Pokemon Gijinka: The Fallen God [IC/PG-16/Not Accepting]

Adarid Team Karaoke

Lok closed his eyes, preparing himself for the worst. However, instead of a savage attack, the strong gijinka spoke rather softly. Lok looked up at the strange man. "Ah, not..really, though." Gwen smiled at the boy. "He may as well be." Lok chuckled, letting go of Gwen. He was relieved that things had ended well as he told the group that he would not fight them. "We should leave yes. This place is far too dangerous as it is. You, um, Godslayer, I do hope you..." A Godslayer? It made enough sense, considering how strong he was. Lok shuddered at the realization that this man might of been just as strong, if not stronger, than the Xatu they had fought before.

Gwen and Fiona went over to pick up a Charizard that Lok hadn't seen before. "Nope, not me, never saw you before, must be someone else." Fiona reacted nervously to the Godslayer's question. He recalled how Fiona had acted before when they first saw the Godslayer, and what the legendary that was here had said before about her. Did they have some sort of history? It wouldn't surprise Lok, considering what little he knew about the girl. Whatever happened, he could tell it would probably be bad news if he recognized her.

"S-Say, mister... uh..." He started without thinking, trying to divert his attention away from Fiona. He was just now realizing that he hadn't actually caught the man's name. The stranger's head suddenly jolted towards him, causing Lok to jump a bit. "Ehehe, I was j-just wondering, since you're a Godslayer and all... you wouldn't... happen to know where I could find Hoopa?" He asked meekly, his voice strained from how nervous he was.

"If I knew that they'd be dead." He responded bluntly, still looking at him.

"O-oh... that makes sense." Lok looked down nervously, slightly dejected. Although he wasn't actually trying to get information, not getting it was a bit of a let down. "W-well, thank you anyways!" He chuckled nervously.

The stranger gave the boy a confused look. "Why are you thanking me?"

"H-huh?" He looked up at the man. "Oh, for answering my question! Even if you didn't give me a-any information, you still answered me, so..." The man still seemed confused. "I-I guess what I mean is, like, you gave me your attention and answered my question... or something like that... even if your answer didn't help all that much, I still appreciate that you answered me..." He shrugged. "I'm not the best at explaining these types of things..."

"I...have not been thanked before." He seemed unsure how to process what just happened and, for a moment, almost seemed defenseless.

"R-really?" He slowly moved closer. "Well... I guess there's a first time for everything, huh mister..." He paused for a second. "... sorry, I don't think I caught your name. I'm Lok." He extended his hand, giving the man a smile, although he was still clearly nervous about the whole situation.

The stranger looked at the hand. "What is this? A challenge?"

Lok nearly jumped at the man's words. "N-no! It's a... hand shake..." Lok gave the man a confused and nervous look. It seemed he did not understand the concept of a handshake. "I-It's kind of like a greeting! We grab each others hands and move them up and down..." He chuckled a bit. "When I explain it like that it sounds kind of dumb now that I think about it..."

"Very well. I will...greet you." The man reached out and grabbed his hand with the most firm handshake Lok has ever had the misfortune of receiving. He restrained himself from yelping in pain as he tried his hardest to return the grip, although it was to no avail. The massive hand was practically crushing Lok's less-than-manly hand under its mighty fingers.

"I-It's a pleasure t-to meet you." He said, voice slightly strained. While he was in a lot of pain, things had definitely gone a lot better than he had expected them to.

Icecrown Team Showdown

"There's supposed to be treasure here." Isole reminded them. "Jewels of some kind. Probably worth a lot." She shrugged. "Seems a big hassle to me..." Scarlet still wasn't satisfied with this. The idea of just treasure and jewels being guarded like that wasn't something she was willing to buy into, especially when it is already in the middle of a hostile mountain. Her train of thought was cut off by thundering sounds. They were getting close.

When they got there, Scarlet saw Taiga rushing towards a rather feral looking Abomasnow. Or at least she did, before she seemingly disappeared as she took to the air as a blue blur. She watched in awe as Taiga continued to disappear and reappear all around her opponent. Eventually Taiga appeared behind her foe. "I call it the 'Taiga Typhoon'!" She put a hand to her mouth watching the Gijinka, hopefully despairing at this point. "You're already dead! FUFUFUFUFUFU!"

"Not bad." Scarlet commented, taking a battle-ready stance, preparing herself to enter the fray.

"It's like magic! You know lots Fawkes. It's fun! You should try too Fawkes!"

"N-No thanks." If Fawkes was being honest, she still wasn't sure how to feel about meeting new people, at least in the cases where those people wouldn't be joining them on their adventure. There didn't seem to be much point of it if she'd only know them for a day or two before taking off, quite possibly after the destruction of their city at this rate. What would she even talk about with somebody she didn't even know anyway? Fawkes didn't have much time to ponder on it before Dora wobbled, and fell off the see-saw. Fawkes did plan to reach out and help break Dora's fall, but just before she got to make good on her intent, a pink light gently carried Dora the rest of the way down. That must have been the Skitty's work.

"Was that you? Wait wait Fawkes was that YOU?"

Fawkes barely had time to answer "It wasn't me," before an old Torkoal arrived on the scene too. Seemed he knew the Skitty in question. The old man's attention then turned to Dora and Fawkes.

"And who are you?"

He looked suspicious of the two. Fawkes knew a suspicious look when she saw one. "J, Just visitors," Fawkes hesitantly answered. "To Mioter I mean. We're here with some adults obviously, but we got split off from them and we should really be going to find them." The Zorua followed up with a subtle nudge of the elbow into Dora, accompanied by a hushed "Come on, I'm sure they're worried sick about us."

Brooke nodded and thanked Sada, but no sooner had the feeling of satisfaction at getting what she wanted settled in her gut, she realized that Fawkes and Dora were still missing. “sheet,” she shouted louder than she had originally intended to, getting a few dirty looks, but she was already sprinting away before anyone was able to say anything.

She flew through the street, following the scent of Easter and Denku, the trail easier to follow because they had walked that way more recently. She found the two with a gijinka she didn’t recognize, who immediately turned to greet her when she showed up.

Brooke gave him a strange look. Their children? Oh no, they didn’t…

Easter morphed his face into a concerned frown. "Yes, we're ever so worried," his lower lip wobbled. "I'm afraid I got distracted, took my eyes off them for one second, and now..." he sniffed, glancing at Denku. "Darling, do you think we should follow the nice man? It seems he knows his way around better than we do, anyway." He looked at Brooke, "And yes, she's with us. You could say she's the primary mother. We're ever so open-minded, you see."

Oh yes. They did. Brooke was completely still, expression unreadable. She was too old for this sheet. She had almost found her voice to put an end to Easter’s shenanigans when Denku joined in.

"... Don't call me Darling in front of others...," He muttered in such a way that could be interpreted as embarrassment. Technically, he was, but more so that he had to say that sentience rather than being called it. "Fine, we can follow him. Keep your hands to yourself though," He added as a slight tease, although his voice stayed level. "Let's get moving.”

Nope, she wasn’t dealing with this. This was their game to play, and she was making sure she made a wide berth between her and it. She just followed along silently, more focused on Fawkes and Dora and doing the very best she could to act like she didn’t know her two compatriots.

Marie was livid about the rock gijinka throwing stones at Randy as she essentially dismissed their comments. While she was about to shout, both in rage at the tyranitar and in concern for Randy, there were no words that left her mouth as she was made simply awestruck by what happened next. Marie briefly forgot the foul mouthed woman she had just nursed and told off, as she saw Moltres speed forward and crash into the chaser. Wings of fire that could only be described as gorgeous had sprouted from her back, and the girl seemed ready to fight. Marie continued to look agape until she let out a simple, "whoa." It was then that Randy had seemed to move in to take the battle to the person that called themselves "godslayer," which was not a very nice name and reminded her of some of the more...out there, kids that she knew of from back home. While it seemed that she was able to beat back the Incineroar with ease, Marie continued to watch the fight onward. She was torn. On the one hand, this was far beyond a playground fight and was thus dangerous. And doing dangerous things was wrong and should be avoided. But on the other hand, she felt an adrenaline rushing through her watching these people go at it. Not sure what to do, the girl stayed near Keanu, where she continued to watch the fight in silence.

While Jabari no longer seemed like he had any quarrel with the group, Nine couldn't help but feel on edge still. The man was a godslayer, and intended to continue his actions as one beyond this. Nine wasn't entirely sure he was ready to just let sleeping dogs lie here, and had no desire to go to blows with this man again for more reasons than one. His attention briefly hovered over to Fiona and Gwendoline, the former of which seeming to be familiar with Jabari, which made Nine wonder things all the more. Sure he had only met two, and there was presumably a third out there. But how large and how unified a group were they? The thought of it sent a chill down Nine's spine as he wondered just how much further down this rabbit hole went, yet all the same, worrying about it now would do nothing. Instead, there was someone else that required his attention, and someone else that caught him completely off-guard. As Lok began to talk to him, it occurred to Nine that Jabari probably didn't have much of a life outside of fighting. Realizing this, it made a bit more sense to Nine as to why he would be so adamant about fighting. With a small smile on his face, Nine said, "see, kid's not so bad. And you could definitely do worse for a person to make friends with."

"We are not friends. Friends can do nothing for me; why would I waste my time making them?" Jabari looked somewhat angered at Nine's implication.

"Hm, is that so?" Nine's smirk seemed to fade as he said, "and here I thought this would be a prime example of just what being friendly with a person could do for a guy," he gestured around the battlefield.

"All I see is a failed task."

"I'd call this more a success." Nine's tone was matter of fact, and didn't even seem to be referring to himself as he said this.

"How can you say that?" Jabari took an angry step towards the Houndoom. "A failure is a failure and I don't have many failures left..."

Nine stood his ground as he said, "well, contrary to what I thought, we're all still alive aren't we? No one had to mourn our loss and no one else had to be dragged into this fight in our stead."

"I am already dead! All that I have left is to complete my quest." Electricity crackled around Jabari's body. "It doesn't matter what I destroy along the way. If I can change the world for her then it will be worth it. But if I fail...I sold my soul for nothing. Tell me, you who stood so comfortably near a Legend, tell me what you know."

"There we go again," Nine muttered. "I don't think you caught what I said. You care for someone deeply, that much is evident. And if they mean that much to you, then you probably mean as much to them. I told you that here is an example of what caring for another can do." He gestured to the ragged forms of himself, Clotilde, Gwendoline and Vita. "If you die, or keep throwing yourself at those kinds of situations, what do you think she'll do?"

"No matter what happens there is no ending where I survive. I might as well do something with the life I have left. Are you going to tell me what I need to know, or not?"

With a defiant look in his eyes he said, "I have. There is no world on this current road of yours that ends with her happy. If you need to know what to do with your life, to bring about a real change, then make them happy with the time you have left, not sorrowful of the time you won't."

"None of us have any time left." Jabari said. There was a look in his eyes different from before. Where once his gaze was passionate he now looked...lifeless. "The world is going to change one way or another. All I can do now is ensure she will be in it when it does."

Nine was taken aback by the sudden shift in demeanor of the Zebstrika, and the far more literal sense he seemed to be talking with. Despite his lack of passion, or because of it, Jabari's words seemed to carry far more gravity behind them as Nine became aware that this went beyond just a misguided group of Chasers. Curious about what he was saying, the man decided to question him further.  "And so you believe that slaying legends will ensure this?"

"It is the only way to be on the side who will determine what the next world will be." Jabari glared, though not at Nine directly, before adding. "And these so called Legends have forfeited their right to be worshipped by letting the world come to this."

"And what gives this "side" the right to change the world as it pleases?"

"If they are strong enough to change it then that is all the right they need. They will ensure a future for her and that is all the reason I need."

"Then," Nine was unsure what exactly he was being told. He was unsure what exactly it was  he was feeling, thinking, or even saying. What a godslayer was seemed far beyond what Nine could handle at the moment, yet, he still spoke. "If you want you or someone you care about to be happy, you shouldn't leave that change to someone else." He pointed to himself saying, "you said before that I'm someone who stood comfortably near a legend, but that's wrong. I'm a Chaser, I find legends to learn from them, to understand our world, so that I can gain that right to change the world in the way I want to, myself. One that keeps us all safe. I'm not just going to comfortably stand around and let someone else decide what that world is, I'll chase it."

Team Alola, Day 7, Northshore

"Without the Legends? I think you underestimate the influence they hold...held, but no more!" The Tyranitar made her statement after their exchange of blows. "Ha, you think that's good?" She said in response to Randy's expression. "Back in Trailsau something like that was common. Let me show you how it's really done!"

The sand that had gathered up around the girl suddenly erupted and covered the area, buffeting the group with its particles, as the Tyranitar looked to Randy. Her face twisted into an unnaturally horrifying visage for a moment and Randy would feel the effects of this attack as his body was slowed down. As the Tyranitar started forward, Stone Edge forming, the sand vanished and the sun shone especially hot. "Wha...Damn!" She said, turning into the direction of Moltres.

The woman was smoldering in all senses of the word. "You dare to ignore me? Your arrogance can only go so far! Now feel the power of the sun!" She gathered energy swiftly in her hand and launched a Solar Beam at the Tyranitar.

She swiped the Stone Edge at it instinctively. The edge struck the beam but wasn't able to stop the full force and she was hit by the powerful, albeit weakened, attack.

The Tyranitar grunted and the sand began to form again, and she took a deep breath as her aura flared and her energy focused. "Now that's more like it."

Team Showdown, Day 26, Icecrown

The Abomasnow flailed around and roared in pain as the damage suddenly began to skyrocket on its large body. It was thrashing about wildly, only held standing in place by the roots that stuck it to the ground. However it was still up and ready to fight.

Or rather ready to attack. It didn't seem to be in any state of mind to do what would usually be called fighting anymore. The Abomasnow slammed its hands into the ground and suddenly the roots that it had Ingrained shot up, grew, and formed a multitude of massive, aura filled, roots that, in a frenzied manner, began to surge towards Taiga. The move would nearly fill up much of the space of the cavern and the Sharpedo wouldn't be able to avoid the attack on her own.

Isole, looking through the hole that Scarlet had entered, lined up her gaze with the Abomasnow. She fired a Thunderbolt at the wounded Gijinka and it stumbled back from the sudden force. Turning to face the hole he let out yet another roar, weaker than the previous.

Team Mac, Day 16, Abandoned City

"It was pretty dramatic."

"I know, right?" Kaitlin said, suddenly more excited and less cocky than before. She had a grin on her face as she looked Ari over. "You've got good taste, kid." She said even though she couldn't have been more than a few years older than the boy.

"Man, it sounds like I missed something amazing... do you mind repeating it?"

She grinned at Kazo too but then shook her finger at him. "Tsk tsk tsk, introductions are only for the first time. They lose their flair if repeated right away, isn't that right?" She said to Ari. "But you guys aren't half bad you know. I guess I could hand these back over to you." She hefted the bags and held them out to the pair.

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 28, Mioter

As the group had decided to follow him, Sebastian seemed happy, and he started to lead them towards the school. In response to Easter and Denku's words he merely said. "While we're not as open as Ogren and Juyu I like to think our city is quite progressive. I believe you'll find your...situation to be well accepted here if you were to stay. I must wonder, though, do you plan on staying in my fair city?"

While they continued on he would sidle up near Brooke. "You seem downcast, these children must be important to you, but fear not we never had a child come to harm. Pretty good for a city this high off the ground I'd think." Though while he said this there was a bit of an hitch to his voice, as he seemed to be thinking of something, but he continued on with a smile nonetheless.

-----

"J, Just visitors," Fawkes hesitantly answered. "To Mioter I mean. We're here with some adults obviously, but we got split off from them and we should really be going to find them." The Zorua followed up with a subtle nudge of the elbow into Dora, accompanied by a hushed "Come on, I'm sure they're worried sick about us."

"Yes it may be good to find your parents." Torkoal said slowly, seeming to calm down.

"Oh yeah! Where's the others, Fawkes, why aren't they here?" Dora spun around in a circle, seemingly looking for the rest of their group. "They should play too! Oh but the things here are us sized..."

As the Torkoal gestured for the Skitty to follow him she hesitated. Running over to Dora she gave her a hug, and then did the same to Fawkes, there was a mischievous smile on her face and she gestured at the playground, herself, then the pair, as if to say "again sometime?" before hurrying over to the Torkoal, clinging to his leg.

At that moment Sebastian, and the rest, came up to the group, calling out. "Hello there, respected elder, we're searching for some kids...well some specific kids of course."

The Torkoal's body seemed to tighten in alarm as the man came up, holding Skitty closer, before relaxing as he saw the group with him. "I take it these are your adults." he said. "Goodbye." With that he began to walk away.

Team Karaoke, Day 20, Adarid Arena

Jabari put a hand to his head. "Why won't you just let me go." He muttered. It was...rather unusual. He didn't understand what made these people want him to speak, to explain himself. Was this...guilt? "You, Houndoom, do you really expect to make any change on your own? Going along with this ancient tradition? How could you change the world if you're learning from those who made it the way it is." He gestured at where Victini once was. "Do you truly think they aren't mostly like that? This world is one where the strong rule and fighting is the only way. Every day defenseless Gijinka are killed by those who believe themselves better. The Legends are...they represent that. Even this...Chaser thing. It promotes this... It's useless. You are already part of it. Let me pass or die."

Clotilde watched this exchange with a heavy heart. Was this the world that she was setting out to? She glanced at Vita, wounded, and in need of assistance, and lifted the girl up easily. "I do not wish to interrupt this...conversation. But I believe I must take my leave. I will bring this woman to the hospital...and myself as well. Nine, Gwen, Lok....Fiona, I think we must part ways here. Your path and mine seem to be destined to be separate. I will find this Dragon Temple Victini spoke about. Perhaps we will meet again." With that she left.

Gwen looked sad to see her go but something that Jabari said stuck with her. He sounded...frighteningly similar to her in some ways. "I...I can understand your feelings." Gwen said, and Jabari glared at her, opening his mouth to retort. She held up her hand. "I don't mean to say I know what you're going through. However...I, too, often question if this world of ours is right. But causing so much destruction, even if you believe the world would change...do you really think that the person that wants to cause change this way will create a world any better?"

Jabari hesitated, not having expected such a soft-voiced argument. "It doesn't matter if it's better." Jabari said at last. "There's no other way I can see now. He would destroy me, and everything I have left, if I stopped." Why was he telling them this? He had never felt so...weak before. "Let me go. Even if it's poisoned I must cling to my last hope. We have caused much death already. The only redemption is in a new world."

"Ha, you think that's good? Back in Trailsau something like that was common. Let me show you how it's really done!"

Randy was readying himself in for the counterattack that would eventually be done by the Tyranitar. He prepared for her strike, but was caught off guard when he noticed her face twisting into an unnaturally horrifying visage for a moment. D-Damnit...Scary Face... he thought, cursing under his breath as he fell for such an amateur move, whilst also bracing the buffeting that occurred via the sandstorm. Because of this, he was now a bit slower and was taking damage from the sand...fantastic.

It seemed he was right where the Tyranitar wanted him, as she moved and formed another Stone Edge in her hand. "sheet!" he said, preparing to brace for impact, only to see that Moltres took advantage of this.

"You dare to ignore me? Your arrogance can only go so far! Now feel the power of the sun!"

Randy watched as the area got increasingly sunny and he witnessed a Solarbeam that Moltres unleashed. It was a lot different than a normal Solar Beam that would be fired off by someone, so he assumed it was due to her being a Legendary. Now the Tyranitar had to use the Stone Edge to block the Solar Beam as she was pushed back and even took some damage from it.

"Whoa...that ain't bad..." Randy said, before noticing the sand reforming around them. He was hoping that this wouldn't be the case, but then again...this Tyranitar was stronger than the ones he faced before on Alola. The Incineroar watched intently, seeing the Tyranitar have an aura flaring around her. She obviously did something to increase something...but right now Randy had to figure out a plan of attack.

With too much time wasted, the Incineroar ran forward towards the Tyranitar. He wasn't as quick as he was before the Scary Face, however, this didn't deter the wrestler. A small plan did come to fruition and he just needed to make sure he was able to pull this off. As he was halfway between where he ran from and the Tyranitar, he took a running leap did a small hand sign before pointing downwards at the ground.

"FIRE BLAST!!!"

Soon the fiery kanji blast shot at the ground and it's impact on the ground propelled him upwards and forwards. As he soared through the air, he began to grin widely from ear to ear.

YES! It worked!! Randy thought. Now came the part he needed to have work for him. Both his fists began to glow with a light as he prepared a twin Brick Break. Randy glared at the Tyranitar, already seeing her bringing another Stone Edge in her hand and it was seeming like this was going to end up like him being batted away like a ball hitting a bat.

Oh this can't be good... he thought, not exactly able to maneuver in the air properly. Either the Brick Break was going to connect with the Stone Edge, oooooooor he'd be knocked back quite a bit.

"But you guys aren't half bad you know. I guess I could hand these back over to you." She hefted the bags and held them out to the pair.

"Yay! My bag!" Ari jumped for joy before taking them from her, remembering his manners right afterward. "Oh, uhh, thank you. That was really important to me."

"... Don't call me Darling in front of others...," Denku muttered, embarrassed. Easter delighted in the fact that he seemed to be playing along. "Fine, we can follow him. Keep your hands to yourself though." The Sylveon's eyebrows swooped up, but he kept up his expression of doleful concern. "Let's get moving."

Brooke, of course, was being the token adult and pretending that none of this had happened. The fairy type sighed. So boring. She'll never have any fun that way. He felt more and more certain that leaving her here with the children was the best decision, and probably the one she would support as well.

Sebastian seemed patently oblivious to the little "domestic" going on behind him. "While we're not as open as Ogren and Juyu I like to think our city is quite progressive. I believe you'll find your...situation to be well accepted here if you were to stay. I must wonder, though, do you plan on staying in my fair city?" It was almost as if he had read his mind.

"Maybe," Easter replied. "Depends on what the primary mother says," he teased, glancing at Brooke.

While they continued on the Gallade slipped in next to the Emboar, saying what was probably a reassurance.

Eventually the group came upon a playground filled with children. The sight caused a warm, genuine smile to flit across the fairy type's face before their guide called out to a Torkoal. "Hello there, respected elder, we're searching for some kids...well some specific kids of course."

The man seemed oddly alarmed at seeing them, or maybe it was just their guide, before relaxing. "I take it these are your adults." he said to two very familiar children. "Goodbye." With that he began to walk away.

Easter stared after the man for a second before shrugging. As far as he could see, no harm had been visited upon the kids, so all was well. "Thank goodness," he breathed, only partly exaggerating. "To see you safe and sound, how wonderful."

The battle was escalating, and Keanu didn't know what to do about it. The strange gijinka, of a species he still didn't know, had started up a sandstorm and glared at Randy. The Pikachu only caught a glimpse, and it wasn't directed toward him, but it was pretty horrifying. The whirling sand had died down after the sun shone especially hot, while Moltres had shot what was probably a Solar Beam at the strange gijinka, who was probably a rock type if the finesse with which she wielded that club was any proof. Briefly, he thought back to Lucine, but shook his head soon afterward. Now wasn't the time to take a trip down memory lane.

Randy chose that moment to shoot off a large fiery blast shaped like a person, before both his fists glowed with power. It looked to be aiming straight for that stone club, and honestly, Keanu wasn't sure which would win out.

This was all a bit beyond him. Weather manipulation, city-shaking moves, gods versus godslayers. Yeah. Still, despite himself, he felt the old lust for excitement take over him. There was just something so...thrilling about this. It would be a lot more thrilling and a lot less terrifying if lives weren't at stake, though.

Team Showdown - Icecrown

Taiga looked back at the overgrown abomination to see that it still stood upright, as if it hadn't taken any damage from her attack.  Her teeth clenched and grinded together, as she let out an annoyed groan.

"Tch!  That's it!  You know what!  I've really had it with your 'not dying today' attitude you mongoloid!  I'm going to give you the clobberin of a life time!"  Taiga then noticed that the roots that tied it to the ground had become more energetic than usual, as more started to dig their way up from the icy surface.  They looked a lot stronger than any attack she had previously seen, and were on a warpath straight towards her.  They encompassed the cavern floors and walls, making sure there would be no escape for her.  A thunderbolt made it's way towards the monster, shocking it, and making Taiga turn her shoulder.  Through a small hole, she could see Isole with her cold stare peering through.  Below her was a more familiar face, one all metaly and red.

"Hey Chrome Dome!  I don't need help, got it?!  Taiga the Terrible can do this by herself."  An inch of the roots touched her bare feet, causing a shock to run up her system, and making her move almost autonomously.  She then found herself standing in a crumpled state behind Scarlet, her knees tucked into her chest and her arms holding them together.  "W-w-whatever!  This doesn't look what it's like!  Don't get any big ideas."  She turned her head towards the ground and started twiddling her finger in the ice.  "Now just finish that guy already...he's given me a hard time y'know."

"But you guys aren't half bad you know. I guess I could hand these back over to you." She hefted the bags and held them out to the pair. Kazo sighed in disappointment, but took his bag.

"Yay! My bag!" Ari jumped for joy before taking them from her, remembering his manners right afterward. "Oh, uhh, thank you. That was really important to me."

"Thank you very much," Kazo said with a smile. Looking at her, he noticed she had a third bag. Was that's Mac's...? Well, it would seem they needed to get that away from her. Also... some info on her would be good. "So, are you travelling alone? That seems kinda... dangerous, you know?" He rubbed the back of this head. "Even for someone as mysterious as you,"

"While we're not as open as Ogren and Juyu I like to think our city is quite progressive. I believe you'll find your...situation to be well accepted here if you were to stay. I must wonder, though, do you plan on staying in my fair city?"

"Maybe," Easter replied. "Depends on what the primary mother says," he teased, glancing at Brooke.

"I may leave for a while... since I'm looking for my brother... but I might return," Denku added as they walked.

While they continued on he would sidle up near Brooke. "You seem downcast, these children must be important to you, but fear not we never had a child come to harm. Pretty good for a city this high off the ground I'd think."

"They're the closest to her," Denku stated. "I do hope they open up to me soon though,"

Eventually the group came upon a playground filled with children. It was a nice place, Denku had to admit. Very . "Hello there, respected elder, we're searching for some kids...well some specific kids of course."

The man seemed oddly alarmed at seeing them. Why did no one want Denku anywhere he went? "I take it these are your adults." he said to two very familiar children. "Goodbye." With that he began to walk away. That was... so odd. Did they not like them?

"Thank goodness," Easter breathed. "To see you safe and sound, how wonderful."

"Please, don't wander off," Denku asked. "You nearly gave the lot of us a heart attack,"

Lok let out a gasp of relief as the Godlsayer let go of his hand. Surprisingly, his hand wasn't broken, although it was still surging with pain. As Nine and the Godslayer talked, he sneaked away from the Zebstrika. It seemed like his attention was successfuly diverted from Fiona. Lok let out a sigh of relief, chuckling nervously. He gripped his hand, which was still in pain. Suddenly, Clotilde spoke up.

Perhaps we will meet again." Lok frowned, making his way over Clotilde.

He threw his arms around his friend, his eyes a bit teary. "Be safe, ok?" He let go, waving as she walked away. He turned his head towards the Godslayer, who was now talking to Gwen. They were talking about something that was a bit too much for Lok to take in, especially at that moment. Instead, he took a seat in the air above the ground.

Icecrown Team Showdown

"Hey Chrome Dome! I don't need help, got it?! Taiga the Terrible can do this by herself." Scarlet wasn't sure what type of nickname that was, but she didn't have time to answer as the roots summoned by the beast started tossing Taiga around. Taiga found herself standing in a crumpled state behind Scarlet, her knees tucked into her chest and her arms holding them together. "W-w-whatever! This doesn't look what it's like! Don't get any big ideas." She turned her head towards the ground and started twiddling her finger in the ice. "Now just finish that guy already...he's given me a hard time y'know." Scarlet nodded, doing he best not to laugh, before turning to the ice monster.

Crouching down a bit, Scalet launched herself from the floor and towards the beast. She landed on some roots, before quickly leaping off of it. She was almost like a red blur as she moved towards the beast. Eventually, she got close enough to attack the Abomasnow. It seemed weakened by the fight, waiting to be finished off. She launched herself off of the root and up into the air, before dropping down on the beast. As she fell towards her foe's head, she slammed her pincers down hard on top of the beast's head. "Stay down!"

"Yes it may be good to find your parents."

This guy got it. The adults in question weren't really Fawkes's parents, but this Torkoal had the right idea regardless. Finding them was a good idea, not that she and Dora should have split off from them in the first place.

"Oh yeah! Where's the others, Fawkes, why aren't they here? They should play too! Oh but the things here are us sized..."

Because you ran off out of the blue. "Who knows?" she shrugged in response to the question Dora had put out. The Skitty took a moment to give Dora a hug, then followed up by doing the same to Fawkes. It was uncomfortable. She didn't like this very much; it was far too confining. Luckily, it didn't last long, before the Skitty made some gestures that seemed to imply she wanted to meet here again sometime. Fawkes wasn't overly keen on the idea herself. She would much rather stick with her group, though if everything went the way Fawkes wanted it do, she imagined she wouldn't be here in the first place. The Skitty hurried back over to her Torkoal companion, before a new voice registered in her ears.

"Hello there, respected elder, we're searching for some kids...well some specific kids of course."

"I take it these are your adults. Goodbye."

Well that man's voice wasn't one she recognized at all. Fawkes turned, and... there they were! Easter, Denku, and Brooke, the group was reunited.

"Thank goodness. To see you safe and sound, how wonderful."

"Please. don't wander off. You nearly gave the lot of us a heart attack."

"I told you," Fawkes whispered to the nearest armless ditz. Now then, back to the adults. Fawkes had nothing to do with this whole running off thing short of being dragged along by Dora. But at the same time, was it really okay to just throw all the blame onto her? "We're sorry," she said.

Marie continued to watch on as the fight continued between Randy, Moltres and Ms. Cranky Pants Godslayer. It was a bit strange to watch the weather change so rapidly between the harsh sun and the whipping sand, causing Marie to shield herself from the different harsh weather conditions. While the fight between the two parties seemed to continue going on, Marie didn't move from where she was, unsure of whether or not she should try and break up the fight or not, and feeling a strange pressure around the area that told her that it was a bad idea. Yet, as the sand started to whip around again, the girl didn't want to have to deal with that hurting all the people in the area, as whirling sand stung. As such, the girl let out a soft, melancholic tune, and as she did, clouds started to form as rain started to fall from the sky, to keep the sand down.

Jabari still seemed to refute what Nine was saying, seeming ready to force his way through Nine, in an almost ironic sort of way. However, before things escalated any further, Gwendoline stepped up to try and calm him down as well. The houndoom understood and agreed with what the woman was saying and, to his surprise, it seemed that the godslayer did as well. However, Nine was taken aback by what had happened next. What had once been the figure of a proud and zealous warrior now seemed to be someone both terrified and desperate. The sudden shift in his demeanor caught Nine off guard, and he was almost at a loss for words, seeing the man seem more like he was running from the now then fighting for the future. Yet all the same, the houndoom didn't believe in the salvation in this new world, both by the methods to reach it and the validity that it would actually be for the better. As such, Nine merely said, "then I'll continue to work towards the future that I believe in. It might seem foolish to you, but, I'll do my best to save us all from this battle we've found ourselves in. And you've seen how hard I fight when trying to save someone. Jabari," the houndoom stuck out his hand, going for a handshake as Lok did before saying, "I don't know how much of this has stuck with you but, I hope when we next meet, it won't be as enemies."

Team Alola, Day 7, Northshore

Randy would see a savage grin spread across the Tyranitar's face as her attack made contact with Randy's body. He would feel intense pain as the weapon slammed into his ribs and sent him flying off to the side, bouncing off the ground a couple times before landing face-down on the floor. The attack had opened up a gash on his side and blood would start to freely flow from his wound.

The Tyranitar laughed and stepped forward until the first drops of water started. She looked up in annoyance as the rain fell upon them all. "I. Hate. Getting. Wet." She said, looking at the cause of the rain. She growled and slammed her foot into the ground, triggering an Earthquake attack that would reach both Marie and Keanu.

It also reached Moltres but, as she took into the skies, it didn't affect her much. However she, too, seemed annoyed at the rain. Her attacks were all ineffective against this Godslayer except one and with the rain in the way..."Oh forgot it." She snapped to no one in particular as she dove towards the Tyranitar and simply punched her across the face.

Team Mac, Day 16, Abandoned City

"Oh, uhh, thank you. That was really important to me."

"No problem kiddo." She said, winking at Ari before turning her attention to Kazo.

"So, are you travelling alone? That seems kinda... dangerous, you know?" He rubbed the back of this head. "Even for someone as mysterious as you,"

"Not at all! I never get caught unless I don't want it." She tossed the other bag in the air a few times. "Don't you think about taking this one. I promised to give YOUR bags back, but this one isn't yours, and don't try and tell me it is." She started to back away. "I wouldn't suggest chasing me, either, boys, when I want to get away I can be quite..." She gave a confident and, slightly dangerous, smirk "adamant." She tipped her hat, which appeared from seemingly nowhere, and began to fade into the ground as a shadow. "We'll see each other again I'm sure, especially if you're heading North-East!"

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 28, Mioter

"To see you safe and sound, how wonderful."

"Please. don't wander off," Denku added. "You nearly gave the lot of us a heart attack,"

"We're sorry,"

Dora looked around "I don't get it, we just went off to play, you guys are worrywarts, worrrrryyyywaaarts, worrywarts worrywarts." He talking had midway turned into more of singing and she seemed to not really be paying any attention to what was going on around her anymore.

Sebastian was watching the Torkoal go with a look of curiosity. "Odd, don't think I've actually seen that man before, and I thought I knew everyone! Ah, no matter, now that you all have found each other I must ask. Do you have a place to stay? It's not much but I would offer up my home if you need it. There's room for everyone there and it's certainly better than sleeping on the streets, and you'd save quite a lot of Poke."

Team Showdown, Day 26, Icecrown

The Abomasnow roared at Scarlet, spittle flying into her face, as he raised a hand, prepared to slam down with a Wood Hammer...but it didn't go that far. Scarlet's final attack, super-effective as it was, was enough to finish the foe off. He toppled over and landed with a loud crash. The Hail that had been swirling began to slowly fade away.

However they could still hear it. Or, upon checking, there was another starting up outside. This one more natural. Isole had levitated down into the cavern by now and she was covered in snow. "Snowstorm." She said to the group. "Could be bad."

Taiga would realize that her leg was quite injured at this point and it'd be hard, though not impossible, for her to put weight on it. If she did, however, it would be quite painful. Nonetheless they had been victorious. The fox had vanished and their supplies were safe. And now they were in the cavern with an unconscious Abomasnow, with one exit leading into a snowstorm and the other farther into the cavern.

Team Karaoke, Day 20, Adarid Arena

"You will die." Jabari said, matter-of-factly, in response to Nine, giving the man an awkward, and brief, handshake. "But that is your choice. If we meet again...I will once more be on the hunt." He paused, hesitated, then said. "Please don't get in my way."

As he passed them by, he looked to Fiona. "Kiwidinok is dead I suppose. I know not your plan but I have no reason to tell him of your presence."

Fiona nodded and, when Jabari left the area, fell to her knees shuddering and drawing deep, shaky, breathes.

Gwen let out a breath she hadn't realized she had been holding. "That was...tense. To say the least." She looked towards Fiona, not knowing how to talk to the young woman. "We should...leave, yes?" She looked around at the group. "Or do you think we should rest here, and leave in the morning? I don't particularly like this place but it seems...safe?"

"S-SHI-!!!" Randy shouted, seeing the savage grin that instantly appeared on the Tyranitar's face. The next thing he saw was her stone club swinging and making contact with his side. He felt the wind getting knocked out of him, as he coughed out. He soon felt himself flying backwards away from the Tyranitar and started bouncing along the ground some. Finally, Randy found himself landing face-down on the ground.

The pain was intense...the worst he had ever felt, even in a wrestling match. With a low growl, he moved his hand to where he was hit, instantly jerking his body away from his hand's touch. Upon further inspection, he saw why. It wasn't just it hurt like a freaking heavy rolling Donphan that was going down a very steep mountain...it did A LOT of damage.

There was now a gash on his side and he could see that his blood was flowing freely from the wound.

D-Damnit...A-Arceus damnit!! Randy thought, gritting his teeth with a growl, holding his wound and beginning to try and stand up, only staggering and failing at it. What was worse, the Tyranitar, at this point, was sending an Earthquake towards Keanu and Marie after the Popplio made it begin to rain. S-sheet! sheet!! he thought, trying again to get up and failing once more.

"K-KEANU!! MARIE! GET OUTTA THERE!!" Randy roared through his gritting teeth.

Team Showdown - Icecrown

Taiga watched, as the literal red-headed demon herself slammed a claw on top of the giant Gijinka's head.  With a whimper, the monster finally toppled over in a heap of pine and lumber.  She sighed, as the thing that had taken up so much of her damn time and energy was finally taken out with such ease.  Now it was time to give this big lug the promise she made him in the beginning.  She began to rise, but realized that the pain in her leg was almost unbearable.  The shock made her fall back down straight on her butt.

"Ow ow ow..."  Taiga began to rub it where she felt it was injured, but that only brought her more discomfort.  "DAMN IT!"  She said, launching her fangs towards her bum leg, but stopping midway and clonking herself on the head.  "Calm down Taiga...it's probably just a bruised bone or somethin'...no need to chew it off yet."  She took a deep breath in, and exhaled slowly...before bursting out again.  "WHERE HAVE YOU PUNKS BEEN!  I'VE BEEN FIGHTING THIS GIANT OVERGROWN WEED MAN FOR LIKE MY ENTIRE LIFE NOW!  AND NOW YOU WANNA COME AND HELP ME WITH ONE ATTACK!  GEE WHIZ I COULDA BEEN DEAD BY NOW, Y'KNOW?!"  Taiga's tantrum caused her to pummel the ground below like a small baby gijinka, fresh from the egg.

"Snowstorm.  Could be bad."

Taiga looked back to see Isole.  The hole behind her had been covered in snow, and so was she.  There wasn't any way out, so now they had to trek further in.  Taiga growled.

"We can go farther in.  That little rat that stole our food went deeper in too.  We go there, we find the food, we stay the night.  That sounds like the only plan we've got."  She then pointed towards the Abomasnow.  "Or we could use those giant pincers of yours, Chrome Dome, to cut us up a gijinka tent for the night...probably be a lot warmer in there."  Taiga sighed.  "Although...I bet you're not privy to sleeping in some gijinka guts."  She bared her teeth at the unconscious giant.  "You live...this time.  If you ever cross paths with Taiga the Terrible again, she will show no mercy!  FUFUFUFUFU!"  She then calmed down after laughing, twiddling her thumbs yet again.  "N-n-now someone c-c-carry me there.."

"Wait, wait, wait!" Kazo yelled out. "I don't know your name! If you won't repeat your introduction, at least tell me that, please!" He had to have some sort of lead on her, after all.

"We're sorry,"

Dora looked around "I don't get it, we just went off to play, you guys are worrywarts, worrrrryyyywaaarts, worrywarts worrywarts." Denku sighed and rubbed Fawkes's head gently.

"Dora dragged you along, didn't she?" He looked over to the spinning girl and shook his head. "I doubt anything we say is ever going to get to her,"

"Odd, don't think I've actually seen that man before, and I thought I knew everyone! Ah, no matter, now that you all have found each other I must ask. Do you have a place to stay? Denku looked over. The Gallade seemed kind... but super pushy... what was with him. Something just felt... off. At the same time... this Torkoal seemed... suspicious... it was so odd. Maybe another late night investigation was in order.

He hoped it didn't end as badly as the last one.

"Whatever you guys decide, let me know," He said. "Since we spent most of our time on this escapade, I'll be using the rest of it to look around, and hopefully find my brother," He said.

Ari watched as Kazo talked with the strange girl. He frowned when he noticed the third bag, which he hadn't really been paying attention to until she mentioned it. So she stole someone else's bag too...

Then she began to fade into the ground, but said they'd probably see each other again. As Kazo shouted something about her name, Ari waved halfheartedly. He wasn't all that sure he wanted to see her again, not if it meant his stuff getting stolen again.

Brooke did not react to Easter's jibe, which disappointed him, but then again, she was a stick-in-the-mud after all.

"I may leave for a while... since I'm looking for my brother... but I might return."

The Sylveon glanced at Denku at that. He'd almost forgotten about the mysterious brother. He could sympathize with the idea of wanting to look after a little sibling. In fact, he'd left one behind himself, though she had been quite young, literally a baby. Likely if they saw each other again, she wouldn't even recognize him, nor he her.

"They're the closest to her," Denku replied later to the Gallade's reassurance. "I do hope they open up to me soon though."

"I'm sure they will," Easter reassured. Or at least, Dora would. Fawkes might take a little longer, but Denku had also proved himself trustworthy when they went against Kyurem.

Upon seeing the children, Fawkes at least had the decorum to appear properly ashamed. Dora, however, was unrepentant, to nobody's surprise. "I don't get it, we just went off to play, you guys are worrywarts, worrrrryyyywaaarts, worrywarts worrywarts." Her talking had midway turned into more of singing and she seemed to not really be paying any attention to what was going on around her anymore.

Sebastian was watching the Torkoal go with a look of curiosity. "Odd, don't think I've actually seen that man before, and I thought I knew everyone! "Whatever you guys decide, let me know," Denku said. "Since we spent most of our time on this escapade, I'll be using the rest of it to look around, and hopefully find my brother," He said.

Easter watched the Gallade closely. He didn't seem untrustworthy, in fact he seemed rather friendly. And they did in fact, need somewhere to stay. "I at least would be happy to take you up on your offer, kind sir," he said, dabbing a hand at his eye. "It's not every day you find such a good Samurottan such as yourself," he said, before glancing at Denku. "Well, except for Denku here. He's such a gentleman." The psychic type would probably be able to help Brooke and her children settle in, anyway.

Keanu groaned as Marie caused the rain to go down. She just had to do that, didn't she? Go and participate in the battle as well. And then that there rock gijinka decided that was a challenge, and then she sent an Earthquake at them. Just splendid. This day was turning out to be just...splendid.

"K-KEANU!! MARIE! GET OUTTA THERE!!"

The tiger didn't have to tell him twice. The Pikachu knew. One hit from that thing and he'd be toast. Maybe even dead. Which wasn't really on his plans for the next few years. No, his plans involved living, finding a place to live, and uhh, living.

Scooping up the little troublemaker with strength fueled by adrenaline, Keanu positively flew out of there, with speed he hadn't used since that attack on Alola. Still, he wasn't going to risk the rock type redirecting her attack, and left behind a strange but adorable doll, which would hopefully take the attack for them.

"Let's never do that again, k'den?" he muttered once they were out of the way. "Even if that was pretty exciting," he looked a little different from his normal droopy-eared, lazy-eyed demeanor, face flushed and eyes shining like blue gems.

Lok watched as the Godslayer and Nine shook hands, Nine seemingly taking it much better than Lok had. As he started walking away, however, he stopped to address Fiona. Lok tensed up as he saw him address her, expecting some sort of fight. "Kiwidinok is dead I suppose. I know not your plan but I have no reason to tell him of your presence." Instead, he spoke to her about... something. Lok wasn't completely sure what was going on. Fiona nodded and, when Jabari left the area, fell to her knees shuddering and drawing deep, shaky, breathes. Lok let out a sigh of relief as the Godslayer left.

"That was...tense. To say the least." Lok turned to Gwen, nodding. It was tense, but now they were safe. At least for now. "We should...leave, yes?" She looked around at the group. "Or do you think we should rest here, and leave in the morning? I don't particularly like this place but it seems...safe?" Lok turned to the others. He was ready to leave as soon as possible, but the others looked tired from their fight and, considering that he hadn't helped with whatever happened at all, it wasn't his place to make that decision. Instead, he made his way to Fiona, who was still collapsed on the ground.

He wasn't sure what to say to her. He had a lot of mixed opinions, and a lot of questions to ask her. However, this was definitely not the time nor the place for it. She had been through enough. He sat down next to the girl, hovering slightly above the ground. He placed his hand on her shoulder. "It's ok know. You're safe now. He's gone." He wasn't sure how safe the girl was in actuality, but for the time being they were ok.

The hail around them dissipated as the Abomasnow fell to her strike. She landed triumphantly over the defeated foe, before turning to the outside of the cave. While the hail inside the cave had stopped, the weather outside didn't sound all too pleasant. "WHERE HAVE YOU PUNKS BEEN! I'VE BEEN FIGHTING THIS GIANT OVERGROWN WEED MAN FOR LIKE MY ENTIRE LIFE NOW! AND NOW YOU WANNA COME AND HELP ME WITH ONE ATTACK! GEE WHIZ I COULDA BEEN DEAD BY NOW, Y'KNOW?!" Scarlet's train of thought was interrupted by Taiga, who fell over from her position on the ground. Her leg was notably injured from the fight; she probably couldn't walk on her own, if at all. Isole came out the cave and confirmed Scarlet's suspicions. It would probably be unwise to continue out there, especially with Taiga's injured leg.

"We can go farther in. That little rat that stole our food went deeper in too. We go there, we find the food, we stay the night. That sounds like the only plan we've got." She then pointed towards the Abomasnow. "Or we could use those giant pincers of yours, Chrome Dome, to cut us up a gijinka tent for the night...probably be a lot warmer in there." Scarlet turned to the Abomasnow, before looking down at her pincers. She considered the idea for a bit, before shaking her head. Even she had her limits.

Scarlet nodded her head, making her way to her fallen comrade. It was a bit difficult to actually pick her up, due to the lack of hands, but eventually she managed to lift Taiga off of the ground and onto her hands, feeling a short surge of pain in her shoulder as she did so. Gritting her teeth, she turned to Tianzi and Isole. "We should get going now. The sooner the better." She turned to face deeper in the cave. "As soon as we find a place to rest we should tend to Taiga's leg." She noticed the supplies on the floor. The animal that took them must of gotten scared and dropped them or something. She let out a sigh of relief, turning to Taiga. "Good job." She smiled at her, winking, before making her way deeper into the cave.

"I don't get it, we just went off to play, you guys are worrywarts, worrrrryyyywaaarts, worrywarts worrywarts."

Fawkes paid little mind to the curious words coming from Dora. What the Gallade had said, on the other hand, proved to be worth noting.

While she was curious about the Torkoal that he'd never seen before, the Zorua's attention was drawn much more easily to his offer. Fawkes was all about saving and getting money. It was just her way of life for too long to really change her ways, albeit she hadn't needed to steal anything since that fight in Coldharbour. If they were being offered a place to stay for the night absolutely free, just like that, was there really any reason to decline? If Fawkes had been given this offer a couple weeks ago, she'd likely be suspicious. However, if something did go south - she was trying to stay optimistic about this, but couldn't not rule out the possibility - Brooke, and Easter, and Denku were all there to set things straight. And perhaps Fawkes could do something too. Maybe?

...maybe not.

"Whatever you guys decide, let me know. Since we spent most of our time on this escapade, I'll be using the rest of it to look around, and hopefully find my brother."

"I at least would be happy to take you up on your offer, kind sir. It's not every day you find such a good Samurottan such as yourself. Well, except for Denku here. He's such a gentleman."

"I agree with Easter," Fawkes nodded. "It's always good to save money when you can, right? And it does beat the streets, so there doesn't seem to be any reason to turn it down." Although she did wonder what this man's place was like. And who he was for that matter. Best to get that all figured out as soon as possible right?

Once she'd accepted the offer, Fawkes asked in return, "Who are you, by the way? And what's your place like?"

Brooke was distrustful by nature, growing up in Deku made sure of that. When people offered to help you, they usually had something they wanted in return. She stepped in front of the others protectively, like she could shield them from view with her body, even though Fawkes and Easter had already agreed to his offer. Something about it didn’t sit right with her.

She smiled at the Gallade, donning the mask of a merchant as easily as putting on an old coat. She was one hell of a salesman when she wanted to be. “We appreciate the offer, really, but you have to understand our situation. I barely know you, and where I’m from, people who offer to let other people spend the night at no cost never mean well.”

She left it at that. If the rest went along with the Gallade anyways, she would follow, but she wasn’t all that comfortable spending the night with a stranger. Meeting Sada again had stirred up old instincts she thought she had long since buried, the street smarts that had allowed her to survive before she rose above that life, and she couldn’t ignore them now.

Nine accepted the awkward hand shake, standing his ground as Jabari made his statements. As the godslayer left the arena, Nine let out a sigh of relief, as an enormous weight seemed to be lifted from him. "Whoa," he looked to the others, "that was close. There were like three times I thought he was going to snap. Phew." Shaking his head as if to collect himself, after appearing almost completely different from how he was with talking to Jabari. Nine was truly relieved that they didn't come to blows yet again, and despite not being able to stop Jabari from continuing his activities as a Godslayer, was content with how things had turned out. Of course, this sort of feeling of relief from having stopped Jabari, saving Vita and meeting yet another legend was soon replaced with a feeling of dread. Nine found it strange that there was already more than one Godslayer that it existed but from what Jabari had told him, it seemed to go much deeper than just an over violent group of Chasers. To think that there was someone out there who, at the very least claimed to be able to change the world through their power alone, someone who could make that Zebstrika cower in such a way. It was something that Nine wasn't entirely eager to face.

Yet still, that was an issue more on the horizon then one he had to immediately face. And it was more information than he had about the godslayers than before coming here. With it all finished now, though, Nine merely turned towards Gwendoline saying, "yeah, sounds good. I think we've had enough arena for a day. But hey, at least we learned a lot from Jabari." He looked over to Fiona saying, "haven't we young lady?" While there seemed to be some intensity in his gaze, it became more neutral as he said, "well, that's probably for another time." While Nine was greatly curious as to what Fiona actually knew, he was already mentally exhausted with his bout with the godslayer, and figured that going any further with it would just cause more stress to everyone. "Well, everyone ready to go?"

Marie's eyes went wide out of both shock and horror as she saw Randy get swatted away from the godslayer. While she was about to say something, and run towards him to help, a tremor could be felt as a shockwave from the gijinka made its way over to her and Keanu. The girl was unable to move away from this wave of force, standing there, only to then be scooped up by the pikachu next to her to safety. While he seemed to want out of this fight, Marie looked towards him, a pleading expression evident in her eyes as she said, "b-but we can't just leave him and her there with that bully."

"WHERE HAVE YOU PUNKS BEEN!  I'VE BEEN FIGHTING THIS GIANT OVERGROWN WEED MAN FOR LIKE MY ENTIRE LIFE NOW!  AND NOW YOU WANNA COME AND HELP ME WITH ONE ATTACK!  GEE WHIZ I COULDA BEEN DEAD BY NOW, Y'KNOW?!"

"With that much fighting, perhaps you should marry him instead, but actually we're just stalled by an unfortunate incident. Well, they ought to be dead with this sandstorm happening, so not our concern anymore."

The snowstorm outside was bad, Scarlet now were carrying off the heavily injured Taiga so they could heal her once they find a good resting place. Of course, having an unconscious enemy on their back in this kind of situation and all that would be bad. Scarlet was unwilling to do the job.

"You guys go ahead. I'll carry the supplies and catch up in a bit."

Well...now with that said, Tianzi placed his hand on the Abomasnow and focused his mind to take its energy into himself. Once that was done, Tianzi brought out her travel knife from his back pocket, and without hesitating a single bit, brought it down on the Abomasnow's neck, making his way to sever it and ensure his death while making sure that the blood didn't dirty her too much.

"Alright, let's get going then."

Picking up the bag of supply, Tianzi followed the rest, not sparing any single glance anymore on the result of his work.

Team Alola, Day 7, Northshore

"That's right run away!" Tyranitar shouted at the pair of Marie and Keanu. She had a smile on her face and was clearly enjoying herself. Until..."DAMMIT AGAIN WITH THE WEATHER CHANGES?"

She turned towards Moltres who had just causes the rain to dry up and the sun to beat down upon them. The Tyranitar charged forward towards Moltres, forming a Stone Edge in her hand again, and leapt at the Legend, prepared to slam the attack down on Moltres.

"Vile creature. Champion of strife. You are not welcome in my world." Moltres said as the Tyranitar fell towards her. The Legends body was releasing heat at an alarming rate and the flaming wings on her back were expanding with every moment. "Now burn to ash!"

An extreme amount of flames launched from Moltres, a wall of flames that struck the Tyranitar directly, streaming out for several seconds.

However it wasn't enough to stop the Tyranitar's movement and the Stone Edge struck Moltres in the shoulder. However something was different about Moltres, the flames had been extinguished, and it seemed that the Rock attack didn't cause as much harm as it would normally.

It still injured Moltres greatly and she fell to a knee, glaring at Tyranitar.

"Nice trick..." The Tyranitar said, breathing heavily. "But your time is up." She brought the Stone Edge up once more.

Team Showdown, Day 26, Icecrown

Isole couldn't help but snicker a bit at Taiga's surprisingly meek and timid response. Then she realized she was snickering and her face took on a most confused expression. She wasn't used to this weirdly light feeling. And it made her uncomfortable.

As they continued on, Isole noticed the newcomer returning from...whatever it was. "You didn't eat them did you?" She asked. She wasn't comfortable with this person. She wasn't even really comfortable with the other two but at least she had some experience with them.

As they continued down the path they'd find it surprisingly...peaceful. The floor was slippery, yes, and the air had a chill, but nothing was attacking them yet and there was some beauty in the way the ice glimmered.

They'd notice that the path they were on was heading upward, and the floor would begin to slope more, and more, and more, getting more difficult to travel, until, several hours of travel later, they found themselves faced with a sheer ramp of ice with what seemed to be an exit at the top.

Team Mac, Day 16, Abandoned City

"I don't know your name! If you won't repeat your introduction, at least tell me that, please!"

"The cute little lion boy knows it, just ask him, I shouldn't utter my grandiose name in such a common way!" It was clear the girl was just teasing but she still didn't answer before disappearing, giving them a two-fingered wave on her way down.

The area got silent, as the fog began to grow, and off in the distance there was a very slight sound of something that sounded like a foot stepping on a branch.

Both of them would feel it might be a good idea to get indoors.

---

After the two conversed however much they desired and went back to sleep, the night would be uneventful from then on.

In the morning, however, when Mac awoke, the first words out of the spunky Electric-Type were. "Where did my bag go?"

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 28, Mioter

"Whatever you guys decide, let me know," He said. "Since we spent most of our time on this escapade, I'll be using the rest of it to look around, and hopefully find my brother,"

"I at least would be happy to take you up on your offer, kind sir,"

"I agree with Easter," Fawkes nodded. "It's always good to save money when you can, right? And it does beat the streets, so there doesn't seem to be any reason to turn it down."

"Ah, well it's good of you all to be so..."

“We appreciate the offer, really, but you have to understand our situation. I barely know you, and where I’m from, people who offer to let other people spend the night at no cost never mean well.”

Sebastian's smile faltered ever so slightly. "I know you did not mean to offend but I must admit that stung a bit." He said with a wink, showing he wasn't being entirely serious. "But I suppose it IS understandable. Especially if you're not from around here. I do wonder where it is you're from, though...Ah but feel free to ignore that question. At the very least let me show you my house, and, give directions to those of you who wish to check later. Come along now, it's not too far from here. Another good thing about my city, everything is just a walk away."

---

The house he would bring them to was huge and looked reminiscent to some shrines that they may have seen. On the front of it was a small wall with a sign that said "Wishing Wall." which had several wooden tablets with various wishes from people in the city on it. "If you want, you, too, can leave a wish." Sebastian said with a smile. "I am very much fascinated by the Legendary Jirachi and I modeled my home after their shrine in this city."

After a few moments someone came out of the door. "Ah, good timing, this is a young woman who I have also arraigned to live here for a time. I found her wandering around. Said 'My future is meant to be here.' whatever that means. Fi, come meet some potential guests if you would."

The girl, an Espeon, looked at the group, and tilted her head quizzically. She seemed to have just woken up and still had a sleepy look in her eyes.

Team Karaoke, Day 20, Adarid Arena

"It's ok know. You're safe now. He's gone."

Fiona looked at Lok, wide-eyed, seemingly not realizing at first he was even there. When she saw him she tensed up, then, clearing her throat, got to her feet. "It's...it's fine. I just...can we maybe not do something like that again?"

Gwen nodded along with Nine, though she frowned at him when he seemed to be speaking accusatorily towards Fiona.

The Drapion noticed this too and bowed her head, not looking at anyone. Inside her mind she was cursing the man out, though. Thoughts of how he should mind his own business, and how he was probably cocky after becoming buddy buddy with Jabari, crossed her mind. If Nine looked closely at the girl he might detect the slightest of malicious intents before Gwen spoke up.

"Yes let us go then." She said a bit loudly, seeming to sense the negative atmosphere. "We should be quick about it if we wish to leave the city before it gets dark."

They were unable to do this, however, as the group only managed to make it to a certain, familiar, library before the sun fell beneath the mountains that surrounded the city.

The library was in disarray. It had very clearly taken a lot of fire damage and parts of it had caved in entirely. There was still an ominous feeling when looking at it. However it mostly felt...sad. Gwen wanted nothing more than to continue on despite the danger of traveling at night but Fiona had other plans.

She was silent, almost puppet-like, when moving towards the library. She didn't respond to anyone's calls and, after moving forward a bit, broke out into a run inside of the main building.

If the group were to follow her inside they'd find her in the middle of the room, trying to pull a fallen bookshelf away from a charred rug.

Randy watched as Keanu got Marie to safety, which put him at ease some. However, he was still pretty banged up. Finally being able to sit up, he moved his hand to fish in his bag, pulling out the last Full Restore he had. It really upset him that he had to resort to using this right this very second...but given the situation.

He immediately started spraying the Full Restore on his wound and growled through gritted teeth. Grrrr...that stings like a mother! he thought, tossing the empty bottle aside as he could feel the healing process work immediately on the wound, as well as giving him his strength back. Randy now felt revitalized, as he stood up and watched what occurred between Moltres and the Tyranitar Godslayer.

"Vile creature. Champion of strife. You are not welcome in my world. Now burn to ash!"

Sunny Day plus Burn Up. This combination was quite an effective one. However, even with that powerful strike, Moltres was still hit by the Stone Edge, surviving it nonetheless. But...

"Nice trick...But your time is up."

Randy's fists began to clench tightly as he slammed his left foot down, trying to get the attention of the Tyranitar. "HEY!! You're fighting ME!!" he shouted, already making his way towards the Tyranitar.

The Tyranitar only looked at Randy, in a scoffing manner. "You seem to not realize you're just a background character. I'm after HER, not you."

"And you don't seem to realize..." Randy spoke, his feral eyes glaring at the Tyranitar. If the Tyranitar was paying close attention, though, she would immediately notice that the Incineroar's fists were now emanating a dark energy. "I said...YOU WOULDN'T KILL HER!!"

-BGM-

"These fists of mine overflow with a powerful darkness!" Randy shouted, lifting his two fists up, smirking widely. "Their deathly glow tell me to grasp victory! HERE I GO!! DARKEST...LARIAT!!!"

Before the Tyranitar and even Moltres knew it, Randy began to spin like a tornado towards them. And once there, his attack struck the Godslayer right in the chest, knocking her back some. Now there was a small space for him to step in between the two. Once he ceased spinning, Randy only stared at the Godslayer, with a huge grin on his face.

"Don't think that's all...cause I'm just getting started!" he said, as the Incinium Z around his neck began to glow brightly. The bright glow soon spread across his whole body, it giving him the strength he needed. With a stomp of his foot, the ground around them soon rose in the formation of a square. "Heh...may not be the ring...but it'll do just fine!" Randy said, before taking a leap into the air and performing a somersault, then finally beginning to fall at an alarming rate towards the Tyranitar.

"SIGNATURE MOVE!!! MALICIOUS....MOONSAAAAAAAAAULT!!!" he roared at the top of his lungs, falling down towards the square ground formation and the Tyranitar. Before anyone knew it, an explosion erupted from the square ground and Randy only landed from the "ring" and moved back towards Moltres. "H-Heh...that oughta do something!"

I just...can we maybe not do something like that again?" Lok nodded his head in agreement, standing up alongside her. He flinched slightly at Nine's comment, which caused Fiona to bow her head.

"Yes let us go then." She said a bit loudly, seeming to sense the negative atmosphere. "We should be quick about it if we wish to leave the city before it gets dark." Lok nodded, heading out with the group. They were unable to do this, however, as the group only managed to make it to a certain, familiar, library before the sun fell beneath the mountains that surrounded the city.

The library was about as horribly destroyed as it had been the last time they were here. There was a somber atmosphere in the building, although there seemed to be no one else here. Still, it was definitely unsettling. Lok was traveling next to Fiona when they got there, and was the first to notice that she was cold, almost puppet-like, as they moved through the library. "H-Hey, are you... ok...?" He wasn't quite sure why she was like this, although it was probably related to the Xatu that used to run the place. Fiona did not respond. Instead, shortly after, she broke into a run. "F-Fiona!" Lok called out to no avail. He followed after her, dashing through the library.

Eventually, he stopped to find Fiona in the middle of the library, trying to push one of the bookshelves that had fallen. Underneath it was a rugged that had seen better days. "Fiona...?" He called out, not getting a response again. She seemed entirely focused on moving the bookshelf out of the way. He let out a sigh, rubbing his hands together, before making his way next to Fiona. He grabbed the bookshelf, helping the girl push the bookshelf.

Icecrown Team Showdown

The stroll in the scary ice cave was surprisingly peaceful, although Scarlet was still hoping to find some place to rest. While Taiga's wouldn't have been an issue normally, her shoulder was starting to annoy her as they continued. She would respond to the others briefly, trying to keep focus on not dropping Taiga. The floor was also slippery, making it slightly more inconvenient to trek while holding the girl. To make matters worse, the cave seemed to slope more and more, making it that much more difficult to keep on going.

Eventually, after what felt like hours, they met what might as well of been a dead end. A giant ice ramp stopped their journey; the exit in sight at the top of it. Scarlet turn down to look at Taiga, before returning her glance back up the ramp. There was no way she'd be able to carry Taiga up there, as climbing the slippery ramp by herself was already a challenge in of itself. She turned back to the others, her breathing becoming a bit heavier than normal. "Now what?" It was clear that she was getting tired from the long trek as she looked around for a good place to put Taiga down. Unfortunately, most of it seemed to steep to put her down without risking her sliding back the way they came. She let out a sigh. "Just great..." He shook her head.
