Agro
I started taking animation classes recently, and I figured after a few weeks, I might as well share at least one thing I've worked on I'm not all that good at it, and this is the first thing I've made using the techniques they've taught us (albeit I feel like I'm using them poorly) Wanted to share anyway, since I kinda like it. Toffee.
Might be just me, but the trees kinda' look like broccoli. That aside, this looks like it was from a cartoon in the 90s, and I adore it for that.
Thar
Kinda looks like the temple from Sonic Adventures. Are those textured brushes? Cause it looks like you're just picking a surface and painting it on with brushes. The perspective on the structure is off, but I suppose it would work as a compromised style. Looks great, though. I'm probably most proud of those rocks in the foreground. I made the mistake of making the structure a 3-vanish point object halfway through outlining it as a 2-vanish point object. Honestly, though, I think it can be easily rectified simply by shrinking the angle that the floor on the 1st level takes at the corners. May also mess with blur for added perspective while I'm at it. I can post some more stuff tomorrow if people want.
Yui
Some stuff (like the trees, as Armz pointed out) looks a bit wonky, but you said you're still learning this stuff so little things like that should be expected. I'm not a graphics artist by any means so I can't say what to try, but I can say it looks pretty neat, especially for a first thing. Looks like it could fit in in some kinda retro-styled RPG or something, which is neat.
