockdown loop, which can practically give you the win against certain decks; just pointing this out for you to consider it.Also, isn't "Planet Pollutant Virus" one of their best cards? I don't know, but I guess you could give it a try. I'm not a fan of x3 kages: whenever I tried it at 3, it clogged way too often for my liking. 2 copies should be enough, in my opinion. Finally, I thought monsters would have access to 1~3 forbidden cards; you could inquire about that with the event organizers.

And I guess I could also go down to 2 Kagetokages to add a third Offering. Also, I am not familiar with this Deck Lockdown Loop you mentioned. Could you possibly elaborate, or link to somewhere that does?
Darj
It's simple, really. Just get Gol'gar and Deck Lockdown on the field at the same time, and every turn bounce Lockdown back to your hand with Golg'ar's effect, use your searching or Triangle plays if available, and then activate Deck Lockdown again, to effectively lock the opponent from adding or summoning monsters from the Deck. Then again, it won't be as effective against decks that don't rely on searching or summoning straight from the Deck, and I suppose "Mistake" is a bit more reliable albeit a bit slower and less stronger, so running it or not it's up to you. Bringerofcake
also, it's not recommended to have rescue rabbit and unexpected dai in the same deck, since using one drastically decreases the chances of using the other.
Tsumugi-chan
Alright, then. I guess I can reduce Call and Chain to 2 each, which would give me room to put in 2 Deck Lockdowns. So which should I run? Rescue Rabbit or Unexpected Dai? Because I am thinking on adding Swords of Revealing Light as well.
Bringerofcake
There are strong arguments to either side, but I personally like dai.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I feel I need to point out the decks are not supposed to be optimized they're supposed to reflect the Monster as best as possible. Therefore the only ones who can help are those who know the show.Go ask Zai for advice if anything. Tsumugi-chan
After talking with Zai...I will keep this deck, but simply not make it optimal. Any suggestions on how to go about that, but still make it functional? Or should I just go with Greydles or Worms?

Darj
Hmm, if you want to drop the power level, then Worms should do the trick. And yes, monsters get to play 3 banned cards, so pick and add them in. Just don't ask me which ones, because I have no idea; you can choose from all-around good cards such as Pot of Greed, to floodgates such as Imperial Order and Royal Oppression, or you can take your chances with Sixth Sense, and so on.
