Rip Quasar.

Let me know what you think of this card. (Limited to 1 copy). Should I also add an effect where it can't be drawn into or added to your hand like RUM7th1?

Banish 15 cards from your extra deck face-down and pay half your lifepoints.

-Target one card in your opponent's extra deck, special summon that monster to your side of the field ignoring it's summoning restrictions. That monster can not declare an attack or activate it's effects the turn it is summoned. (This summon is treated as a fusion, synchro, or xyz summon according to the targeted monster).

If the summoned monster is an xyz monster, attach this card to it as xyz material.

When that monster leaves the field, banish it.

"Ultimate Soul Steal" can only be activated once per match.

I think the costs are a bit too much, since your opponent isn't that likely to have anything really impressive in their extra anyways, and it does give them one turn to deal with whatever you stole. Maybe you should take out the 'banish entire extra deck' cost and allow it to be activated once per duel.

You could also restrict special summoning the turn you activate this card or something.

No offense, but this isn't realistic, at all, given that "once per match" has never been used in a real card, aka it's not realistic. Now, onto the card itself, it's shite, as said before, destroy your extra deck for some random Xyz / Fusion / Synchro that will not be good enough in the long run regardless of what you're Summoning.

Sure it has a few powerful targets (ie CDI etc. etc.), but having such a little tray of targets makes this horrible and not even slightly worth the cost that it has on you for it to resolve and has little to no rewards.

All right, I was also thinking of using this with a pendulum deck to help with the banishing. Or a monarch deck for lols.

Idk, maybe I've seen too many quasars and Calamities etc recently.

I wanted to start with 'the biggest drawbacks' and then, if others thought it was too costly I could adjust it from there.

So changes include:

Once per duel, banish <10 cards from extra deck, and add a different restriction not allowing the player to special summon other monsters that turn.

Does this seem more reasonable?
