As said in the other dueling club, it clutters up the forum. And if you're dueling correctly, you can't do your whole turn in one post. There are such things as Trap Cards you know. You opponent can chain them to just about everything you can do. Say you summon a monster and your opponent uses Bottomless Trap Hole. That one monster being removed from play would affect your whole turn. Or in this case, your whole post. This is why AIM/MSN, chatrooms, YVD, and GK are good. You are able to stop your opponent in the middle of their turn so you can use your Traps, Quick-Play Spells, and Monster Effects.

Theres also nothing in the rules that say you can't (or so i'm told) duel in the forum

Rule 24

Other Rules

If you are told by a moderator to stop' date=' you cannot claim that it was not stated in the rules. It is impossible and impractical to list every rule possible. Attempting to circumvent a rule will result in a more severe warning. That includes deleting a post then reposting an identical or similar version of it. That will be considered both bumping and multiple posting. Also, the determination of things such as begging, flaming, spam, whining, etc. are dependent on the moderator, not the users. Any complaints involving attempts to find loop holes in the rules and complaining that it was not explicitly stated in the rules will be ignored.[/quote']

If you can't post anything nice in my club please leave' date=' K?[/quote']

When was I being mean? It's funny that you say that to me, the General Section Mod.

Slime Lord: You aren't the only one who takes the time to read the rules: Stop being off topic

Rule 6

Stay on topic

As such the posting of material should remain at all times within a forum that is topically appropriate' date=' if you are unsure, PM a moderator. Also, if you make a mistake, moderators can usually relocate threads for you (PM a moderator requesting a move). Please keep replies and posts topical to the forum on which they are posted or they will be removed. Remember to read each the description of each place, the guides, and any pinned (stickied) topics before posting. Do a search if you want to ask a question or start a new thread to make sure that it hasn't been posted before.

Don't change existing thread's topic

Relating to topicality, you should not be changing the topic of an existing thread when you reply. This just serves to confuse people who have been following a thread, and often leads to spam and extra threads. If you have a new topic, you should be creating a new thread on that topic and not "hijacking" an existing thread.
